Anderson RocketFlex FP Fastpitch Softball Bat: RFFP review by buddyf
Pros: This bat is a lot like the RockeTech. End loaded and my daughter can handle it great. Don't see much difference between the two bats. Cons:My daughter had the bat for a week and it dents easy towards the end of the bat.

Anderson RocketFlex FP Fastpitch Softball Bat: RFFP review by HICK25
Pros: Bat is awesome! My daughter has always swung Rocketechs 2012 and 2013, but she is 5'6" 95 lbs and at 31' 22 oz. Anderson wasn't long enough. We purchased a 33" 23 oz. which weighs the same as her 31" 22 oz., and plate coverage and pop are amazing. It also has is a little less of an end-load feel. The handle is very stiff with little flex! A+ Cons:I have to buy my other 2 daughters the new Rocketflex!

Ask A Question

Why is the bat being discontinued?

The 2013 Anderson RocketFlex FP: RFFP Fastpitch could be discontinued because the manufacturer stopped making the bat. They may be focusing on the newer model now.

Is this bat ready out of the wrapper? Does it need a break-in period?

The 2013 Anderson RocketFlex FP is a two-piece bat with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The alloy barrel will not require a break-in period.

Damon Expert ·Apr 20, 2013

My daughter was trying out a 2000 model RockeTech bat and went 4 for 5 that night including 3 doubles and 1 triple and hit the game-winning hit. We could see that she had tons of power with it. How does is compare to that model and does this model just add to the features and results of the older 2000 model?

Through the years, not much has changed with the RockeTech. However, the 2013 Anderson RocketFlex FP: RFFP Fastpitch bat is designed to be a little more balanced than previous year models. It also features a new composite handle that will do a better job of reducing sting and vibration. With that being said, it will still offer similar pop to the past RockeTech models.

Product Description

New for 2013! For the first time ever, Anderson's incredibly successful PowerArch multi-wall design is now available with a composite handle! Introducing the all-new, easy-to-swing Anderson RocketFlex! The all-metal barrel of the RocketFlex features two aluminum walls. The inner shell that wields the patented PowerArch contour, and an exterior sleeve that provides added elastic performance and durability with a uniquely end-loaded feel. Together they create a highly responsive hitting surface and superior feel. The RocketFlex features a stiff FlexLink Composite Handle that is tuned to match the all-metal barrel. The handle is made ultra-thin to increase bat speed by allowing the bat to fit in the batter's fingers. It is wrapped with a Thin Sport Grip that provides the tack and feel needed for ultimate control. The MOI of the RocketFlex is optimized through the use of a Weldless-Ergonomic Knob on one end and a TruFlex Toughened Lightweight End Cap on the other end. This reduced MOI makes it possible to swing a heavier bat with less effort so that all players can generate maximum power. Anderson is so confident you'll love this bat, they've brought back their Proof is at the Plate program. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don't like it, simply send it back to us. Let Anderson prove themselves... you've got nothing to lose! Anderson: Game Improvement, By Design! The RocketFlex is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
