Description

New for For the first time ever, the incredibly successful PowerArch multi-wall design of the RockeTech is available with a composite handle! Introducing the all-new Anderson RocketFlex! The all-metal barrel of the RocketFlex features two aluminum walls. The inner shell that wields the patented PowerArch contour, and an exterior sleeve that provides added elastic performance and durability with a uniquely end-loaded feel. Together they create a highly responsive hitting surface and superior feel. The RocketFlex features a stiff FlexLink Composite Handle that is tuned to match the all-metal barrel. The handle is made ultra-thin to increase bat speed by allowing the bat to fit in the batter's fingers. It is wrapped with a Thin Sport Grip that provides the tack and feel needed for ultimate control. The MOI of the RocketFlex is optimized through the use of a Weldless-Ergonomic Knob on one end and a TruFlex Toughened Lightweight End Cap on the other end. This reduced MOI makes it possible to swing a heavier bat with less effort so that all players can generate maximum power. Anderson: Game Improvement, By Design! The RocketFlex is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: The new RocketTech (aka RocketFlex) is awesome! Don't let the name fool you: the new composite handle has a stiff feel to it, not a flexy feel. We use 44/375s in my league, and this bat murders them. It hits the softer balls ASA is starting to use now very well, too. The bat has a slightly end loaded feel to it, but it swings very smooth -- this has been a trademark of Anderson for years now.

Cons: None!

Pros: I purchased a 28 oz. RocketFlex SP. This is a revolutionary bat. The composite handle in conjunction with a double-wall alloy barrel is amazing. This bat swings really smooth through the zone and feels ultra solid at impact. The ball jumps off the barrel. The workmanship is phenomenal. Anderson, nice job!

Cons: None.

RocketFlex for President!

Pros: The end-load lends a nostalgic nod to the days of the PST's, while the performance is up there with any composite bat being made today. My first swing with it out of the wrapper burned the Outfielder's for a homerun. Hits outside the sweet spot don't cause the hand sting found with other metal barrel bats. It hits .44/375 balls just as well as it hits .52/300 balls, and I've used it at 50ºF without any problems. I've always been a RocketTech fan, but this bat might be even better.

Cons: Maybe price? But at least you're getting great durability and American workmanship to go with top-notch performance and customer service.

One RocketFlex. One Love.

Pros: The endloaded feel is great, reminiscent of that of the PSTs or other early doublewall bats. The sweetspot's plenty generous, and hits just outside the sweetspot still feel as if they're hit solidly. Performs well in cooler temps, and with both the .44/375 and .52/300 ball found in my ASA league. If you liked the RocketTech as I have (especially the earlier models), you'll love the RocketFlex.

Cons: None. You won't find a metal-barrel SP bat with this level of performance and durability.

Rocketflex is money! ohyeaheh player

Pros: No break in like composite bats. Hits like a beast from swing one. Ball jumps of this bat and has great carry. No issue hitting line drives or homeruns. I always get questions about it because people haven't seen metal bats perform as good or better than composite bats. Favorite bat and am selling off my composite bats. Anderson makes quality that lasts.

Cons: None.

2013 Anderson Rocketflex Steve player

Pros: feels heavy, but is lighter once you swing. Not a bad bat! just not worth the price, in my opinion

Cons: doesn't have as much pop as other bats, ball sort of "pings" coming off it, and will occasionally vibrate.

Rocketflex RDL player

Pros: This bat is hot right of the wrapper. this bat will hit 240 250 no problem. possibly 300. I have a 34/28 and some of non big hitting girls are hitting past the coed line. I have now purchased a 34/26 for the girls.

Cons: none so far.

Nice Bat, still waiting for it to take off... Chris C., Bronx, NY player

Pros: When you catch the ball on the barrel, the ball takes off. I'm using this in a Modified Pitch Clincher league (USSSSA) and it's produced 2 big flys & 2 off the gate doubles in 2 weekends of action. Feels a bit heavier than the 27 oz. I purchased at, but swings smooth. Still feel like this bat can do more, but might have to wait until Spring time to find out.

Cons: Price. I've gotten similar results from the Louisville Slugger Warrior & DeMarini Ultimate Weapon, both of which are more than 50% cheaper. Isn't very forgiving on mis-hits, but which bat is?

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
