Description

After revolutionizing youth baseball with the introduction of the Axe handle, the Axe Element is back for an encore performance! Featuring a one-piece design, the Axe Element is constructed from LP2 Scandium Alloy that was created from a combination of elements to deliver performance and durability under one-sided hitting conditions. A new proprietary aging process was employed this year along with an elongated barrel to deliver even greater strength, a bigger sweet spot, and maximum legal performance! The Axe Element has also been fortified with the new Engineered Hitting Zone that reinforces the hitting side of the barrel and has the durability to stand up to one-sided hitting. But the thing that makes the Axe Element stand out is the handle. Refined this year with improved ergonomics that deliver better performance and comfort, the Axe handle looks exactly like what it sounds like - the handle of an axe. It defies conventional thinking, but the Axe handle fits perfectly in your hands, pushing the bat to your fingertips where it's supposed to be. The Axe handle's oval nature establishes a single swing plane for ridiculously consistent performance, swing after swing. This is especially important for youth players, as consistency and mechanics are key. Axe is so confident that you'll love this bat, that they are offering a 30 day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee. If the Axe handle isn't for you, simply send it back. What do you have to lose? Axe: Unleash Your Swing! The Axe Element is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

AXE bat Richard Teran parent

Pros: Places my sons hand position as it should be. He is 12, but this is his first year in baseball. He tried some "regular" handled bats, but would "roll" his wrists too soon. We got this one in the mail - and immediately he understood the correct position. First game last night, got a real triple. Made contact and the bat just "popped" the ball over the center fielder's head! FUN!

Cons: Cannot think of one. For this price, I did not think we'd be this pleased.

So far so good Jason parent

Pros: Great Value, My son hits the ball well with the bat and the ball seems to have good pop coming off the bat. Shipped quick

Cons: none, haven't had them long enough to see how they hold up, but I'm not anticipating any problems.

AXE L139A - Nice. Richard Teran parent

Pros: Grip - My son is a beginning baseball player. The grip places his hands naturally where they need to be for solid contact. He says he doesn't like "regular" bats at all now.

Cons: If he "lunges" at the pitch, he gets his hands rolled over and hitting the ball outside of the "hitting zone" and it stings.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
