Pros: Bought this bat for my son and tried it out myself. Love the feel of this bat. Handle is like nothing else out there (other than a real axe). Pop is good and the two piece design prevents sting and vibration.

Cons: Worried about durability, but Baden claims that they have this one sided hitting predicament down to a science. Only time will tell, but it's been fantastic so far!

Pros: Man o man what a bat! Got this bat for my son as an early Birthday present. Did a lot of homework and video watching concerning this bat and decided to give it a try. Great balance, great pop. On his first at bat he hit a 220' homer over the fence. He's 11. It could be a psychological thing but my son said this bat felt lighter at 22 oz than his old Rawling Gold Rush Lite at 20 oz. He loved the handle and felt it help with his swing.

Cons: Nothing at this time. The bat seems durable enough but comes with a 1 year warranty just in case.

My son has one of these bats, he has used it in the cage all winter, hitting dimpled cage balls, probably around two thousand hits, would this deaden the bat? Does that type of use eliminmate "pop"? lenny

Those dimpled batting cage balls can be very dense and are known depreciate the lifespan of the bat. It my not really eliminate pop, but may cause that pop fade a little faster. I recommend only using real baseballs for all hitting activities.
