Description

After revolutionizing youth baseball with the introduction of the Axe handle, the Axe Elite is back for an encore performance! Featuring a two-piece hybrid design, the barrel of the Axe Elite was constructed using LP2 Scandium Alloy. Created from a combination of elements to deliver performance and durability under one-sided hitting conditions, the elongated LP2 Alloy barrel features a HUGE sweet spot for maximum performance! The Axe Elite has also been fortified with the new Engineered Hitting Zone that reinforces the hitting side of the barrel and has the durability to stand up to one-sided hitting. But the thing that makes the Axe Elite stand out is the handle. Made from a lightweight composite material, the Axe handle helps players generate extra bat speed for ultimate power! Refined this year with improved ergonomics that deliver better performance and comfort, the Axe handle looks exactly like what it sounds like - the handle of an axe. It defies conventional thinking, but the Axe handle fits perfectly in your hands, pushing the bat to your fingertips where it's supposed to be. The Axe handle's oval shape establishes a single swing plane for consistent performance, swing after swing. This is especially important for youth players, as consistency and mechanics are key. Axe is so confident that you'll love this bat, that they are offering a 30 day, no questions asked, money-back guarantee. If the Axe handle isn't for you, simply send it back. What do you have to lose? The Axe Elite is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Axe: Unleash Your Swing! Free Shipping!

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Axe Elite Youth Baseball Bat: L134C? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I purchased this bat in 2014 from this website. Shouldn't the location of the "engineered hitting zone" be on the curved side of the handle versus the straight side. In order to get the "engineered zone" to make contact, my son would have to turn his wrists forward which is not what I know of proper hitting technique. Just wondering if it is a flaw in this bat or all Axe Bats like this? Larry
The 2015 Axe Elite Youth Baseball Bat (L134C), like the other Axe bats, will feature the "engineered hitting zone" description on the non-curved side of the handle. This is just the way they decided to not this on the bat as far as the paint scheme. The actual engineered hitting zone is on the curved side of the handle.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
