This bat is made from the finest maple wood billets that have been sonic-tested and weight-balanced. Axis uses a proprietary process known Ek-Technology, or Ek-Tech for short, to ensure the quality of their bats. Ek-Tech is a rotational process where each billet is aligned to rotate on its most perfect axis, while maintaining the natural integrity of the wood and without distressing the organic orientation of the grain. Pros: Very cool concept and sweet looking bat. Solid pop for a maple bat. Seems like good wood too.

Cons: No experience with Axis bats previously, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see how she holds up!

Pros: Great pop, my son is 95 lbs 4'11" He swings about 60mph against a pitcher throwing 72 hit the ball 275ft hit the fence. ( He is in 8th Grade)

Pros: A great value for a true straight grain wood bat. Great balance and pop. Everybody loves the Colors of Courage finish and that buying the bat helps the Wounded Warrior Project.

Cons: NOT ONE - if you are a 113 model lover this is the bat for you.
