Unfortunately, the B2ALYB1 does not have the new USSSA BPF stamp that will be required on youth bats in 2014.

Would this be a good bat for my son who weight 66 lbs and 51 inches tall but does not have a fast bat swing? tterry
The COMBAT B2 Alloy would be a good choice since it is a -12. That will help with players that do not have a fast swing speed.

What is the break in process for this bat? Have had three and they have a cracked sound on contact, almost like a rattle, is this normal? Buddha
The COMBAT B2 Alloy: B2ALYB1 -12 Youth is a One-Piece Alloy designed bat. It requires no break-in period. The Alloy will be the hottest and highest performing right out of the wrapper. This bat when making contact should have more of a ping sound, rather than a crack sound.

My son is a contact hitter. We are looking at this and the 2012 model of the Demarini Voodoo. Are both legal for Little League 2013 and what is your opinion? He is 11 and about 75 pounds. We are looking at the 30 inch, 18 ounce. Do you have any other bat recommendations? AP
Yes, both bats are legal for Little League. The Voodoo is slightly end loaded and is usually preferred for power hitters. Also, 30 inch and 18 ounces is probably a good length and weight. I would recommend getting a balanced bat and maybe looking at a two piece bat as well.

You should limit how much you use any bat when it's below 55 degrees outside. This just means you should not put as many hits on the bat in those temps.

Just purchased this bat for my 6 y/old(27-15), but noticed after a few swings it has a very obvious vibration when tapped on the ground. Sounds like it is coming from the end cap. Is this common? Matt
It's not a common thing to happen to these bats. If you feel like it is defective and effects the performance of the bat, you can return it to us for an exchange or refund. Just use our free shipping label through UPS, in warranty returns under the Customer Service tab.

Little League has not released their rules for 2014, but the COMBAT B2 Alloy: B2ALYB1 should still maintain its legality.

The COMBAT B2 will be a one-piece alloy bat and the COMBAT B4 will be a one-piece composite bat. The B4 will be one of COMBATs top of the line bats.
