This bat is not BBCOR certified. All BBCOR bats will be a -3 and will have BBCOR in the name of the bat.

If your league is mandating that the bats being used have the 1.15 BPF and the USSSA stamp on the barrel of the bat, then you will be able to use this bat. This bat should be allowed to be used in Babe Ruth next year because it has the stamps on the barrel of the bat.

Little League baseball uses 2 1/4 inch barrels. This is a big barrel bat and will not be legal in Little League.

I see several questions about the legality of the Grifter, but didn't see where it referenced the new Intermediate League in Little League. Is this bat legal for Intermediate Little League for 2013? My son has used it and we thought it was legal, and now we are being questioned about it? cindy
The Intermediate Division follows the same rules as the Junior Division. Junior Division allows 2 5/8" barrels as long as the bat has an alloy barrel. The COMBAT Grifter: GRIFSL1 Senior League is legal in Intermediate and Junior Division of Little League.

The COMBAT Grifter (GRIFSL1) Senior League bat and the 2014 Easton S400 (SL14S400) Senior League are both nice options. As far as "pop" goes, they both feature the USSSA 1.15 bpf (Bat Performance Factor) stamp that indicates the batted ball speeds they are capable of producing. Both will be durable and both feature a full 12 month warranty should any breakage occur. The Grifter features a two-piece design that will offer a bit more flex that could whip the bat head forward at the point of contact. This whipping motion could help create quicker bat head speeds leading to more power for the player.
