The 2014 COMBAT Portent is designed more for the power hitters because of the length to weight ratio. The drop 12 is going to be a little lighter in weight which will be better for a contact hitter.

The durability and composite material on both will be very good. Customer reviews say the Wanted may be slightly more balanced and feel better in his hands. The two-piece design will eliminate more hand sting and vibration on mishits.
