Pros: Looked nice, hit ok for 1 practice.
Cons: Bought for 10 year old. Delaminated after 3 practices (after proper break-in using tee). Sent to COMbet seven weeks ago and have yet to receive replacement bat. MY son now uses, and loves, the Vexxum. This was our first and last COMbat bat.

Pros: Excellent bat!! Plenty of pop, have had a lot of other top brand name bats, will never buy anything but COMbat.
Cons: None that I can see.

Cons: worst bat ever

Pros: I feel like this bat broke in pretty slowly, but my son is killing the ball now. Probably more him and his hard work than the bat. He used some -12 big barrels like the B3 and an Easton bat. All had similar results, but he is doing the best with this bat. I also feel like it might be a bit more durable than the -12 bats, simply because there is more material. The bat also has great balance and feels good in your hands. He is one of the biggest & oldest kids on an 8U team and I think the 28/18 is a great fit for similar kids if you have preseason training for break in. If he was smaller, I think the -12 big barrels would be better because with a fixed BPF, bat speed it king.
Cons: As I mentioned, this bat seems exceptionally strong and durable, but seems to take a bit more break-in time. I felt like some of the other bats were initially stronger. I do also miss the awesome sound of a hard hit with an aluminum bat.

Pros: Bat performs well. Has a lot of pop! Many of my son's 10U Majors teammates also use his bat, even though they have their own bat of another brand... size 29-19.

Pros: We used this bat (28/18) through an entire 8u travel season including winter training. The bat was slow to break in, but once it did, it has been very powerful. It is very well balanced and seems to have a large sweet spot. My son has been the strongest hitter on his 8u team and the second strongest on his 10u rec team. Impossible to say what was his ability vs. the bat, but we are very happy with the bat regardless. The graphics have started to flake off just a bit in several spots, but most of the blemishes we can see are from batting practice balls leaving their hide on the bat. I feel like we could use this bat for another season, although we enjoy getting a new bat, so we'll keep this as a backup. My son wants the exact same bat next year. We may go an inch longer and an ounce heavier. We have all Fall and Winter to grow and at 9 years old, he seems to get stronger daily.
Cons: This bat performed exactly as we hoped. The grip is colored from use. The surface has some damage. If anything the bat looks tougher now than when we unboxed it.

Pros: lots of pop great bat
Cons: broke quick the knob was turning

How does the 2013 COMbat Pure stack up to 2013 COMbat B4 Portent and Bubba? Mac
My son is 10 yrs old and is currently swinging a TPX EXOGRID 30" 18.5 oz. He was a very consistent contact hitter last year with 4 or 5 HRs thrown in the mix. I am considering the Combat Pure SL in 29/19 and just wanted your opinion on how the two bats will compare. I am thinking the slight increase in weight, while dropping 1" in length will help him get the bat through the zone a little quicker. Tim
My son is 8 years old and weighs 95 lbs. Is this bat a good choice for him? If so, is 28" 18 oz. better suited for him than 29" 19oz? Gamboyz123X
My son is 10 and using the COMbat 52 caliber 30" 20 oz. and is killing the ball but can't get the ball over the fence. Does this bat have the extra pop or do you recommend a different bat. Also do you think he should get a heavier bat. He is swinging the heaviest bat on the team. Kenny
My son is seven years old and he is 4' tall and weighs 54.2 pounds. Last fall, he used the COMbat Pure with a 2 1/4" barrel and a -12 drop with much success in Little League play. This spring, he switched to an Easton S1 Junior Big Barrel for a rec. league, but he has not had as much success with this new bat. His swing speed is exceptional, as are his swing mechanics. For next year (season), do you recommend switching to a big barrel COMbat Pure with a -10 drop (28"/18 oz.) or move to a big barrel DeMarini CF5 with a -10 drop (29" 19 oz.)? My son is more of a contact hitter, but he is also capable of hitting long (one of the few harder-hitters on his team) and he prefers balanced bats. Please note that I do understand that a young baseball player should not move up more than 1-3 oz. in a bat per year (season), so I look forward to your advice. Batley Boy
When will they be getting 31/21 big barrel bats in? Jr Hawk 33

Is this bat stiff? ryan
When is the B5 coming out? RYAN
