Description

You have just found a hidden gem for wood bat manufacturers. D-Bat is a bat company that allocates its money where it will do you the most good. Many bat manufacturers put a great deal of money into the pockets of professional players so their bats will be seen by the masses. This cost is of course passed on to the customer. D-Bat puts its money into the wood. D-Bat selects only the highest quality billets to make into their bats. They reject wood billets that many other manufacturers use as their mainstay materials for their premium product. Using the highest quality hardwood birch with straight grains, coupled with precision hand-turned and finished bats, allows D-Bat to produce a bat absolutely second to none. D-Bat's calculated decision not to spend thousands of dollars marketing their product through professional players has allowed them to put their money into making one of the best wood bats on the market at a price far below the premium price of their competitors. Price is important to players, because one thing you can be certain of is that wood bats are eventually going to break. It is not a matter of if, but rather when. It may be on your first at bat or after more than 500 at bats. You just never know; which is precisely why hard wood bats have no warranty. With D-Bat's ability to price their high-quality bats modestly, when your bat does break you may feel a sense of loss, but at least it won't cost you an arm and a leg to replace. One thing is guaranteed with these bats. When you walk on the field with a D-Bat, you can rest assured that there is not a finer piece of wood with better craftsmanship and performance anywhere in the park. That little smile on your face comes from the knowledge that your bat performs every bit as good as the "brand name", and you paid considerably less. D-Bat: The Best Wood on the Field! Pros: Fantastic bat! My first at bat in almost 2 years with a wood bat and the ball jumps off the bat more than 300 feet! I love the thin handle plus it does not break easily!

Cons: Marks show up pretty easily but it looks like u hit the ball well!

Pros: Appears to be a solid bat; took about 200 swings in the cage without it breaking. I will be alternating between this bat and the B45 Birch to see which one will be my primary going into the Fall season

Pros: The bat could be good but i wouldn't know.

Cons: I bought 3 of these bats for $180, that was a year ago when they were selling these for 60 dollars a bat. I broke all three of them in one weekend. I called up JustBats and they were great, they sent me better bats from a different company for the problem. I looked on JustBats after i called and they removed the bat so no one could buy them anymore. (I'm guessing due to the amount of complaints or they were just simply out of them). I don't know how others feel but there's a reason this bat went from $60 to $39. I don't know I recommend M^Powered or BWP, these 2 are my favorite companies.

As good as any other from what I've seen Grady parent

Pros: We have seen this bat used in wood bat tournaments around the south where the sponsor of the tournament either provides them or sells them on site and it has performed well with little breakage and with some really solid hits. Performed as well of better than the expensive wood bats. I would say the guy who broke 3 in one weekend likely doesn't know how to orient a wood bat when hitting.

Cons: Haven't seen any compared to other wood bats.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the D-BAT Pro Birch Wood Baseball Bat: 243BIRCH Cherry? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Hey, just received my bat and am excited to try out this well balanced huge barrel bat. I am concerned about the slope of grain. With the yellow birch, am I hitting with the grain or on the face of grain? My label is printed with the grain. I am concerned it might be printed wrong. Bizzle
According to MLB regulations, the logo should be placed along the edge of the grain and you should be hitting on the face grain.

About the Brand

D-BAT offers Franchise Training Facilities plus a full line of products including Wood bats, Gloves, Batting Gloves and Baseball and Softball Accessories…and more!

Their main goal was to provide a quality teaching environment with professional instruction to enhance the baseball and softball experience for players at all levels and help them reach their goals.

In setting forth on the journey to accomplish this vision, D-BAT opened its original location in a small facility in North Dallas with 6 employees – D-BAT believed that the best way to teach the game was by getting into the details of baseball and softball with each and every player and instructing them as individuals. D-BAT has as a core belief that every player plays a different game and should be taught to maximize his or her talents to suit his or her game. We also wanted to create a new type of baseball academy where there are multiple ways for a player to improve beyond the typical baseball training facility. D-BAT Academies feature an exceptionally well-lit, indoor climate-controlled facility, with an environment that invites parents to be a part of their ballplayer’s development along with a top-notch pro shop to provide all your equipment needs.

D-BAT began franchising operations in 2008 and today is the largest network of training facilities in the country.
