i was looking at one of the photos the one at the barel and it looks like it made with bamboo or at least made like one do you now if it is or not and alsoo does this bat have a thick handle

This maple hybrid bat has been reinforced with an 18 inch fiberglass sleeve wrapping around the handle and stretching toward the barrel. This bat is virtually indestructible! After carefully being weighed and checked for correct moisture content, each billet is turned in one of D-BAT's state-of-the-art computer lathes. When the bat is done, it is inspected for specification accuracy and is sent through three different sanding processes to ensure a smooth finish.
