Pros: My son loves this bat. It has a great sound and a light swing weight with a traditional Demarini slighty loaded feel.
Cons: I wish Demarini would make the CF5 in a -5 so it would be more suited for the 13 & 14U players transitioning to BBCOR.
Pros: Awesome.
Cons: None.
Pros: Amazing bat. Probably has the most pop out of any bat out so far. Its a huge step-up from the 2012 CF5, which was already brilliant. This bat is extremely durable and doesn't chip easy. Its pop is unlike any other bat you'll find, as well as trampoline effect. Shock? not a problem. recommend this to any ball player out there. Especially power hitters.
Cons:
Pros: amazin bat just had a tournament this weekend it was amazing went 5 for 6 and hit 2 homeruns and 3 doubles 1 triple this bats is amazing

Pros: Great bat, balanced, amazing pop, my first time using it I hit the ball 370 feet. I hit absolute ropes with this bat. I had an Easton XL1 but I dented it. I love this bat.
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: Went 4-5 first game, with 4 500 ft homers
Cons: On my 5th at bat i grounded out and my coach beat me with the bat until it was dented

Cons:
Pros: Hot out of the wrapper. If this bat gets hotter with additional swings, watch out! Demarini recommends you DO NOT break their bats in.
Cons:
Pros: tremendous pop! first game I went 4 for 5 with two doubles, a single and, a triple. best bat ever! definitely recommend this bat to everyone who wants a balanced swing speed and amazing pop. the break in period was short too!
Cons: none at all!
Pros: Got my bat for my 11 year son who's 5'5" 140 lbs. The first two hits were solid line drives up the middle. One actually fractured the pitchers shin. My teammate used the bat and hit a HR and a line drive stinger to Third. The bat hits great in the right hands and has awesome pop.
Cons: Scuffs easily. None so far.
Pros: very balanced, big sweet spot, great pop, my favorite bat ever
Cons: ball doesn't go anywhere when hit on two piece sleeve
Pros: Pop right out of the wrapper. If you don't like getting stung this is the bat (my very first hit with it I thought I missed that is how smooth it is). Great look and feel.
Cons: Grip gave me blisters on my hands. I bought some adidas tape put it on and it works fine. I am old school and don't use batting gloves. If you are in middle school preparing for bbcor bats theres two options for -8 this and xl1. Every plus goes to this accept xl1 has a bigger barrel.
Pros: good feel lots of pop big hit potential
Cons: outer casing falls off not very duriable
Pros: Perfect for anyone who wants to hit hard
Cons: no cons
Pros: flys off the bat smoothe.
Cons: none
Pros: it is sweet i have had this bat for 4 months and i have hit 7 homers on 250ft on sides and 280ft in center
Cons: it is awesome just reread the pro and that is my con
Pros: great bat. well balanced. light. great pop. huge sweetspot.
Cons: scratches easily
Pros: This is a very good bat I recommend this bat to both contact and power hitters. This is my team bat it has great pop and yea. I recommend these sizes if ages 10-13 10-11 ages 29-21 12-13 ages 30-22 or 31-23
Cons: If caught off handle be prepared to feel vibration
Pros: great pop, not top heavy at all, really good feel, no vibration
Cons: the bats pant does chip but other than that no problems
Pros: my son was 5-5 with 5 home runs
Cons: none
Pros: amazing bat has tons of pop to it. crushes it way farther than any other composite bat ive had.0 vibration feels good when you hit it
Cons: none everything about the bat is perfect
Pros: AWESOME BAT VERY HOT OUT OF THE WRAPPER
Cons: NONE
Pros: this is the best bat ever. i would buy it if it was 250 dollars. I was three for three in my first game with this and a double single and my first homerun!
Cons: None.
Pros: very great bat. tons of pop and line drives. used it once and hit some bombs
Cons: paint chips
Pros: has good pop and is a very good bat
Cons: none
Pros: good pop and nice feel i can't say anything about the durability haven't had it long
Cons: do not use on a hit away it will mess up the bat
Pros: Plenty of pop, awesome grip, looks great, hits bombs straight out of the wrapper, and no vibration!
Cons: None yet
Pros: Very nice pop swings like a -10 barrel seems a little heavy to start, but i love it
Cons: I wish it was made -5 for players going to BBCOR
Pros: The only pro of this bat is if your looking for a new bat every week.
Cons: The bat has a horrible duribility it broke after 50 swings. Went right-center field when ump picked it up cracked in half. Also the pop is ok but there is no -5 for kifds going to bbcor. Not a bad deal, but not a good one either. Would not reccomend
Pros: Love this bat, nice and weighty but not too much. It feels amazing and performs amazing too.
Cons: Too beautiful Too good hits balls too far

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
