Pros: this bat crayy best balanced bat fo sho lightest bbcor fo sho best pop fo sho demarini fo shooooooo
Cons:
Pros: nothing, this bat is horrible
Cons: everything, the only thing that is good about this bat is the color and the design of the bat
Pros: great pop, balanced
Cons: NOTHING
Pros: light balanced not top heavy even and distributed power.....good design to show off your swagger when u hit the LONGBALL....ENJOY!
Cons:
Pros: I gotta tell you, this bat, man, this is the bast bat I have ever used. This bat is extremely nice looking, and finally a bat that isn't over priced even at $400.00. This bat is not heavy at all, and hits like a BESR approved bat, not BBCOR. DO NOT buy the other CF5 because it is cheaper, this is a much better bat!
Cons: Nothing at all!
Pros: feels EXTREMELY light when you swing it, balanced, trampolines off the bat.
Cons: better pop
Pros: wow best pop of any bbcor bat on the market they say this is like th x1 and s1 but this blows them out of the water
Cons: a lot of ball marks but thats ok
Pros: Feels like a lighter bat when swung, cool design, good pop
Cons: Nothing right now
Pros: this is the best bat I have ever used. I have iused the Easton s1 bbcor, the 2012 voodoo, combat b2, and none of those bats even compare to the cf5. I swung the cf5 and Easton s1 and they have about the same swing weight except the cf5 has a much bigger barrel. This bat makes a really cool sound when u hit the ball. Even if you don't hit tue ball on the sweet spot the ball still goes far! Worth every penny!
Cons: NONE!!!!!
Pros: Great pop. Nice handle. Hard to break.
Cons: It is BBCOR.
Pros: The bat just arrived in the mail and it is sooooooooo freaking awesome. The grip is the nicest ive seen. Its not too slick but not too rough. And, its perfectly balanced. Also, im so happy i dont have to worry about breaking it in. i couldnt stop smiling when i opened the package. I would definitely suggest this bat.
Cons: It came with a scratch but im not too concerned about that.
Pros: This is a very great bat for most batters that can swing a bat.It has a really great contact sound and great pop. The sweet spot if fairly big on this bat.
Cons: Read the Pros.
Pros: good pop, balanced, cool design don't buy old cf5 just cause its cheaper, this bat is much better
Cons: NONE!
Pros: great pop but sounds kinda off but the ball seems to fly off the bat. It looks great and performs even better
Cons: chips/scratches easy, expensive $$$, Its full composite so it sounds muffled
Pros: Absolutly amazing any where on bat the ball goes it gets crushed.
Cons: zero
Pros: Great pop, Much better then the disappointing cf5. I defiantly recommend this bat!
Cons: NONE
Pros: Excellent balance. Great sweet spot and the ball comes off like a rocket. Expensive, but certainly one of the best bats I have ever used. A CF4 on steroids.
Cons: None.
Pros: One of the best bats in BBCOR Bounces off my bat. Really light, grip outstanding, does not feel like -3
Cons: None, all team wants to use it
Pros: I just used the bat the other day for the first time. I didn't think much of this bat until I started to hit. This bat has amazing pop! I'm 13 and in junior league and I swung this bat easily. I've used the B3 , XL3 , and the Voodoo all in BBCOR models and by far , this is my favorite.
Cons: Bat is expensive , but well worth the price!
Pros: First off, everyone looking to buy a bat should know this is easily the best Demarini bat since the CF3 (one of my all time favorites, shame its illegal). This hits more like an old BESR because its composite, and its better any other BBCOR i've ever experienced, including all of the Easton Power Brigade series, the disappointing 2012 CF5, Voodoo, Nike, and the Easton Omen. Do NOT settle for the 2012 CF5 just because its cheaper, the new model is far in a way the best bat on the market right now. The grip is perfect, not too slippery, and the balance makes my 33"30' feel like a 32"29'. If you can afford a $400 bat, this should be your pick. Well played Demarini, you have set the bar high once again.
Cons: Very expensive, but still worth it
Pros: This bat is amazing at has so much pop no matter where u hit the ball it wont sting a lot at all. Its very balanced i used the 33/30 yesterday it felt a lot lighter then 30 ounces. The price is a litte high but other then that its an amazing bat!
Cons: None at all!
Pros: Great pop. No diifference from the 2012 model. So look at my review for the 2012 model and it excatly applies to this bat to.
Cons: Paint knicks a little, no biggy.
Pros: this bat is the most balanced bbcor bat on the market.this bat is the nicest feeling bat. jacking bombs is its nickname
Cons: if their was cons i wouldn't have the bat
Pros: Great sleek design. Goes far if you hit it right on sweetspot
Cons: If you get jammed or off the end it is a simple ground-ball near the pitchers mound.
Pros: amazing pop, borrowed my friends and was hitting 2 times better than with my easton XL1, extremly balanced and doesnt have much vibration, designs are awesome. way to go DeMarini
Cons: none
Pros: looks preety cool. but thats where it ends.
Cons: EXPENSIVE. Losses pop to quickly, way too top heavy and bulkey. I would much rather spend my money on an S1 or S2, which are better bats to begin with
Pros: good grip, sweet designs, a lot of pop even if you don't hit it on the sweetspot. I'm 14 and almost hit a homerun over a 360 foot fence not even close to the sweetspot
Cons:
Pros: Great bat! I believe this is the 2nd best BBCOR behind the Cat 5! GREAT pop!
Cons: Doesnt feel good when you hit it off the end or handle
Pros: Good pop, cool design, very balanced. This bat is awesome!
Cons: NONE!!
Pros: Hits heavy, doesn't sting when it not in sweet spot, has amazing pop to it the 2012 cf5 is not even close to as good as this
Cons: None
Pros: It was great for a few months and then went dead.... Florida heat? or poor product? lemon?
Cons: The warranty is a joke. The 3 reasons for returning are fine but if you purchase a "dead" bat or after a few months the bat goes flat/dead they will not accept it and your out $399.00 just like me. My son is 14 yoa; plays travel ball and high school. Easton will honor the customer!!!!
Pros: Nice Design and Pop.
Cons: The 2012 CF5 is Much Better. This Bat Looses Pop To Easy. The 2012 is The Way To Go With More Pop And Trampoline Effect.
Pros: Breaks-in in just about 25 hitts very light like swinging a -10 Amazing handle grip 100xs better then the 2012 version
Cons: Dies fast if it is used by to many people
Pros: EVERYTHING!!! This is the best bat I have ever used. It is really balanced and the best pop of any bbcor. Not over priced at all.
Cons: NONE!
Pros: wow...feels light.very balanced..does not feel or act like a bbcor..feels like the bats I used in rec leagues,,minus 11's...it feels that light...just flick my wrists and ball flies!
Cons: expensive
Pros: Great bat.Looks cools and has so much pop almost a besr I have swung both Marucci bats and this is so much lighter. It feels like a drop 10. It may be expensive but it is so worth it. Don't buy the other cf5 because it is cheaper this is much better.
Cons: The only one is that it get dirty fast but that is easy to fix.
Pros: VERY BALANCED!!! Good pop Fast swing speeds Comfortable Grip
Cons: Not very much pop until bat is broken in.
Pros: This bat makes the ball jump off so well. It is not hard to swing, and it is pretty light. I recomend ths bat and don't buy the easton s3 because it stinks. Buy this bat.
Cons: The white handle tends to get dirty.
Pros: good pop. I reccomend this bat
Cons: The white handle gets dirty.
Pros: So much pop its not even funny
Cons:
Pros: The appearance was what I liked initially plus the fact that I needed a more balanced bat to fit my needs. I got the bat for a birthday present and have been breaking it in and have only played on ball game with it. I Hit the ball fairly well but still getting use to these BBCOR bats. The more I use it doing tee work and other batting drills it's getting more broken in. I like the bat so far.
Cons: Paint chips easily and scratches, but don't all baseball bats if you are using them? Cost for my parents was an issue but if it allows me to maintain a good swing then they say it was worth it.
Pros: Good bat get this freekan bat it is amazing hit a 562 ft hr
Cons:
Pros: Well-Balanced, Huge Sweet Spot
Cons: After about 2 months the pop drops off dramatically-not worth the $400 in terms of long term use.
Pros: AMAZING BAT WENT 8 FOR 8 THE FIRST DAY I GOT IT 1 HR 3 RBI 2 TRIPLES BEST BATS A MUST BUY.(IT WAS A DOUBLE HEADER)
Cons: Non
Pros: Best BBCOR on the market. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: None
Pros: Amazing pop, nice feel to the handle, all the weight is toward the handle so you have no problem catching up & adjusting to different speed pitches because of the weight distribution. If you're a line drive/power hitter I would recommend this bat to you.
Cons: Break in period takes a while and hitting it off the end is unpleasant but all in all good bat.
Pros: Best bbcor bat I've used so far nice weight distribution perfect for the guys who need the extra bat speed but also perfect for line drive/power hitters like myself. Pop is amazing, it feels like you're not hitting anything. GET THIS BAT.
Cons: None except hitting it off the end of the bat is less than fun.
Pros: Bought it for my 13 and 14 year old sons and they love it. It's light, well balanced with lots of pop. I coach my sons Jr. league team and I see the bat in action everything day; they hit line drive after line drive with plenty of pop. I look forward their first game.
Cons: None as of yet...
Pros: Balance, balance, balance. I have never used or picked up a bat with such a light swing weight. While the S1 is so renowned for their light swing weight, the CF5 is even more balanced. This bat flies through the zone and allows solid contact almost all the time.
Cons: Very difficult to get used to. Your timing gets slightly thrown off when your bat speed is so quick but after a week or so the ball started jumping off the bat.
Pros: One of the best bats I have ever swung. In my opinion, it's overall quality beats any other bat on the market. Large sweet spot, great pop, fantastic grip, and very well balanced. This bat is great for either a power hitter or a contact hitter like myself.
Cons: None!
Pros: ball literally jumps off of bat! so light it is lighter than all 4 easton speed series and just amazing feel for anyone.
Cons: impossible
Pros: Very neat appearance and the smaller knob feels great.
Cons: The bat feels dead to me and the others that borrowed it. ranging from contact hitters to power hitters as well. I would compare it to the feel of a tennis racquet. Spongey!
Pros:
Cons:
Pros: Amazing pop off the shelf. One of the lightest swinging bats I've ever used!! Highly recommend this bat!!
Cons:
Pros: Best bat in the whole world. Never think it is too expensive cause you will be wiped out once you get it.
Cons: NONE AT ALL!!!
Pros: I am 6 years old and I play varsity ball. I have hit 8 home runs so far this year out of 5 games. This bat is insane!
Cons:
Pros: This bat is amazing, I absolutely love it. Great sweet spot, lots of pop. I also love the grip.
Cons: None, its a great bat
Pros: great pop, amazing graphics, and very balanced!
Cons: nothing
Pros: great pop well balanced
Cons: broke end cap after 2 months. Takes 7 - 10 business days for repair. Horrible customer service in warranty department. They don't care that you are without a bat for 7 to 10 days
Pros: This bat so far is amazing! Game by game I hit it deeper and deeper! It has so much pop on every hit. Amazing balance to it and huge sweet spot! Very good looks too, well done DeMarini!
Cons: You have to break it in, but you get a lot of extra batting practice by doing that, so it evens out.
Pros: My son loves this bat. His avg has really improved. Great product. Oh yeah, super fast shipping. Just Bats, keep up the good work.
Cons: none
Pros: My son loves this bat. His avg has really improved. Great product. Oh yeah, super fast shipping. Just Bats, keep up the good work.
Cons: none
Pros: thin handle, good grip, ball explodes off of it, top heavy
Cons: chips away easily
Pros: none
Cons: dies way too quickly, im definitely going back to the voodoo after this
Pros: very well balanced, feels much lighter than 29 oz bat it said I swung
Cons: doesn't have very much pop, you must break it in, then you have to find your sweet spot on the bat, but even then it has little pop
Pros: has a good sweet spot very light im a power hitter and i liked it
Cons: losses pop takes a while to get used to, and the end cap breaks my end cap broke in 3 monthes and i dont even have a warranty
Pros: None
Cons: Purchased this bat for my son who plays high school baseball. He went to a bat store that had demos of tons of bats and hit them all and he hit this bat great in the cage/demo. But after purchase of a brand new version of that bat he never hit well. Used in several games, batting practice even with his hitting coach. NONE of his fellow teammates could hit this bat. The performance was just not there. It was a "Dead Bat". I even contacted the factory and told them I thought it was defective and sent it back to them for their "Official Testing" and they came back with "Everything was ok" but still No results when my son used the bat. Stay away from this bat and don't waste the money. Now going to ebay to sell the bat as a Used Bat.
Pros: this bat is amazing I bought it and took it to a cage and it hit like any besr I have used in the past in my babe Ruth team. all my coaches say its surprising light.
Cons: grip. and pant chips
Pros: Balanced feel Solid Well Constructed Insane Pop Good Design $129 Bucks for the 34" More Durable than Alloy Barrell bats
Cons: Rotational index is difficult to use
Pros: Faster bat speed, feels light, good grip, lots and lots of pop.
Cons: Nothing.
Pros: I used to have a -10 Easton S2, and i had my doubts about trying to break in a bat 7 oz heavier. But when i gripped it, it felt like it was only 3 or 4 oz heavier! Amazing weight and distributed evenly. Got a lot of pop!!
Cons: Why would there be anything bad?
Pros: Awesome end cap that helps keep the weight balanced. Amazing flex on the swing that helps generate power. Thin handle for sweet grip. Looks awesome. Better than the cf6.
Cons: Makes me want more.
Pros: Very good bat except for knob problem on CF5s. Knob broke twice on my son's 2012 CF5 and then again on the 2013 CF5. Each time knob broke off in his hand during a swing. Both of my sons had CF4s with no problems.
Cons: Durability.
Pros: Great pop
Cons: None
Pros: first time I swung this bat I hit it to the fence very good bat
Cons: I would hate to be on other team
Pros: When they say this bat has a light swing weight, they mean it! This bat can be used by any type of player. You do not need to sacrifice swing speed with this big barreled bat, unlike many other bats on the market with giant sweet spots. The sweet spot is giant on the cf5, its really hard to hit a ball off of it that doesnt feel good. I dont have much at all to complain about this bat, I love it.
Cons: Takes 100-200 swings off the tee or soft toss to get broken in. That's what you'll have to do with any composite barreled bat, not a big deal at all though.
Pros: good balance, good design
Cons: dies after twenty games, gets dented easily very little pop have had two of these they both died if u like demarini buy a voodoo or vexxum
Pros: 32/29 lots of pop, very balanced, good general feel.
Cons: Paint chipped way too easily, which lead to little cracks along the barrel. Was dead in a couple of months, lost all its pop.
Pros: This bat has great pop and has a big barrel and sweat spot. I've been using this bat for 2 years now not a crack or dented
Cons: None
Pros: one of the best bats ive ever used!! if your a power hitter that wants a balanced but stiff feeling bat, this us the best there is!
Cons: NONE
Pros: No vibrations best pop ever
Cons: Not the best durability
Pros: Everything about this bat is awesome. I launched a ball almost 500 feet in the last game of the season
Cons: Nothing
Pros: If your not a huge kid and need a lighter feeling bat this is defiantly it. It feels extremely light when your swing and the balls comes right off the bat. Great for contact hitters Light Aesthetically pleasing evenly balanced
Cons: If your a big power hitter and like a endloaded bat, this is not it. May be too light for some people
Pros: If your not a big kid and need a little something you can swing fast this is the bat. Feels very light and is very easy to get around. It has a big sweet spot and it also looks SICK.
Cons: Price
Pros: the bat has so much pop even not broken in hitting to 395 foot to center when i got it broken in it was going at least 478 feet was my longest with this bat of 46 home runs in a season
Cons: i dont know how to send bat back when it broke but i still hit a home run when it broke after almost 3 years so can you send be a new 32 29 bbcor cf5 2013
Pros: 2012 and 2013 Demarini CF4 and CF5 bats were okay durability wise, had decent pop, and were better than the Easton Speed or Easton aluminum bats. However, the Easton Omen and XL1 bats Senior league bats turned out to be a much better bats for players with big swings. There was no comparison regarding pop.
Cons: They only lasted 1 and a half seasons before cracking, otherwise performed well.
Pros: THIS BAT HITS BOOMS THE BEST BAT EVER HAD
Cons: NONE

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
