Ruxin
Pros: None
Cons: After a week of using this bat it was dead. For this price you have to pay i thought it would be much better. I also have the Easton S1 and S3 and these two bats are much much better for a smaller price.

Cons: 269 dollars for me that seems to cheap for this bat
Batman101
Pros: Has good grip
Cons: This is the worst bat when I swing the bat feels flimsy and seems to flex when swinging. The bats head feels heavier then the handle and is not Equal in weight.
Bob
Pros:
Cons: I though it was going to be a great bat but it turned out to be the worst bat ever. It has no pop, no balance, and it is too heavy. It is just a terrible bat. I wouldn't recommend it.

Bas
Pros: I just bought my 7 year old this bat the second time he used it he hit a bomb 180' it's a 30/19 and he don't struggle with it and to top it off my 6 year old ate the defense up with it tonight.... GREAT BAT
Cons: None
Juergensen
Pros: Just bought a 31/20 2013 CF5 for my 11 year old son. He absolutely loves it. More pop than his 30/18 Easton S1, and built better too. His Easton S1 had the end label fall off repeatedly until I glued it on with epoxy. DeMarini = Made in America Easton = Made in China
Cons:
Baseball Fanatic
Pros: Great bat. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Make sure you break the bat in for best results. I hit over 200 balls before bat starting hitting to it's full potential. I had the Easton S1 bat 28/16 oz and this bat has outperformed the Easton. Just don't think you can take bat out of box and start hitting homers. Breaking the bat in correctly is the key to getting the full potential out of this bat.
Cons: None! One of the best bats ever.
Nick
Pros: great weight, great balance, and great pop. First time using it in a game, my son hit a double to deep left and then next at bat hit a 205 foot home run to right field.
Cons: need to swing it to hit it.
matt
Pros: it is insane buy it the ball jumps off it
Cons: none
mikeymikey
Pros: very awesome bat,I actually got this bat and i hit 2 homeruns in the Solanco 9 year old All-Stars!! has a very good pop. Best bat u could ever have!!
Cons: how much you have to warm up the bat:( Nothing else on the bad side
kane
Pros: Very good bat. has lots of pop, lots of flex, and is also very balanced. However, because of it's power, its good for a contact hitter and power hitter.
Cons: none really. except for 2012 cf5 looks cooler:)
dustin
Pros: Everything is just amazing with this bat. Just so much pop this is amazing. Go get it.
Cons: Ha, none.
Billy boy
Pros: Great. I'm 8 years old and 55 lbs. I've cleared our 250 ft. fence in 5 straight at bats. Loving it!
Cons: None.
east allstar 44
Pros: great pop even weight distribuation just like my cf4
Cons: nothing but if you find a demarini cf4 it has a little more pop
ComBat
Pros: Nice feel, nice look. Good pop.
Cons: Heavy, slows down bat speed. Compared to non-comp DeMarini, this is at least 1oz heavier.
edog
Pros: Best bat ever.
Cons: None.
quietman
Pros: My 12 yo who has been a little-league all-star the past two years and also plays pony has used a few pricey bats over the past years. An Omen XL, a Voodoo, a techzilla and last year's CF5 hae all served well. This bat blows them all out of the water. The managers of both our current teams, plus the batting instructor at the local cages, not top mention everyone else on the team are amazed at the pop and the balance and easy swing of this bat. You will be as well.
Cons: Price! Weighs 21.2 ozs NOT 20 as advertised!!! We knew it weighed more than claimed ahead of time and wanted that weight. Heavier can be good, and we bought this on purpose. BUT DeMarini should not publish a -11 on a -10/-9.5 bat!!! For some this may matter...
baseballbatmaster
Pros: AMAZING!my friend used my cf5 and he hit a home run over a 220 ft fence and he had never hit any good in his life. He's ONLY 9 years old.
Cons: NONE! NONE! NOTHING is wrong with this bat
BatBuyer
Pros: Looks good, well made Solid pop after break in
Cons: Feels heavier than other 30" 19oz bats. If your swing speed is not fast enough this could make a difference.
10 year old bomber
Pros: IM 10 and the first two times i hit with it i hit home runs that bounced off the scoreboard 250 feet away.
Cons: NONE!!!!!! Best bat great sweet spot
jojo
Pros: I wish i could get one
Cons: I cant get one
Anonymous
Pros: Great bat, lots of pop, better than Easton S1
Cons: Not as good as XL1, barrel not as big
Austin Anderson DAD
Pros: this is the best bat so far for my son. He has used the CF4 and Voodoo. this 2013 CF5 has out preformed both and is yet to be fully broke in. hes short and lite for his age can wait for his first game the outfielders r going to move in on him, and hes going to bust it over their head.
Cons: if i would have waited a week i would have save 50 buck
Andre The Homerun Hittin' Machine
Pros: Lots of pop and it's also very light. I recommend it to every kid in little league, but if you're kind of nervous about seeing what this bat can do then ask a friend or teammate to try the bat out. If nobody has the bat I'm confident that you will love it.
Cons: None.
Ed
Pros: Phat graphics
Cons: Everything else
Rizzle
Pros: Great bat. I recently got it and the first hit of my game I hit it over a 300 foot fence. I barely swung. Next at bat my buddy Jason hit it over the same fence and I'm loving this bat. It has tremendous pop and it's the best of the best.
Cons: None at all.
mikeymike
Pros: This bat is AMAZING. everthing is a PRO. I got it last year for 249.99 and i hit the reccomended 300 hits with it and i went out to Solanco 9 yr. old All Stars and hit 2 265 ft. BOMBS with it.
Cons: Noting at all but some balls that you hit get all the lettering from the ball on it a little bit.
Anonymous
Pros: Very nice bat we have five kids on the team with them now

Pros: There is so much to love about this bat. Looks great, has a great grip, durable and unbelievable pop with a -11 drop.
Cons: Paint chips.
Nacho
Pros: Great balance, the ball explodes off of the bat.
Cons: The first week the paint and logo's started coming off. I've had bats for three years that look better.
DemariniBats123
Pros: Love the style of the bat great bat especially for my friend who bats 4th in the lineup he just crushes the ball
Cons: none except that im in a huge batting slump
Derp

philliesphan
Pros: This bat has extremely good pop. I even hit my first career homerun with it, and tons more in batting practice. Truly a great bat with a good price.
Cons: The duribility on this bat is low. I didn't even get into the spring season with it, and I bought it in the fall.
lefty
Pros: Very good pop easy to break-in. Hit a 290' HR with it my first AB.
Cons: Very low durability. I bought it at the beginning of the summer and it only lasted until the end of fall.
best bat
Pros: great pop quicker bat
Cons: none
G
Pros: Great weight ratio with great pop. Intimidating bat in both performance and style.
Cons: That I didnt get this bat sooner.
yourmom#3
Pros: Looks great. Paint job is nice. The grip is very sticky which improves slipping when swinging. The sound when you hit the ball on the sweet spot lets you know you got a hold of the ball. Ripped a 2 RBI double first time up at the plate.
Cons: You have to get used to the different sweet spot as it is with any bat. Barrel gets marked up very easily. Also, the end cap, as it is with being white, turned brown the first game with it. Paint also chipped on the lower barrel handle. But those are things that don't effect your hitting so overall it's an amazing bat. I highly recommend this from a serious baseball player in a serious league.
Pablo
Pros: Hits well, great bat speed, does damage to the ball.
Cons: None.
Homer
Pros: Great pop. My 11 year old 95pounds, hit his first homerun today with it.
Cons:
John longp
Pros: I bought this bat as soon as it came out, I bought with confidence that demarini , will back up there bat, if it dents or goes dead,,,,, WRONG. I panicked once I started reading there return reviews, customers where outraged, and now I am, do not think there is a warranty , they say dents are not caused by balls, and if there's a dead bat , they totally deny and lie, , if you would like to chat with me contact me at boston567@aol.com
Cons: The bat failed , save your money, I wish I bought the Easton omen
jerrico
Pros: amazing pop the entire team uses it. for got it tonight and no one could hit the ball to save there sole
Cons:
CF5
Pros: Best bat I have ever had. Tons of pop. Huge sweet spot. I'm 12, i'm not a power hitter but I hit a 250 foot bomb with it. Half of my team uses it. I recommend this to a good contact/power hitter.
Cons: None.
baseball baller
Pros: My friend got this bat and I was about to get it. I tried his out to see if I liked it. I hit one to the fence and it isn't even broken-in yet. I am 10 years old and I was looking for a heavier bat. My friend and I are both power hitters and we crush with this bat. This is the perfect bat for a stronger kid looking to jack it.
Cons: Why is this here?
beast
Pros: This bat has great pop.
Cons: If you put one of these down you are a loser.
yo

Pros: So i was playing with this bat on a legion field and my dad throws me a home run and i pull one to the right field fence at 300 the next game it was fully broke in i hit 3 home runs and 1 ground rule double and im usually a contact hitter cause im 5 foot and 87 pounds
Cons: none the bat is great
smiley
Pros: This bat has pretty amazing pop. If you're a power hitter, this bat is just perfect for you.
Cons: It just doesn't sound all that good when you hit it. I'm sure it is because it's composite.

beasty bat
Pros: Super duper shweeet!
Cons:
coachI
Pros: I don't like my players crediting the bat when they hit well, but have to say this bat has the most pop I have seen..I believe it is because of the weight distributed toward the barrel.
Cons: Scuffs a little more than other bats, but who cares? It's a bat not a new Corvette!
baseballer15

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
