Description

The DeMarini CF6 uses groundbreaking technology to produce a BBCOR bat that can do some serious destruction on the diamond! Constructing the CF6 using their new Paradox Composite barrel and handle on this two-piece design creates a more compact carbon that enables DeMarini to make the new CF6 lighter and stronger than ever before. This year's CF6 features DeMarini's D-Fusion handle that eliminates all vibration for the smoothest feel of any bat on the diamond, and also creates an extended sweet spot through the entire barrel by transferring the energy from the handle back into the barrel. This revolutionary design has been praised by players that have tried it, because it allows you to swing harder without the fear of a mishit. The stronger design allows for more even weight distribution, which in turn produces faster bat speeds! Paradox Composite makes the barrel stronger, while being scientifically shaped to feel softer on impact. This makes for a bigger, hotter, and more responsive sweet spot and consistently more powerful swings! The CF6 features ParadoX Composite that creates a trampoline effect across the entirety of the barrel for completely optimized performance. The CF6 also features a Geo End Cap that's focus is on keeping the barrel stiff and not letting energy escape through the end of the bat. This gives each and every hit an extra blast of energy. DeMarini: Born Hardcore! The DeMarini CF6 is BBCOR Certified and approved for high school and collegiate play. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

CF6 versus Mako- winner is the CF6 Brad parent

Pros: Son alternated using the CF6 and the Mako for 1st yr of high school ball. After 2 weeks he stopped alternating and now only uses the CF6- has a much lighter swing and the ball flies off further. Also more forgiving on miss hits and has no vibration after effects.

Cons: None- maybe the price but it's worth it.

CF6 is the Lightest Swinging Bat with a ton of pop Happy Dad parent

Pros: After buying a "dead" mako we switched to the CF6. I am aware of the break in period for a composite bat, but this had great pop right away. My son enjoyed his Velo for over a year. great line drive, light swinging bat. This CF6 is a really special bat. It is very balanced, has great pop and easy to swing.

CF6 BBCOR 31in/28oz jerseydad parent

Pros: Bat has a great feel and my son likes it very much. Well balanced, yet still feels slightly end loaded. Has good pop out of box, but does need to be broken in.

Cons: It appears technology to handle vibrations is in the grip material itself. If that goes, replacement grip could be expensive.

Solid bat Great for hitters with contact and power P.T. player

Pros: Bat is mostly balanced with a slight end load. Great pop, the d fusion handle eliminates about 95% of all vibrations. Sounds great like the crack of a wood bat when good contact is made.

Best BBCOR yet RedWigglersCoach coach

Pros: Nice swingweight - somewhere between the Easton Xl1 and Easton Mako. The Mako was good for inside half and Xl1 was good for outside half pitches - but CF6 is just right. Also the bat is the only BBCOR I have tried (out of countless others) that has sweetspot more in last section of barrel. Most sweetspots are now moved in so far. The farther out sweet spot allows for more batwhip and seems to increase exit speeds.

Cons: Just got it and only used in cage with tee, soft toss, and pitching a few sessions. Eager to see how it does against game level pitching.

Great bat, very different Jared player

Pros: Massive pop. I have yet to hit a ball that stings my hands but i have had some vibration off of the end of the bat. is a big difference if you are used to bats like the older vexxums, voodoo, and xl series because it is a VERY balanced bat with a much smaller sweet spot that all of those bats i named. Has much more pop than the mako and i like the CF6 in general better than the mako and easton's speed series.

Cons: smaller sweet spot. tape wears down quickly. marks up easily.

Best DeMarini Bat Danny player

Pros: The pros of this bat are that it has so much pop, a huge sweet spot, very balanced and it's very balanced. I have hit with my friends CF6 and now I need one to advance to the next stage of my career, high school. This bat has great pop, if you put a good swing on a ball with this bat, it's going deep. The bat is very light, so you can hit of the faster pitchers without losing barrel length and bat speed. The trampoline affect makes the momentum go back into the ball and the ball travels so much farther because of this. The balanced feel helps you get to every part of the plate and gives you power without the heavy barrel.

Cons: I almost cracked the endcap off the bat when I bombed an outside pitch 300ft over the 200ft fence. It turned out the only damage was a surface scratch. This bat scratches easily so be wary.

A MUST GET Andrew_louis8 player

Pros: I have had this bat for 6 months and it is amazing. I was deciding between this bat or the MAKO (because everyone had it and they swore that it was the best) The MAKO is all hype. All of my friends who had the MAKO sold it to get the CF6. Dont waste your money on the CF7 because it is the same exact bat as the 6, but it is a different color, and there is a different grip.My teamate has it, and he actually prefers my 6 instead of his 7!I had a CF5 for two years, and when you break it in, you can feel every vibration going through the bat, which nobody likes. I have taken at least 3,500 swings with the bat, and I never felt a thing once! This bat is truely amazing! I would recomend it to anybody. The D-Fusion handle (the piece in the middle if it) bends. It is crazy because when you hit the sweet spot, or get an inside pitch, you can feel that the bat bends a little bit. Nothing to to worry about, it helps out a lot, Its like a slingshot! good for power hitters. Good for anyone!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: After a couple of swings there are marks from where the ball hit, but its like that on every bat. You get used to it, Overall this bat is great! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE CF7!!!!!

Great Overall Bat Baseball player

Pros: I've swung many top of the line DeMarini and Easton bats, and the CF6 tops them all by far. The CF6 has a whole different feel than the CF5-but it's a lot better. The D-Fusion handle elimates the vibration greatly and the pop on the bat is very noticable. Also the bat has a low M.O.I. (Moment of Inertia), in other words the bat's weight is very evenly distributed throughout the bat; making it easy to swing with speed.

The **PRE-BOOK** 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult and the 2014 Easton Mako BBCOR are both top of the line bats from each manufacturer. They will feature the same two-piece, balanced, composite design. Both would be an ideal choice for any Adult hitter.

The Senior League version of the CF6 will not be approved for any division of Babe Ruth, because they require all composite bats with 2 5/8" barrel diameters to be BBCOR certified, and the Senior League model is not.

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult will be best suited for a contact hitter because it is a two-piece, balanced bat.

Brandon

Jason
Is the barrel bigger on the cf6 or the Easton mako? Which bat has the bigger sweet spot? john deer
The Easton MAKO offers a longer barrel, but the sweet spots are similar. The Paradox Composite in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult allows the sweet spot to be increased while having a standard barrel length.
Mac

Jason
Is this bat better than the MAKO? Btandon
Both the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR: BB14MK Adult and the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult are top of the line composite designs. The MAKO will have a longer barrel but both bats will be extremely balanced and have bigger sweet spots.
John H

Justin R.

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is one of the better two-piece fully composite designs on the market. It is one of the lightest swinging models on the market as well. The Paradox composite gives the CF6 a bigger sweet spot and the D-Fusion handle eliminates almost all vibration.
John H

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult bat will not lose pop quickly. The new Paradox composite material will also allow for a larger sweet spot compared to the 2012 model.
Brandon

Kara

Kara
When will the price drop? ethan
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult will be that price until DeMarini lowers their price.
Jason
I am 15 years old and around 195 pounds. Would the CF6 or the MAKO be better for me? I am a power hitter, but I don't like end loaded bats. I like a balanced bat better. J5
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult and the Easton MAKO are going to be comparable because they will both be light weight and balanced. The CF6 features a D-Fusion handle that helps to reduce vibration, but also gives it a stiffer feel. The stiffer feel of the CF6 may make it slightly better suited for a power hitter than the MAKO.
Tori
What is better for power: the CF5 or the CF6? jake
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult offer similar performance, but feature two noticeable differences. The CF6 is made from the Paradox Composite material that gives the bat a larger sweet spot than the TR3 F.L.O. Composite of the CF5. The CF6 also features the D-Fusion handle that eliminates vibration on balls that are not squared-up. Both bats will give you similar maximum performance, but the CF6 is a bit more forgiving.
Mac
Which bat has a longer barrel 2014 CF6 BBCOR or 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR? From the picture it looks like the CF6 has a slightly longer barrel but I am not sure. Also what is the difference between the TR3 F.L.O composite and the Paradox composite? Thanks. Daniel
The 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR: BB14MK Adult has a slightly longer barrel than the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult. The new Paradox composite provides a stiffer feel and hot out of the wrapper performance. The CF6 also features D-Fusion handle technology to reduce vibration.
Kara
How does the CF6 compare to the 2014 RIP-IT AIR ELITE? I'm more of a lead off or hit for average type of batter, and I'm trying to find a bat that suits my needs the best. sam
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult and RIP-IT AIR Elite BBCOR would both be great options for a lead-off/contact hitter. Both are two-piece in design, so they provide that type of player with additional trampoline effect. They are also both very balanced models that allow you to achieve higher swing speeds. One major difference between them will be that the composite barrel of the CF6 should offer a longer useful life than an alloy barrel.
Mac
How different is the 2014 CF6 from the 2014 Voodoo? Is the CF6 better, and how? Schyler
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is a well-balanced two-piece composite model that's a great fit for contact hitters looking to increase bat speed. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and a composite handle. The Voodoo is end loaded, making it a great fit for power hitters.
Katie
My son is 4'11'' and 95 lbs. He is looking for a composite BBCOR bat for a contact hitter. Would Demarini CF6 or Easton MAKO be better? Billy
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR: BB14MK Adult are both two-piece composite bats, designed for a contact hitter. They are both balanced and very high performing. The MAKO has a slightly extended barrel. The CF6 offers a D-Fusion handle to help reduce vibration, but this also causes it to feel stiffer.
Tori
How much larger is the MAKO's barrel compared to the CF6's barrel? bd0g13
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult barrel will be similar to an Easton S1. The MAKO will be slightly longer and more extended.
Brandon
Home Run bat? I'm a power hitter it's something I want to know. Isaiah
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is a balanced bat but can be used to hit for power.
Damon
My 14 year old son has been using the 2013 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR bat this past year, but it has not been overly impressive. It does not have much pop. What is your opinion on the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR? How is it better than the 2013 CF5? Nate Dog
The DeMarini CF6 was produced with a new composite to help better performance. Also, the CF6 features a D-Fusion handle to help eliminate vibration.
Tori

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult will be slightly more balanced than the S1.
Tori
Which bat is more top heavy: the CF6 or the Voodoo OVERLORD? Also, which one would you recommend yourself? CJ
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is a balanced two-piece composite, well-suited for a contact hitter or any player looking to increase bat speed. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR: DXVDC Adult is an end loaded two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle. The OVERLORD is catered toward power hitters, with its end loaded swing weight.
Katie
What is the difference between the CF6 and the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo? Nick
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC Adult) is a two-piece fully composite design with a balanced swing weight. The 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR (DXVDC Adult) is a two-piece hybrid design with a slightly end loaded swing weight. The CF6 is constructed with DeMarini's new Paradox composite and the 2012 Voodoo has a TR3 composite handle with a SC4 alloy barrel.
John H
Is the CF6 available in half sizes like 32.5" 29.5 oz.? Davis
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is not currently available in half sizes. The CF6 is produced in the 30", 31", 32", 33", and 34" sizes.
Mac
I had the 2013 CF5, but I didn't particularly like the feel of it, as if it was too balanced and I couldn't hit the ball hard. Does the 2014 CF6 have a similar feel? Or is it slightly more end-loaded? Wingnut6000
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult will have a similar swing weight to previous models of the CF5. The CF6 will feature an upgraded composite material as well as the new D-Fusion handle. If you want a more end-loaded model, I would recommend going with the new 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD.
Justin R.
I am a 6' 1" 13 year old power hitter. Would the CF6 be the kind of bat that is mostly for contact but has a plot twist and can be a power bat also? Tuskerdoo
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a balanced bat typically preferred by contact hitters. It also features a D-Fusion handle that helps to reduce vibration, but also gives it a stiffer feel. The stiffer feel of the CF6 makes it a great option for a contact hitter who can hit for power.
Tessa L.
I am mainly a power hitter. Should I go with the DeMarini CF6 or the DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD? justin98
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a balanced, two-piece bat and is best suited for a contact hitter. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR (DXVDC) is an end loaded bat and is designed for a power hitter.
Kara
Do you recommend this bat for colder weather? kmill21
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a composite bat and should not be used in temperatures below 55 degrees.
John H
Is this bat good for a home run hitter? rv29
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult could be a great bat for a power hitter that loves a balanced and light weight feel.
Brandon
Will the CF6 require a break-in like other composite bats? John R.
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult bat will require a short period of break-in.
Brandon
I am 13 and looking for a bat like this, but I want to know if it only comes in BBCOR? trayton g
The DeMarini CF6 is available in a Youth model and in Senior League models for baseball. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult is the BBCOR model.
Jason
What has a bigger sweet spot, the MAKO or this? ilovebaseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult has a D-Fusion handle and uses Paradox composite which helps extend the sweet sport throughout the entire barrel. The 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR (BB14MK) Adult has an extended barrel that creates a bigger sweet spot. The MAKO and the CF6 have similar size sweet spots.
Jason
Is this bat end loaded or balanced? demarinirocks
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) Adult bat does feature an extended sweet spot, but it has a very balanced swing weight.
Mac
I am looking for a bat that I can use in high school baseball. I want a composite bat and am open to suggestions. I'm 6'1" and 250 lbs. What do you think? forest gump
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC). The CF6 featrures a balanced swing weight, typically preferred by contact hitters. However, it does have an extended sweet spot typically preferred by power hitters. It would be a great option for a power hitter who loves a balanced and light weight feel.
Tessa L.
Does this bat have a more balance swing weight than the 2014 Marucci Elite? DeMarini Hitter
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Marucci Elite BBCOR (MCBE14) are similar in swing weight. They are both very balanced bats.
Kara
Why is the CF6 $100 more than the Voodoo Overlord? Is it due to the composite barrel? trey
Yes, the composite materials on the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult bat will change the pricing compared to Voodoo Overlord and its alloy barrel.
Brandon
I am a freshman in high school. I am 5'10 160 pounds. I am a line drive hitter that hits for average. Not a power hitter exactly or a contact hitter. Would you recommend the CF6 or the Voodoo Overlord? What size? trey
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 32" model in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult. The two-piece design and balanced swing weight help create quicker swing speeds and is great for line drive hitters.
Jason
Which is more like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo, the DeMarini CF6 or the DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD? Mo
The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD (DXVDC) will feel the most like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo. The OVERLORD will have the same end-loaded swing weight that the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo did. The DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) will be more a balanced swinging bat.
Kelby
I am a 5'6" freshman in high school. I have quick bat speed and am more of a contact hitter with speed. Being a proud DeMarini follower, I was wondering if I should get the Overlord or the CF6? Why? I use a 31 inch 28 oz. Nick
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult is better suited for a contact hitter with its balanced swing weight. The Voodoo Overlord has an end loaded swing weight and is typically preferred by power hitters. The end load on the Overlord might cause you to lose some bat speed.
Jason
What is the biggest difference between the CF6 and CF5? jim
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult uses new Paradox composite and features a D-Fusion handle. The D-Fusion handle helps eliminate vibration and the Paradox composite provides the bat with a bigger hotter sweet spot.
Jason
If you had to choose which would you choose, the CF6 or Easton MAKO? Be
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR: BB14MK Adult are both two-piece composite bats, designed for a contact hitter. They are both balanced and very high performing. The MAKO has a slightly extended barrel. The CF6 offers a D-Fusion handle to help reduce vibration, but this also causes it to feel stiffer. Both will be pretty comparable.
Tessa
I am a power hitter and would like to know which bat would you recommand that i should use the 2014 DeMarini CF6 or the DeMarini Overload pamps
We would suggest the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR (DXVDC). This particular model features an end loaded barrel that is designed with power hitters in mind.
Gary T.
I am about 5'6 and about 112 pounds. I am 13 and play middle school varsity. Would you recommend the CF6 or the voodoo overlord? Is it true that you shouldn't use the CF6 in cold weather? B
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo Overlord (DXVDC) are both high quality bats. They differ in their construction and the materials used to make them. Which one would be right for you would be a matter of player preference. The CF6 is a two piece all composite design meaning the barrel and the handle are both composite materials. It offers a balanced swing weight and a fair amount of flex through the swing zone. The Voodoo Overlord would be a more end loaded model and is a hybrid design. It has an alloy barrel and a composite handle. It will feel slightly heavier towards the bat head and will create more of a "ping" sound than a composite barrel bat. Generally, end loaded models are preferred by power hitter types and the balanced models are more for contact hitters. We do not recommend using either of these bats in weather below 55 degrees. Below that temperature, the core of the baseball can condense and actually become harder. Hitting these hardened baseballs can cause damage to the bat whether it is composite or aluminum.
Patrick
Which bat would be better for a batter with a balanced swing: the DeMarini CF6 or the Easton MAKO? I am a sophomore in High School, 5' 9" 140 lbs. C.S.F
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult is a balanced composite model that also features the new D-Fusion handle which helps eliminate almost all vibration during contact. The MAKO will feature an extended sweet spot and one of the most balanced swing weights available.
Justin R.
Will the voodoo overlord feel very similar to the 2013 voodoo weight wise? B
Both the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD (DXVDC) and the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo (DXVDC) in the BBCOR models will be very similar in terms of weight and balance. Both will feature a slightly end loaded swing weight and will be at the -3 length to weight ratio allowed within the BBCOR quidelines.
Patrick
My son is 12 and needs to jump up to a BBCOR bat next fall. He is only 5'1" and weighs 86 pounds, so he needs a super light -3 bat. What do you recommend? Dad
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a very balanced, two-piece bat. It is a great option for a player making the transition to a BBCOR bat.
Kara
I am 5 foot 6 and I weigh about 120 pounds. I am a contact hitter. I was wondering if the CF6 or the S1 would be a better bat. I had a 32 inch bat but I liked the feel of a 33 inch better, which should I get? chris
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S1 BBCOR (BB14S1) would be nice options for a contact hitter of your size. Both models will have comparable durability and pop with their two piece composite construction. Given the BBCOR certification, one will not necessarily "outperform" the other. Your choice would basically come down to which feels better to each individual player. Both options feature top of the line composite technology. As far as the length goes; if the 33 inch felt good while you were swinging it and you didnt lose any bat speed with the larger size, then I would suggest going with the 33 inch. The heavier the bat you use, the more power you will be able to generate from it.
Patrick
What bat has more pop: the CF6 or the Voodoo OVERLORD? Pedro cerrano
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC (Adult) and the Voodoo OVERLORD have similar pop. The OVERLORD has an end loaded swing weight and is better for power hitters. The CF6 has a balanced swing weight and is better for contact hitters.
Jason
How large is this bat's barrel in comparison to the Easton Surge, my old bat? Also, how is the swing weight compared to that of the Surge? Spider
The barrel diameter on the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is going to be the same, 2 5/8" as the Easton Surge. As far as the length of the barrel, I am unable to determine that since we no longer have the Easton Surge in stock to measure.
Kelby
What is the break-in procedure for the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult? DC
the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult will need around 150 to 200 hits on them to perform up to its potential. When breaking in a composite baseball bat, it is important to start off at about 50% power and gradually increase as your swing count rises. It is also important to rotate the bat about a 1/4 inch on every swing. This ensures that your bat gets evenly broken in. You can do this hitting off of a tee or playing soft toss.
Damon
Witch one has more pop the CF6 or the Voodoo Paradox? Alex Baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR (DXVDC) are both going to have a good amount of pop. The Voodoo features an alloy barrel so it will be hotter out of the wrapper than the composite barrel CF6. Once the CF6 is broken in, both bats will have similar amounts of "pop" as they are both BBCOR certified in their performance limitations.
Patrick
I have a lot of power, I felt that the cf5 was more of a contact bat, could this be a power bat? but still be able to rip one up the middle or in the gap? L
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) will incorporate a two-piece hybrid balanced design that will work very well for contact hitters. However, the paradox composite material used will create a bigger, hotter sweet spot that will also allow you to generate some good power and momentum.
Merritt
How many swings do you think it takes to break in the DeMarini CF6? Can I do that by hitting of the tee? Alex Baseball
We recommend 150-200 hits off a batting tee or soft toss for the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC). It"s best to start off at about 40% power, and gradually increase. Also, be sure to rotate the bat a quarter of turn in your hands after every hit.
Kelby
After hitting a couple balls off the tee there were baseball marks on my bat. Can you clean that with a little wet rag? Alex Baseball
Yes, you can use a clean wet rag or sponge to clean the bat of baseball marks. If that doesn't work I also recommend a Mr. Clean magic eraser.
Zach B
I am narrowing down my bat choices and I am deciding whether to choose the Easton MAKO or the DeMarini CF6. I am a contact hitter. Which bat would be the best fit for me? Stretch
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult and the Easton MAKO are both two-piece fully composite bats with balanced swing weights. The MAKO and the CF6 are very comparable in performance and the choice should be made by preference in manufacturer.
Jason
Should I get the XL1 or the CF6? johnny Baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR (BB14X1) would both be excellent options. The difference would come down to whether you prefer the more end-loaded feel of the XL1 or the balanced feel of the CF6. Both will be similar as far as performance and durability.
Patrick
How does this bat compare to the Rawlings Trio in terms of balance? Tebow
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Rawlings TRIO BBCOR (BBTRIO) are very similar in terms of balance and swing weight.
Patrick
Where would the cf6 rank on a swing weight scale from 1-10, 10 being extremely light and 1 being extremely top heavy? Jackson
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) features a balanced swing weight. The weight as far as how heavy it feels is going to vary by player.
Patrick
What bat would be better for a gap hitters the cf6 or the combat wanted chase1812
I would recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) for gap to gap hitters. The two piece full composite design should help add some added power as well.
Jackson
Which is better, the DeMarini CF6 or the DeMarini Voodoo Overlord? DeMarini fanatic
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR (DXVDC) would be nice options. The preference between the two would come down to which material and weight you prefer. The CF6 is a balanced, two-piece, fully composite design. The barrel material will need to be broken in slightly before you will see peak performance. The OVERLORD is an end-loaded, two-piece hybrid design. This means that it features an alloy barrel with a composite handle and the weight of the bat is distributed more towards the barrel of the bat. Comparing the two is difficult given their differences but both will be great products!
Patrick
i play in a salt lake baseball league in utah, and this year it is required to have a bbcor bat. im 14, 5 foot and i weigh 80 lbs im not much of a power hitter. which bat would you recomend for me? the 2014 cf6 or the 2014 voodoo overlord? Dally
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) Adult will be be a two-piece hybrid design and will be perfect for a contact/gap hitter. It will be very balanced, and will create a very smooth swing. The paradox composite material will also create a bigger, hotter sweet spot. If you are not a power hitter, I think this bat would fit your playing style very well.
Merritt
How long is the break in period for this bat? Nikyboy22
We would recommend a break in period of about 150-200 hits with the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult using soft toss or tee work while rotating the barrel head between each swing to give it an even break in.
Patrick
Does this bat ever lose its pop since it is composite? I was told composite keeps getting better when used. What size should I get? I'm 5 foot 6 and weigh 145 pounds. ky
While it is true that composite barrel bats get hotter over the lifespan of the bat due to the breaking-in of the composite materials, the bat will eventually break at some point. The bat will be the hottest it will ever be before breaking because those fibers will be broken down to create more "trampoline effect." Based on your height and weight, we would suggest the 32 inch length of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult bat.
Patrick
Would you reccomend the 2014 Easton S1 or Demarini CF6 for a player that is mostly a doubles hitter? corey
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S1 (BB14S1) would both be nice options. They will be very similar in terms of durability and perfomance. The S1 has a slightly longer barrel for a larger sweet spot. The CF6 has an enhanced connection piece that provides a bit more sting protection. Both models would be ideal for a doubles hitter.
Patrick
What is the difference in the 2013 CF5, the 2014 Vexxum NVA, and the 2014 CF6? jvdemarini19
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a two-piece composite bat. It is more balanced the than the 2013 CF5. It also used d-fusion technology to reduce vibration. The 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS is a two-piece bat with a composite handle and an alloy barrel. Both bats are balanced and designed for a contact hitter.
Kara
I am 13 years old. I am 5' 5" and I am 130 pounds. What length bat should I get if I have to use a drop 3? nick
The length that you should use for this 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) would be a 30 inch.
Kyle
When do you think the cf7 will come out for baseball? I already know the softball bat is out. tjpotter599
The CF7 baseball bat launch date has still not been announced.
Jackson
How would you be able to tell if this bat is broken, is it based on the feel? Brandon
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) being composite will most likely damage from the inside out. So it may be hard to diagnose if anything is wrong. If you think it is defective, I would send it back to DeMarini. Here is their warranty line: 1-800-937-2287.
Brandon
What is the lifespan of this bat? CP
There is no definite lifespan for a particular bat. The length of the lifespan can vary based on the countless ways and situations in which the bat can be used. There are ways to prolong that lifespan such as only using the bat in game situations rather than practice, only allowing one player to use the bat, and avoiding use in cold weather or with yellow dimpled cage balls.
Patrick
I am 14 years old and I'm a contact hitter. I have power when I hit the ball. Will this bat be best suited for me? What length would be best for me? I am 5' 0" and weight 95 lbs? kristian
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would be a great option. I would highly recommend it. It has a nice, balanced feel and high quality materials to give you tons of pop. Based on your height and weight, I would recommend a 31" 28 oz.
Justin R
What is the best BBCOR bat out there? Fred
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is definitely one of the best bats out there. It uses the highest quality composite material, the Paradox composite. This bat also features the D-Fusion handle to reduce almost all vibration during contact.
Justin R.
I am a 16 year old 5'10" 200 lb. player. I can hit for power, but need bat speed. Should I choose the CF6 or the 2014 MAKO? Should I get the 32" or 33"? Andrew
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 33" model. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and Easton MAKO are two of the lightest swinging BBCOR bats on the market and both feature balanced swing weights. The CF6 and MAKO both help players increase their swing speeds.
Jason
If I am a contact hitter but I want power, should I get this bat or something else? Also, I have been told many things about what length I should get. I am 6 foot 3 and I weigh 160 pounds. What size should I get? Wildthing
Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 33 inch bat. The composite design and the flex in the swing of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would be a good option to help a contact hitter improve bat speed at the point of contact to enable them to produce more power. Once broken in, the CF6 will have a good deal of pop and should be a great option to help you get more power out of the bat.
Patrick
Based on overall performance, would you suggest the new CF6 or the new Vexxum? i am contact hitter with some power. Buck
I would go with the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) this would be a great bat. You could not go wrong with either bat here.
Kyle
For a contact hitter, would you suggest the Marucci Black, or the CF6? Dinger
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Marucci Black BBCOR (MCBB14) are both two-piece bats that are suited for a contact hitter. The Marucci Black will have a longer barrel that gives it a slightly end loaded feel compared to the CF6.
Kara
For a contact hitter who wants to improve bat speed and create more power which is better the DeMarini CF6 or the Louisville Slugger Attack ? Jake
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Louisville Slugger Attack BBCOR (BBAT14-RR) would both be very good bats for a contact hitter. They are both very similar in construction. The 2014 Louisville Slugger Attack BBCOR (BBAT14-RR) is a three piece bat while the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a two piece bat.
Kyle
i am 5"1 100 pounds and a contact hitter would you recommend this bat if so what size johnny baseball
I would recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) for a contact hitter because of its low M.O.I. and balance swing weight. Based on the information you provided I would recommend a 30" 27 oz. in the DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC).
Zach
Is this a good bat for power hitters? Matt
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) is a great fit for any hitter that prefers a balanced swing weight for more bat head speed.
Bobby
Do you have to break-in this bat? Or can you use it straight out of the box? Bill13
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) will require a break-in. We recommend around 150 swings off the tee or soft toss. Make sure you rotate the barrel a quarter of an inch every 15-20 swings to help fully break-in the composite fibers throughout the bat.
John
Is this bat approved for babe ruth? Dalton
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is approved for Babe Ruth play since it is a composite barrel bat that is BBCOR certified.
Bobby
Does it have a huge sweet spot? I'm 5'10", 190 lbs., what bat what length would you recommend? clayton 14
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC). The CF6 features the D-Fusion handle, which actually extends the sweet spot through the entire barrel, so it will have a decently sized sweet spot.
Tessa L.
What would be better for a power hitter this or the XL1? Thanks. Rich
Typically we see power hitter preferring an end loaded model over a balanced model. So the Easton XL1 would be a better choice than the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC).
Kelby
I'm switching to BBCOR. Should I get this or the 31" 28 oz. 2014 DeMarini Vexxum? Baseball2
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR (DXVXC) are both very high performing bats. Both are two-piece bats, designed for a contact hitter. The Vexxum is game ready and the CF6 will require a break-in period.
Kara
I am 5 foot 8 and weigh 170 pounds. Is a 33 inch 30 ounce bat a good choice for me? mike
A 33 inch size of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would be in the size range we would recommend for the average player of your size but would be a bit heavier than your 32 inch model.
Patrick
I'm 6' tall and I weigh 130lbs. What bat size would you recommend for BBCOR? Brawley Boy
We would recommend a 32" in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) for a player with your height and weight.
John
I'm 4 foot 8 and weigh about 85 pounds. What bat size should I get? A-A-Ron
Based on your height and weight I would recommend a 29" length in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC).
Zach
I'm 5'6", and around 165 lbs. What size bat should I get? It must be a -3. bigpapi
Based on your approximate height and weight, the suggested size we would recommend would be a 32/29 in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC). This model would be perfect if you are a contact hitter. The balanced, two-piece structure will provide you with extra flex, and will be very easy to swing.
Merritt
I'm 5'6", 170 lbs, and a power hitter. Would you recommend this, or the Easton XL1? homerunhitter
Based on your playing style, I would suggest taking a closer look at the 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR: (BB14X1). This model will be slightly end-loaded, and generally this feature is preferred by power players. The 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR: (BB14X1) will also have an extra long barrel, and will have a massive sweet spot as well. Based on your style of play, this model would fit you very well.
Merritt
Does this bat have a warranty? noah
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) comes with a 12 month manufacturer warranty.
Jason
I'm a hitter that hits for power plus has a high average. I was wondering if you would recommend this bat for me? I'm 5'9 1/2 and 175 pounds. Greg
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) is going to be top of the line for performance. It will have a massive sweet spot and you will be able to get some very good power from the Paradox Composite material. This model is an excellent choice to take a look at, and the quality is almost unmatched.
Merritt
I am 5'11" 160 lbs. I can hit for both contact and power. Should I get the Easton MAKO or this bat? What bat size would you recommend? Smackcity97
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the Easton MAKO are both top of the line bats and preform similarly. They are both two-piece composite designs with balanced swing weights. It is typically best to stick with the manufacturer you have had the most success with in the past. Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" bat.
Jason
What would you suggest for a high average, contact hitter between the CF6 or S1? Alec
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S1 BBCOR (BB14S1) would be great options. They are both light swinging, balanced, two-piece composite designs that are ideal for a contact hitter. The preference between the two would come down to which brand you prefer overall because they are both top of the line.
Patrick
I am 6'4" 250 lbs. I'm a very good hitter both for contact and for power. I can also be a pretty clutch hitter. Is this a good bat for me to use? Big T
The CF6 is a great bat for any type of hitter. The Paradox composite provides the bat with a massive sweet spot and the D-Fusion handle helps eliminate vibration. Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 34" model in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC).
Jason
I'm 5'4, 112 lbs. heading into middle school. I am a power hitter and want a 31 inch bat. Would you recommend this or the CF5? CDB
I would go with the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC). CF6 (DXCFC) has a bigger sweet spot with the Paradox composite and the D-Fusion handle. According to your height and weight I would recommend a 30" length in the DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC).
Zach
I am going into 9th grade. I weigh 180 pounds and I am 5 foot 8. I am a power hitter. What bat should I get? the bomb
Based on your height and weight we would suggest a 32 inch bat. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would be a great option for you. The two-piece composite design is very well balanced and is extremely high performing. The enhanced connection piece allows for less sting and vibration which will allow you to confidently swing away without worrying about getting jammed.
Patrick
I'm 5'6" 105 lbs. and going into 7th grade. Should I get the DeMarini Voodoo Paradox 31" 18 oz. bat. Or the Easton MAKO big barrel? beastboy
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC), Voodoo Paradox, and Easton MAKO would all be great choices for a hitter at your age. The CF6 and MAKO will have lighter swing weights and feel more balanced compared to the Voodoo Paradox.
Brandon
What size would you recommend for a high school junior who is 5' 7" and 155 lbs? Zach
Based on the player's height and weight, we would recommend the 32" model of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC).
Mac
Which bat should i choose between the cf6, attack, and rip it air elite. I am a contact hitter who can hit for decent power. Hotwheels_19
Those are all great choices for you. However, I would recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) for you as it is the most balanced model. This will give you greater bat speed and control.
Bobby
When will the new line of bats be released for DeMarini? hotwheels_19
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is currently available. The 2015 DeMarini BBCOR bat line will be released on 9/1/2015.
Brandon
My son is 6'2" and 180 pounds. The 34" DeMarini BBCOR CF5 I got him last year seems too long. Which size is the right length? Carly
Based on his approximate height and weight, the size I would suggest in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) would be a 33".
Merritt
Do you need to break this bat in? johnny baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would benefit from a break in period of about 150-200 hits of soft toss or tee work while rotating the barrel of the bat about a quarter turn per hit.
Patrick
How does the weight distribution compare to the 2013 CF5? ...
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) will be just as or even more balanced than the 2013 CF5 model.
Brandon
My son is 5 foot 10 and weighs 150 pounds. He just turned 15. He currently swings the 5150 in a 32 inch 29 ounce size. Any suggestions with the CF6? Mike
Based on your players height and weight we would suggest the same 32 inch size in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC). It will be similarly balanced but will have more flex to it which can help increase bat speed.
Patrick
How does the 2014 CF6 compare to the 2014 Marucci Elite in overall performance? JT
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Marucci Elite BBCOR (MCBE14) would perform to similar levels given that they are BBCOR restricted bats. The major difference would be the feel of the bat. The CF6 will be a two-piece composite that would flex a bit more than the hybrid Marucci Elite.
Patrick
My son plays 13u and is 5'11 and 150 lbs. He has used the CF4, 32" -8 the last 2 seasons at 11u and 12u with HUGE success but noticing signs of the bat losing steam (as expected). What bat and size do you recommend next? I am considering CF6 or Easton XL1. Which has the longer barrel and sweetspot? BobK
If your son will be moving to a BBCOR bat, I would suggest a 32" for a player his size. The Easton XL1 will provide a larger barrel and sweet spot than the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFXC).
Kelby
I'm about 4'11" and weigh 90 pounds. What BBCOR length and weight do you suggest I use? PV
Based on your approximate height and weight, I would suggest 29" in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC). However, a 30" would also work for you as well.
Merritt
Are all of the CF6 bats composite? johnny baseball
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is all composite. The same can be said about every other DeMarini CF6 bat.
Marcus
I'm 5'7" and 107 lbs. I don't know if I should choose the DeMarini Overlord or the CF6 32" 29 oz. What do you think? ss captain
If you are more of a power hitter, I would probably suggest going with the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR: (DXVDC). The end-load featured on this model is generally preferred by players who can generate power easily. If you are more of a contact hitter, I would probably suggest going for the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC), which will be more balanced.
Merritt
Is the CF6 fully composite? Do you have to break the bat in? krobertd
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is a two-piece fully composite bat that would benefit most from a break-in period of about 150 to 200 swings of soft toss or tee work while rotating the bat after every hit about a quarter turn. This will ensure an even break-in for the bat.
Patrick
I am 14, 5'8" and I weigh 150 lbs. I have strength and quick hands. Would the CF6 or the OVERLORD be a better bat? jared
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) has a balanced swing weight and is a great bat for any player. However, the OVERLORD has an end loaded swing weight that you would benefit from with your strength and quick hands. The OVERLORD would be the better option for you to help increase your power. Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" bat.
Jason
I am a 5 foot 3 player and I weigh 119 pounds. What size CF6 would you recommend? Bombhitter82
Based on your height and weight, we would recommend the 30 inch size of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC).
Patrick
Does this bat meet the BBCOR certification? greg
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) will meet the BBCOR certification requirements, and will have the .50 stamp on the barrel as well.
Merritt
I am 5 foot 6 and weigh 100 pounds. Which bat would be better for me, the DeMarini CF6 or the DeMarini NVS? Also, what size should I get? The bomb
Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 30 inch bat. Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR (DXVXC) would be good options. The main difference would be whether you prefer a composite or alloy barrel.
Patrick
I'm 14, 6'1 and weigh 195 lbs. Which bat would be good for me: the CF6, OVERLORD, or XL1?. alec
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" bat. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) has a balanced swing weight and is preferred by contact hitters. The OVERLORD and XL1 have end loaded swing weights and tend to be better for power hitters. We typically suggest the player sticks with the manufacturer they have had the most success with in the past.
Jason
Is the -10 all composite, or is it just the Handle that is? Conman
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC), like all CF6 bats, is a fully composite bat. The CF6 has a composite handle and a composite barrel.
Jason
Which bat is better for hitting line drives into the outfield: the new BBCOR DeMarini CF6 or the new BBCOR DeMarini OVERLORD Voodoo? Dylan
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR would be exceptional for line drive hitting. The OVERLORD will have more of a barrel heavy feel while the CF6 will feel more balanced. The CF6 will be better equipped to give higher bat speeds.
Brandon
Is there a difference between the CF5 BBCOR and CF6 BBCOR? If so, what is it? Daniel
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) will feature DeMarini's new D-Fusion Handle Technology. It eliminates vibration and extends the sweet spot through the entire barrel. Also, it will feature a newer Paradox composite material and a newly designed RCK knob. The older CF5 model will not have these.
Brandon
I am 5 foot 11 and weigh 195 pounds. I am a power hitter and a contact hitter. What size would recommend? I am trying to decide between the DeMarini Voodoo Overlord or CF6. Andy
Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 33 inch bat. Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR (DXVDC) would be great options but they are very different. The preference would come down to which style you like more. The CF6 is a two-piece composite design that is balanced that would allow for some added swing speed. The OVERLORD is a two-piece hybrid that would be more end-loaded which would make it tougher to swing faster but if you can swing it at a similar speed it may lead to more power.
Patrick
How much more pop does this bat have over the CF5? mr baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) will incorporate a slightly different type of composite material in its barrel to help boost performance. The paradox composite used in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) is designed to help extend the sweet spot and enhance the performance. It's hard to say how much better the pop will be, however, the pop will be a little hotter with the new paradox material.
Merritt
I understand that both this bat and the Easton S1 are designed to be light weight bats. In general, which bat has higher performance? Baseball
In terms of performance, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S1 (BB14S1) will be very similar. Due to performance restrictions based on the rules, one bat will not be capable of achieving higher batted ball speeds than the other if the same swing is put on it. What you end up paying for is the lifespan of the peak performance and the durability. In this case, both bats will be similar in those categories.
Patrick
I am 14 and 5'6 155 pound and I am more of a contact/leadoff type of hitter with quick hands. Which bat would be better for me cf6 or overlord? DiamondStealer
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is going to be a better bat for a contact hitter like yourself. With its balanced feel it will be directed more towards a contact hitter.
Cooper
im 14 about be playing varsity next year would this bat or the mako be best for me?i am 5'10 151 mr baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) Adult and the Easton MAKO are both two-piece fully composite bats with balanced swing weights. The MAKO and the CF6 are very comparable in performance and the choice should be made by preference in manufacturer. Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 32" bat.
Tessa
When will the 2015 DeMarini bats be released? clayton
We are expecting the new lineup of the DeMarini baseball bats in September of this year.
Patrick
Is this bat more balanced than the XL1? My kid is 12, and I was wondering, is this a better bat for him than the Easton XL1? Bba
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) will be very balanced. This model will incorporate a similar two-piece composite structure featured in the 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR: (BB14X1). The biggest difference will be the weight distribution. If the player's game is more representative of a contact player I would probably recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC).
Merritt
What do you recommend for a contact hitter that wants a little more pop/power and speed: the Easton XL1, Easton MAKO, or the DeMarini CF6? Angel
If you are more of contact hitter, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) or the Easton MAKO (BB14MK) may be the better options to choose from, due to the balanced swing weight. A balanced bat will be easier to work on bat speed and bat control, which can then translate to more power/pop. The Easton XL1 is end loaded, so it is generally preferred by a stronger power hitter, who can generate great bat speed.
Tessa
Does this bat have the potential to put a ball over the fence? I like the OVERLORD because I can swing it with no problem. I'm interested in the CF6 because I want to increase my bat speed. Joe
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR: (DXCFC) will be very high performing. The Paradox composite material will provide a bigger, hotter sweet spot. The balanced design will also allow you to swing through very easily, generating a faster bat speed. This model has been extremely popular, highly rated, and will be top of the line. Therefore, you will be able to generate a substantial amount of power with this model.
Merritt
Will you guys have this bat in a 33"? Noah
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) have been discontinued so we will not be getting any more in. The reason they have been discontinued is because the 2015 models will be coming out in the fall.
Cooper
What does it mean to break-in a bat? Why is that necessary? MC
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) requires a break-in period because it has a composite barrel. We recommend a break-in for any composite barrel bats because the composite fibers are tightly wrapped around the barrel. Once the fibers are broken in and loosen up you will see more spring off the bat. Think of the composite fibers like a trampoline. When you first get the trampoline the fibers are pretty tight but once you have been jumping on it for a while it loosens up and you will see more spring in the air when you are jumping.
John
What are the pros and cons of the CF6 versus the Vexxum NVS? What is the reason for the price difference? MC
Both of these models will have a similar two-piece construction, however, the materials and technology will be very different. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) will incorporate a full composite design, whereas the 2014 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXVXC) features an alloy barrel and composite handle. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) will also have added technology to boost performance. The D-Fusion Handle Technology will help expand the sweet spot and eliminate vibrations. Overall, the material and technology will be the biggest influence in the price difference. Both models have been very popular, and will have a high performance level.
Merritt
I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 130 pounds. What size would be good for me? baseball man
Based on your height and weight we would suggest a 31 inch size of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Patrick
Is this bat legal for Junior League? that guy
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) would be legal for the Junior League division of Little League.
Kelby
I am 5 foot 2 and weigh 113 pounds. What size bat should I get? Jeff
Based on your height and weight we would suggest a 30 inch size of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Patrick
As a experienced Demarini buyer i loved the cf4 but i would like to know the difference between the cf4 and cf6 johnny baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) has a higher quality paradox composite and d-fusion handle technology that extends the sweet spot through the entire barrel.
Damon
I am 4'11 and 75 pounds. what size would you recommend me? me
Based on results from our Bat Coach (http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/), we recommend a 30" 28 oz. 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) for a player with your height and weight.
Sean
I'm 5-7 120 pounds what size would you recommend? johnny baseball
For someone your size I would probably recommend either a 32" or a 33" in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC). Either of those should be good for someone like yourself.
Cooper
Which bat feels lighter; this bat or Easton S2? hh
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S2 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14S2) will be similarly balanced and will feature the same length to weight ratio so the swing weights will be very similar.
Patrick
I am 5'5", 110 pounds, and more of a contact hitter but I want to hit the ball further. Should I get the 2014 OVERLORD or the CF6? jon ross
Using our Bat Coach, I determined that a 30" would be the best fit for a player your size. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) would be the best fit a contact hitter since it is a very balanced bat. The DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD is going to be slightly end loaded which is typically preferred by power hitters.
Kelby
I have the 2013 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR. The knob on the bat is wiggling, and there is a weird piece of metal sticking out of the bat. Would I be able to send it into DeMarini? What could they do for me? ...
The DeMarini CF5 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) does incorporate a 12 month manufacturers warranty. Therefore, if you are having problems with the model, DeMarini would be able to get a replacement set up for you. All that you will need to do is have a copy of your receipt available, and give DeMarini a call at 800-937-2287.
Merritt
How long can you use the CF6 before it dies? Alex Baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) does not have a set lifespan. There are too many factors that go into the use of the bat to be able to estimate the time period it would perform for. It does feature a full 12 month warranty through DeMarini though.
Patrick
Is this bat legal for high school ball? big country
Yes. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is BBCOR certified which is required for high school.
Damon
Is there two different models of this bat for baseball? danthebuc
No, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) only has this one model. The Voodoo however, does have two models in the Voodoo Paradox and the Voodoo OVERLORD.
Cooper
I am 5'2" and 105 lbs. What size bat should I use? Also, for a contact hitter like myself, which bat would you recommend? The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR or the Easton S1 BBCOR? TheKidd
For someone your size I would recommend either a 31" or a 32" bat. As for what bat I would recommend, both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton S1 would be good options for you. They are both very balanced bats which is recommend for a contact hitter like yourself.
Cooper
This year will be my first year playing on a 90 foot diamond. When I played on the 60 foot diamond with a 200 foot fence, I led my league in home runs. I was a power hitter on a 200 foot fence but now I am going to a 350 foot fence so I don't think I will still be that much of a power hitter. Do you recommend the CF6 or Voodoo Overlord? baseballllllllllll
Whether or not you are a power hitter would have less to do with the size of the field and more to do with your swing speed and strength. If you do have more of a power hitter style swing, the more end-loaded style of the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) may allow you to get a bit more power. However, the balanced design of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) would be a bit easier to swing faster which can benefit both power and contact hitters.
Patrick
I am around 5 foot 8 and weigh 125 pounds. I am debating between the CF6 or the Voodoo Overlord. I am a hitter that is consistent, but sometimes I am a power hitter. I have to use BBCOR because I am an incoming freshman. What bat would you recommend? Matt
If this is your first time using the heavier BBCOR style bats, I would probably recommend going with the more balanced 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC). The balanced bat would be easier to swing and generate bat speed with than the more end-loaded 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC).
Patrick
I'm 6' and 200 lbs. I am more of a power hitter. What would be a good bat for me to use? This is my second year of high school baseball. Cole B.
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) has a balanced swing weight and is typically better for contact hitters. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) is a slightly better bat for power hitters because of the end loaded swing weight. Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" model.
Jason
I'm 5'10" and 145 lbs. Would this bat be good to use for my first year of ball in high school? jumpjacks
Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) is a very high quality model and will be an excellent choice for a contact-hitter. It will be very light weight, and easy to generate a fast bat speed.
Merritt
What size you think I should get based on my height and weight? I am 5 foot 10 and weigh 145 pounds. jumpjacks
Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 32 inch size of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Patrick
What is the better option for a contact hitter that already has solid bat speed and decent power? CF6 or Mako? My son is 5'5" and 13 years old. He will be playing 14U this fall and next year. What length bat should he use? dad
Based on the player's age, the average length suggested would be 32". As for the model, both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) and 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat: (BB14MK) will be high performing. They will also be very similar in weight distribution, and structure. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: (DXCFC) will incorporate D-Fusion handle technology to help expand the sweet spot and reduce vibrations. Ultimately, it will have to come down to player preference. Both models are very similar, and will fit his playing style extremely well.
Merritt
How would the swing weight and balance compare to 2013 Rawlings 5150? keptin merica
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is going to be slightly more balanced compared to the 2013 Rawlings 5150.
Cooper
I am looking for a bat for my 12 year old son. He is 5 feet tall and weighs 85 pounds. He will be playing 13u AAU ball this fall. Can you please advise of a bat? ed
Based on your sons height and weight, we would suggest a 30 inch bat. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) would be a little heavy for what we would recommend for his age and size. However, the -8 length to weight ratio version of the CF6 which is the 2014 DeMarini CF6 Senior League Baseball Bat (DXCFR) would be a nice choice.
Patrick
My 13 year old is 5'10" and weighs 215 lbs. He is lean and strong. He will be in 8th grade next year. I am looking at the CF6 33" 30 oz. Would this be a good fit or should I stick with the 32-29? Lance
Based on his height and weight, we recommend moving up to a 33" model in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Jason
I am 5" and I am a contact hitter. This year I am moving to BBCOR. Would the CF6 or the Easton S1 be a better match for me, if I am looking for a light swinging bat that still has a lot of pop? Legend11
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the Easton S1 are high performance models from their respective manufacturer's. They also feature a similar overall construction, as they both have a balanced swing weight and a two-piece fully composite design. They will also feature the same amount of pop since they both have to meet the .50 BPF BBCOR standard. Ultimately, it will be a matter of brand preference.
Tessa
I am 5 foot 3 and 132 pounds and was wondering what size bat I should use? bestie 23
We would recommend a 31" in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) for a player with your height and weight.
John
does the demarini cf6 have more pop than the easton xl1 jbill14
Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14X1) are two-piece composite bats with great pop. The XL1 has a longer barrel which expands the sweet spot and the CF6 has D-Fusion handle technology that also expands the sweet spot throughout the barrel.
Damon
I'm 16, 126 pounds, and 6 feet tall. What would the best size of bat be for me? Judd
Based on your height and weight, we would recommend a 32" model of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) for you.
Mac
I am going into high school this year. I am 6' tall and 150 lbs. I swing a 33" BBCOR Easton MAKO currently. How does this compare and differ? kbowers32
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will be designed similarly when being compared to the Easton MAKO. Both are fully composite designs and will swing very balanced. The MAKO will provide a longer barrel length. The CF6 will feature a D-Fusion handle to help stop hand sting and eliminate vibration for the hitter. Either would be a perfect choice!
Brandon
Would this bat be good for a power hitter? I don't like the feel of end loaded bats. Ds Baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFC) would be suitable for a power hitter. The two piece, balanced design is aimed towards contact hitter but will still perform great for a power hitter.
Kelby
I am 14, 140 lbs, and 5'5". What size would you recommend? dag15

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) features a balanced swing weight, which is generally preferred by contact hitters.

Using our Bat Coach, I determined that a 31" bat would be the best fit for a player your size.
Kelby
How does this compare to other BBCOR bats? Baseball
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will perform up to BBCOR safety standards and would challenge any BBCOR model for performance. It is one of the better balanced BBCOR bats and has superior sting and vibration protection that set it apart as a top of the line model.
Patrick
I am 16 years old and I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 150 pounds. I swing a 31 inch 28 ounce CF5 and I was wondering if I should move up to a 32 inch 29 ounce? Also, what should I get between a CF6 or an S1 for a contact hitter? Brandon D.
Based on your height and weight I would think that moving up to a 32 inch bat would be a reasonable next step. Both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14MK) are great options for contact hitters. They are designed very similarly. Preference between the two would come down to which brand you prefer.
Patrick
Is the 34/31 legal? I know some of the 34" failed the BBCOR test. berryhill18
The 34" 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is completely legal and has not been outlawed.
Bobby
Would the Voodoo or CF6 feel like it has more pop? tanner
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the Voodoo have equal amount of pop. It really depends on what type of hitter you are to determine which bat is the best fit for you. The CF6 has a balanced swing weight and is typically better for contact hitters. The Voodoo has an end loaded swing weight and is typically better for power hitters.
Jason
We have purchased DeMarini bats that are listed as -13, -11, and -10. In all cases the actual weight is about 2 oz. higher, when put on a scale. Is this the case with their BBCOR bats as well? John
No, I have never had an issue or heard of this problem before. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will be the weight you select. If you have had any issues with bat weight, I would suggest calling the bat maker, DeMarini, at this number: 1-800-937-2287. They may be able to answer your question as to what is going on.
Brandon
What are the differences between the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo Overlord? TheRealJC
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) are extremely different in terms of design. The CF6 is a two-piece fully composite design that is well balanced. The Voodoo OVERLORD is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and a composite handle that has an end-loaded feel to it.
Patrick
I am looking for a bat that has a lot of pop and a balanced swing feel. Would you recommend the 2014 CF6 or the CAT 6? sweg master
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2015 CAT 6 would both be really great selections. The CAT 6 will be 100% alloy and have a large sweet spot. The CF6 will be 100% composite. Both bats will feel very light and balanced during the swing.
Brandon
Is this bat more similar to the Easton MAKO or S1? dat kid
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR (DXCFC) is similar to both the MAKO and the S1. It will have similar balance to the MAKO but the barrel length will be closer to the S1.
John H
Is the CF6 the stiffest full composite bat? robs
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a fairly stiff two-piece fully composite bat. It is probably the stiffest two-piece composite bat on the market, because of the D-Fusion handle. However, there are one-piece composite bats that are stiffer.
Jason
What alloy barrel bats would give the same balanced feel and similar performance as a CF6? Brianz
The DeMarini Vexxum and Easton S2 are balanced similarly to the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC). The Vexxum and S2 will also perform similarly.
Jason
Whats the difference of the DeMarini CF6 and the CF7? Besides the price. gusmackerman
The DeMarini CF7 features the D-Fusion FT handle, which not only helps to dampen vibration and sting as well as extends the sweet spot on the barrel (as seen in the CF6 models), but it also helps the bat have a stiffer feel on contact. The D-Fusion FT handle helps to redirect the energy that would have been lost in the handle back into the barrel as well.
Tessa
I am 5'10" and I weigh 170 lbs. What size should I use? Big Rich
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" model in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Jason
What size bat should I use if I am 11 years old 4 feet 10 inches tall and weigh 93 pounds? Falatongless
Based on your height and weight, we would suggest a 30 inch bat. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) would be a bit heavy for your age and size and if you are able to use it we would probably recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 Senior League Baseball Bat (DXCFR) instead.
Patrick
I am 5'11" and 125 lbs. What length of bat should I swing? JTD27
The best size in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will be a 32" or 33". To keep your bat speed up, a 32" may work the best.
Brandon
I'm trying to decide between the CF6 and the COMBAT B4 Portent. Which would you recommend? Joe
Both models are fully 100% composite and very balanced in swing weight. Either bat will be a very high quality model. The customer reviews are higher on the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Brandon
I'm 5'6 and 115 pounds. What size bat should I use? fddd
We would recommend the 30" for your height and weight in the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
John
I'm 6 foot 4 and weigh 205 pounds. What size bat should I use? Train
Based on your height and weight we would suggest a 34 inch model of the 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Frankie
I'm 5"10 and weigh 199 pounds. Would the CF6 be a good fit for me? nick
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a very high-performing bat. It features a two-piece fully composite design with a well-balanced swing weight fitting for any type of hitter. We would suggest the 33" 30 oz. model based on your size.
Tom
I am 13, 5 foot, and weigh 100 pounds: which size CF6 do I need? Hillz
Based on your height and weight, our Bat Coach recommends a 29" 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC).
Tessa
What is the difference between this bat and the 2014 OVERLORD? nick
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a two-piece fully composite bat with a balanced swing weight. The 2014 OVERLORD is a two-piece hybrid with an alloy barrel, composite handle, and an end loaded swing weight. Typically, the CF6 is better for contact hitters and the OVERLORD is better for power hitters.
Jason
I am 14 years old, 120 lbs and 5'6". I am mostly a contact hitter. Would you recommend this bat for me? If so what size? jaxbutler8
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) has a two-piece design with a balanced swing weight and is a terrific bat for a contact hitter. Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 31" model.
Jason
I have a 15 year old Step Son who is about 6'0" around 160lbs he is a freshman in high school. He just started lifting weights and has never really hit for power but I think with the weight room he could hit for power. Could he use the 34" bat? He had been using a 33" but I really think he needs to go up to the 34" Also I am deciding between The 2015 Voodoo, 2014 CF6 and the 2015 Vexxum what would you recommend? The StepDad
Using our Bat Coach, we recommend a 33" based on your son's size, but he could step up to a 34" if he is comfortable with it and continues to get stronger. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a two piece composite bat with a balanced swing weight. Since the CF6 is a composite bat it will require a break in period to reach top performance. The 2015 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD FT BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) is a two piece hybrid bat with an end loaded swing weight, which is recommended for power hitters. The 2015 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVXC) is a two piece hybrid bat with the lowest MOI and the most balanced swing weight out of the three bats you have selected.
Tom
I'm a freshman in high school and 14 years old. I am 6'1 170 pounds and I am a contact/power hitter. I used a 33'30 BBCOR 2014 MAKO. What's the difference between this bat and the MAKO and does this bat fit my size? Coco32
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2014 MAKO BBCOR will be extremely similar offerings from both manufacturers. Both bats will be constructed as two-piece, fully composite bats. Also, both the CF6 and MAKO will have extended barrels, but a balanced swing weight. Despite the close similarities, the CF6 does offer a unique D-Fusion handle that eliminates vibration and helps extend the sweet spot in the barrel. For you, considering your height and weight, I would recommend using a 33"/30oz CF6 model.
Ben
I am comparing the 2014 DeMarini BBCOR CF6 to the Boombah Cannon SSI Alloy/XRT Composite Multi PC BBCOR for my freshman son. Which one would you recommend? Jmoon79
I am not too familiar with the BOOMBAH CANNON (SS1 ALLOY/XRT COMPOSITE MULTI PC) but it appears to be a balanced, hybrid BBCOR design. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will be similarly balanced but will feature a composite barrel which tends to perform at a high level for a longer period. Both seem like nice options but the CF6 may last a bit longer at a peak performance level.
Patrick
Will this bat flex when you swing? I have had that problem with DeMarini bats in the past. TyRy
The 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will flex a bit due to its two-piece design. This is an intended design feature that allows the bat to have a whipping motion through the zone which can help lead to increased bat speed.
Patrick
my son is a 7th grader and its his first time having to move to a drop 3. he is tall and slim 5'8 108lbs thing is hes growing so fast and id like to make the bat at least a couple years so wondering what you would recomend want him to be able to swing it but have a feeling withen a year he'll be 6feet. me and my husband are very tall. any suggestions would be so helpful thank you!! sarah
For the size of your son it will be really tough to get a bat that will work for the next couple years. My best recommendation would be to go with a 31" 2014 DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) for long term use, but there is a risk of it being too heavy right now. A 30" would be better for immediate use, but would not provide the long term use that you would like just due to your son outgrowing it.
Jake
Is this bat balanced like the 2013 CF5 BBCOR or is it end-loaded? A
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a balanced design.
Patrick
I have a son and he is a freshman in high school. He is about to buy his 1st bat. What would you recommend? He is about 6'0" and 175 lbs. step dad
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a two piece composite design, which is recommended for contact hitters. I think it would be a good bat for your son to start with. Based on his size, I would recommend using a 33" model.
Tom
Why is the 34 inch bat nearly half the price? Is it not as good or productive as the shorter models? georgie boy
The pricing on the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is based on the cost from the manufacturer. Often, the manufacturer will offer better pricing on the 34 inch models because they are less commonly purchased because only larger players with good strength would require that size. Because we can get them for a lower price, we pass the savings on to the customers who need that size.
Patrick
Does this bat have a light swing weight? koby
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is a balanced bat, so it is going to naturally have a lighter swing weight than an end-loaded bat would.
Liz
I am a 6'3 18 year old player who is a contact-power hitter with extremely high bat speed. I am using a 2013 voodoo right now and have had a lot of success with it, but its just time for something new. What bat and size would you recommend? the wall
Based on the information you provided, I would suggest going with a 33" or 34" bat. The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is one of our top selling bats and would be a ideal for a contact hitter. The CF6 is a two-piece fully composite designed bat that features a huge sweet spot, while still having a balanced weight distribution.
Liz
Does it have to be a certain temperature outside to hit with this bat? Teague
We recommend not hitting with the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) in temperatures below 55 degrees. At that point, the baseball can condense and become harder which can damage the bat.
Patrick

The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is approved for high-school and collegiate play in the state of Illinois.
Joe
Is this bat a smooth implement? ethan

Can this bat be used for Pony baseball? ethan

What is the most evenly balanced bat? c boys
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is one of the more evenly balanced models available today. Honestly, any of the CF Series by DeMarini, the Rawlings 5150 and VELO models, and the Easton Speed Brigade Series will all be very similar in terms of balance.
Joe
I am trying to decide between the CF6 and the Marucci Cat 6, which would you recommend? parker
Both the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) and the 2015 Marucci CAT 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCBC614) are nice options. Which one you should get would come down to what design features you prefer. The CF6 is a two-piece composite design which will have a bit more flex for a bit more bat speed and the composite material tends to keep its high performance level a bit longer. The Cat 6 is a single-piece alloy so it will flex less which will offer more control over the bat. It will also be hot out of the wrapper whereas the CF6 will need a brief break-in period.
Patrick
How does this bat compare to the Easton S1? Adam
The 2015 Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15S1) and the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) compare very similarly. They have similar design features such as a balanced, two-piece composite design with an advanced connection points to help reduce sting and vibration. Preference between the two would come down to which brand or style you like better.
Patrick
We have a 5'1" 100 lbs 13 year old boy who wants a 31" 28 oz. model of the CF6. What are some comparable models for under $200? Baseball Mom
Unfortunately, we don't currently have the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) in stock in the 31" 28 oz. model. We won't have another two piece composite model in that size at that price point, but you could consider the 2015 DeMarini Vexxum NVS BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVXC) in a two-piece hybrid model with a balanced swing weight as well as the Marucci Black BBCOR Baseball Bat (MCBB14) in a two-piece hybrid model with a balanced swing weight as well.
Joe
Can I get this in a 32" 29 oz.? Nathan
Unfortunately, we no longer have the DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) in a 32" 29 oz. in stock.
Tom
Is this bat more balanced than the Rawlings 5150 2014? DAVID
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) will have a slightly more balanced feel than the Rawlings 5150 Alloy BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB513).
Patrick
If you were to use the bat normally to start without turning would it eventually break it in all around? baseball player
The best way to insure that you evenly break-in your DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) is to rotate the bat a quarter turn per hit.
Patrick
I have not been able to find this bat in a 30" 27 oz. model. chayce
The DeMarini CF6 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) was manufactured in a 30" 27 oz. model, however since it was one of the more popular models from last year and has been discontinued, it can be fairly difficult to find. I would recommend looking at the 2015 DeMarini CF7 BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXCFC) in a 30" 27 oz. model.

About the Brand

In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."

In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.

Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.

To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.

In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.

Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.

With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).

In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.

Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.

In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.

More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
