Yes. The DeMarini Composite Wood Bat: DXCDY is approved for Little League.
My son is 10 years old and 55" tall. He currently uses a 29" drop -12 DeMarini and he can crank balls with it. My concern is will he have a hard time getting this bat around because of the extra weight. What are your thoughts?
Yes, the -5 length to weight ratio on the DeMarini Composite Wood Bat: DXCDY Youth may make the bat feel too heavy for him. He should be swinging a -10 size at his age. Around the age of 12-13 a -5 would work better.
How durable is the combination of the wood and the composite handle where they meet?
