Cons:
Rusty
Pros: Outstanding bat, we've got the 30/21 for an 11 year old. Was worried that it may be to heavy for him. Man was I wrong, he hit three home runs in two games last night. Followed by one all the way to the center field fence. Funny thing is when he came to the dug out he looked at me and said, Coach I didnt even try to hit hard.
Cons: During the games I had him lay down a bunt. Not real impressed with it due to the amount of pop the bat has. My son soft bunted down third base side and ball went almost all the way to third.
jake

Pros: This is an amazing bat with great pop. I bought it because my friend has the 2012 voodoo and he let me borrow it and i was creaming it. I bought this because it came in a perfect size and cool graphics. the bend gives it a good trampoline effect and it feels super light. this truly is an amazing baseball bat.
Cons: none at all.

Pros: good pop. one of the better bats out there
Cons: dented easily. not as much pop as the easton xl2.
RawlingsMan13
Pros: great bat, half and half, great pop, cool looking, I'm not a power hitter but I used my fiend's 2013 voodoo -9 and hit 5 hr's over a 250 foot fence out of 6 pitches and I'm only 11

Pros: Tried this bat at demarini demo house with the cf5 and the vexxum and the voodoo was a little heavier then the other ones.
Cons: Its pretty heavy compared to the cf5 and the vexxum
Bombsaway
Pros: son hit a 250 foot bomb over the fence with this bat, great graphics, feels solid, great pop
Cons: it feels a little heavy at first (endloaded) I would practice w it a few days or so before using in a game situation--- it definetely has a different weight distribution than the other popular models
batbaoy
Pros: I love the way the ball pops off the bat and the graphics and images on the bat.
Cons: Nothing
Bungee469
Pros: Hits the ball great. Able to get my bunts down the baseline real good cause of pop.
Cons: For the price, the paint chips way to easy. Only had 2 weeks and it's all chip up and flaking up, not good for such a sick awesome design.
voodoo beast
Pros: Used to be a contact hitter. Just started pony leauge. Used the omen at the beging of the season and it was hard to drive the ball. Now i purchased this bat and I am cranking them into the outfield.
Cons: paint chips. Everyone wants to use my bat!!!!!
Mike

Cons: none
Yort
Pros: Hot bat, lots of pop. good feel.
Cons: My son has cracked 2 (black 1 and Maroon 1) this yr. They will only give you 1 replacement. If you have the money to burn, this is the bat to have!
LSU fan
Pros: Good bat with large sweetspot with lots of pop. More endloaded than some drop 9 bats but good choice for transitioning to a heavier bat for high school.
Cons: none
Macattack
Pros: Graphics. Grip. Great pop!
Cons: Performs as advertised
Mike44
Pros: I got this bat for Christmas and it is great. I have the 2013 CF5 and was comparing it to that. Although, this bat has an aluminum barrel it still has just as much pop as any other bat. It is slightly end loaded so it is great for power hitters.
Cons: It dents in cold weather.
Chad12345678910
Pros: Great pop right off the bat won't need to break in good designs love the end heAvy part of the bat
Cons: None
sinical
Pros: Question....if this is the 2013 version of this bat, how are guys writing reviews and saying their kids hit "bombs" last night when I'm reading thr review in January f 2013????
Cons: Reviews claiming a laser show in January when the bat was just released.
American Made
Pros: I used to think some of the reviews on this bat were exagerated until my 11 yr old son used a 30in 21oz VooDoo in his tournament. His first at bat a triple over the right fielders head. His second at bat another triple lined between left and center field. His third at bat he doubled down the right field line. His last at bat he singled btween short and third. His cousin that was watching told me his second triple was the hardest hit ball of the game. His next game of the tournament he went 3 for four with a double. He was borrowing the bat from a teammate but I have since gone out and bought him his own....Something to be said for an American Made Bat!!!
Cons: Everyone is gonna to want to use it.
RobertsFam
Pros: Last tournament our 12 year old who personally selected this bat, hit a grandslam! Got it all on video and will send it to you guys. Awesome pop off the bat and the graphics are top shelf!
Cons: None
Speedy
Pros: We bought this bat for our 12 year old son, whom weighs only 85 lbs and he absolutely loves it.. He hit 2 solo home runs and 2 grand slams during fall season on 250 ft fields. Looking forward for more to come this spring season!!!
Cons: NONE
Short stack
Pros: This bat is just absolutley amazing I got it just out of the wrapper and I was already crushing the ball! This bat gives you the upper hand of just crushing the ball huge sweet spot! I recommend this bat to anyone
Cons: End weighted
GK
Pros: Let me start by saying that I have spent a lot of money on bats over the last couple seasons. I have purchased the Combat B3 -12, 2012 CF5 -10, 2011 Easton Omen -10, 2011 Easton Rival -10, and other bats in the mid price range. This bat has the most pop out of the wrapper I have seen by far, even over the composite models after "break-in". I have no stories of monster homeruns, as we have only done cage work with it so far. But the difference is noticeable. My son is a good size 11 year old, about 5'6" and 130lbs. We purchased the 31" 22oz, if you are a parent trying to decide on how to spend your hard earned money on a bat I certainly would suggest this bat, but consider giving up an inch in length for a little lighter bat. It swings a little heavier than a balanced 22 oz bat due to the end load. My son has adjusted well to the weight and has a lot of confidence with this bat. I hope this review has helped anyone that is like me and has a hard time believing reviews.
Cons: None at all.

Ms
Pros: I just got this bat for my son. He has a great compact swing and hits the ball like there is no tomorrow. Sweet pop too.
Cons: It wasn't created earlier.
sexybeast
Pros: This bat is the best ever. It has the most pop I've ever used. It's a sexy beast and very awesome.
Cons: None.
Baseballer3
Pros: Love this bat. I got the 30 21. It is nice and balanced. I have hit three homers with it.
Cons: NONE
TBONE
Pros: LOVE THE POP, My son can now hit to the outfield!!!! graphics are amazing!!! Lots of comments on the hit!!!
Cons:
Lammypie
Pros: Nice graphics
Cons: My son used it at practice for the first time today. Perhaps he's not comparing "apples to apples" as he's used composite bats for a while. He notes this bat does not compare to balls hit off of his previous DeMarini CF4, Easton Speed or current Louisville Slugger Triton. Does not feel it has the same amount of pop as his composite bats.
MV All-Star
Pros: This bat is unbelievable, I hit the ball at least 20 ft further each time I make contact.
Cons: Nothing.
JDog
Pros: Best bat ever. Never stings. Hit a 300 foot shot on my first hit of the season. I am 13 years old
Cons: none
NCLL
Pros: Feels balanced, durable, legal for use in LL. This is our 3rd Voodoo over the last 6 years with 3 brothers handing down bats as they out grow them
Cons: A bit high in price, but you get what you pay for in quality.
baseball1
Pros: great pop when you hit the ball right.
Cons: have to hit the ball perfect if not it stings and has no pop.
Anonymous
Pros: I have been around baseball for 5 yrs coaching and hitting all makes and brands and have yet to find a better bat period. This bat is insanely balanced w/slight end load. Son hit one 40ft over left fielders head this weekend, though you have to be a realist as technique is part of the equasion. Do not waste your money on CF5, bat is a joke, no pop or sweet spot!!! Traded in for VooDoo after 3 months hoping CF5 would improve. I would also recommend Combat's as a lighter alternative. Could not be happier.
Cons: Changed grip to Combat.......Best Grip Period!!
Gman
Pros: I hit a home run over the fence and broke someone's windshield with this bat
Cons: My parents had to pay for the winshield
kyler
Pros: Awesome bat, great pop!
Cons:
Anonymous
Pros: bat hits amazing
Cons: paint chips off fast but other than that great
Cole
Pros: My son was struggling with his batting on his travel baseball team. Once he got this bat into his hands his batting has improved 100%. When he connects with the ball he hits hard line shots. Very pleased with the bat.
Cons:
money
Pros: a lot of kids on my 13u team use it and most of the kids that use it are not power hitters. you wouldnt be able to tell that with this bat
Cons: the grip strted coming undone after a month or 2
cardinals15
Pros: great feel has nice sweetspot
Cons: liked older grips better
Ryans Dad
Pros: Great pop! My son has had the bat for 2 weeks and has hit 2 home runs, one being a grand slam. You won't be disappointed!
Cons: None
Eric
Pros: This is a high quality bat. My 12U son has the 31" 22 oz. and it fits him like a glove. It's end-load, balance, and dimensions are perfect, allowing the barrel to whip through the zone better than more middle-balanced models he's used in the past.
Cons: Although, it doesn't affect performance, my son wishes that a lot of the paint didn't chip off after just over 2 months of use.
travis
Pros: outstanding pop, no sting at all would recomend this bat to anyone. love the sound. And what i like the best does not sound like wood like the eastons do with there composits
Cons: grip fades
dmcbaseballer
Pros: first demarini bat i have ever had and was hitting bombs with it. you can just feel the power in it and is a very powerful top of the line bat.
Cons: may be heavy for some with the endloaded barrel. i recommend for power hitters
NC Slugger
Pros: Great bat for a power hitter, my 10 year old hit a 230 and 270 ft HR's the first weekend with the bat. It has a great grip and feel. He loved the graphics and break in time was about 100 balls.
Cons: The bat dies feel a little heavy because it is end weighted. I would not not recommend younger players unless they are pretty strong.
barnstormer36
Pros: Lots of pop. end loaded, so it's a good bat for power hitters
Cons:
awsome mackdaddy player
Pros: amazing pop
Cons: best bat ever
Stinging hands!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blaine parent
Pros: Good pop
Cons: We just purchased the bat from JustBats and was very excited to use it. My son is 11 and his first day of using it was not what we expected. The ball jumped off the bat well but it stung his hands and he was too cautious to hit the ball hard. Thanks to Justbats and they exchanged the bat for an Easton. This is the 2nd DeMarini we have purchased within the last 4 years and the last one was a Vexxum and it stung just the same. I am not happy with their products so far. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and there were not many complaints about stinging. I have had great luck with Easton so we will stick with them. We will not be purchasing DeMarini's again.
2013 voodoo vengance21 player
Pros: great pop, ball jumps of bat. i used to be able to hit it about 175ft now im able to hit around 275ft great bat
Cons: has pretty bad vibration if hit on end or handle
voodoo kyler() player
Pros: this is the best bat i have ever swung!!! amazing pop the ball just flys off the bat and has a huge sweet spot
Cons: the paint chips easily but otherwise this bat is amazing
Amazing BAT Ronnie coach
Pros: 12 yr old 5' 85lbs.. Strong above average ball player. Had a LSlugger TPX years ago and delivered 12 home runs one season then bat cracked. I have purchased three additional composit bats, all Easton Bats. Hasn't hit but two home runs since. Bought the 2013 31"/22oz -9 Demarini VooDoo bat. Straight out of the wrapper he hit 33 baseballs to the fence on a 225 field. This bat is explosive... Will turn an above average base hitter into a home run hitter! I had to share my testimony with every dad researching this bat. A MUST HAVE FOR ANY SERIOUS BALL PLAYER.... I am a parent and coach...
Cons: Don't have any at the moment. I hope the durability is as good as it is straight off the rack.
good bat john parent
Pros: awesome bat got this bat for my son i got a 30/22 thought it would be to heavy boy was i wrong his first game hit 4 homers in a row!
Cons: none
AWESOME!! chris Gonzalez parent
Pros: I got this bat for my 11 year old and absolutely loves this bat!! He is a power hitter and this bat has definitely increased the distance of the ball when he hits it. He hit 2 home runs last weekend with one over center field about 220 feet that then rolled another 25 feet.
Cons: Does have a little vibration according to my son but not a big problem at all.
amazing jay player
Pros: great pop out of the box sweet design and big barrel
Cons: hurts in the cold but then again, all bats do
Game Changer steve player
Pros: This bat is absolutely amazing. It has a enormous sweet spot and the pop is second to none. I definitely recommend this bat to anyone.
Cons: Zero!
Great Bat! Dan L parent
Pros: My son switched from the 2013 Easton S1 series to this bat because he didn't feel he was getting enough pop off of the Easton. That all changed with the Voodoo. Tons of pop and a very balanced feel, for an end loaded bat (he had been using a 28/18 when we bought the 29/20 Voodoo, but the Voodoo felt lighter to him). Highly recommend this bat.
Cons: None
awesome Richard Henry parent
Pros: son hit 350 foot bomb with this bat, and it wasn't even his it was his friends bat, and that was the first time he used it definitely getting it.
Cons: none

Cons: A little heavy

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
