Pros: Great sweet spot amazing pop
Cons: none!!
Pros: amazing sweet spot crazy good pop more balanced than i thought it is a great bat and you can't go wrong with buying it
Cons:
Pros: great bat light swing wight great pop
Cons: the first three times ever using the bat the knob broke off in my hands
Pros: hits like a dream
Cons: dont know any
Pros: I got this bat bout 2 weeks ago and got it broke in and i was at a 400 ft field and i was just poking them and they were flying of the barrel this bat is by far the best bat on the market and the graphics are cooler in person
Cons:
Pros: great pop nice design very balanced awesome feel
Cons: sound is a little dull but doesn't take away from performance
Pros: bat has huge sweet spot and it feels like a big barrell regular bat not a bbcor
Cons: takes a long time to breakin
Pros: everything
Cons:
Pros: Great pop, huge sweet spot- better than all of the bbcor bats I have used. Huge barrel (Obviously) Awesome graphics
Cons: Little top heavy, but good if you can get around on it.
Pros: I am a high school and travel player and this is by far the best bat I have encountered. The sound is similar to its BESR predecessors, as is the pop. Despite the end load, this bat feels very balanced when swung and has a very large sweet spot. The cosmetics are appealing as well. Really well priced I would pay more for this than the CF5, and I have hit with both.
Cons: I have not found a con thus far, although my teammates all want to use it so that could be a con.
Pros: So today I bought this bat, and I swung all the other bbcor bats there. Im a very skinny player at about 110 in the 9th grade so you can expect my bat speed to be low. and it was. I averaged the power brigade series and mt bat speed was 66. and the total average was 65, excluded all the demarini bats. they had the best bat speed. the average was around 70 mph. the highest was the CF5 at 72, but it doesnt have as much pop as the voodoo. and the voodoo was at 70. and it's cheaper. so i recommend this bat, and all the demarini bats. good job DeMarini.
Cons: it doesn't have any.
Pros: got this bat and used it twenty minutes later, the pop was so good that it felt like it had bouncy balls in it. hit another one farther down the barrell same pop! talk about a good bat!
Cons: everyone wants to use it!
Pros: great pop amazing bat.
Cons: A little top heavy
Pros: great bat will never break. I recommend for travel ball and hiGhschool
Cons: none
Pros: good pop
Cons: why spend 100 more dollars for this bat when u can buy the 2012 voodoo model for 100 dollars less. the 2012 and 2013 models r identical except for graphics
Pros: I used my friends in the cage and this bat is AMAZING!! Great pop and good hard hitting power bat.
Cons: EVERYONE will want to use this sick looking bat the first day you get it!!!
Pros: good weight balance transfer on swing ball seems to jump off closer to besr level then previous bbcor
Cons: carring distance for a young teenager needs to generate fast bat speed , so if your child has a long or slow swing this is not the bat for him
Pros: i bought this bat today and i went out to a field and it had almost the same pop as my besr voodoo right out of the wrapper and great graphics
Cons: you have to have a very fast bat speed to get it around
Pros: good pop
Cons: more varity of colors
Pros: best bat ive ever swung, really balanced, probably the best bbcor on the market, definetley better than any ive swung. cant go wrong with this one
Cons: none.
Pros: The bat is the best bat ever hit 3 bombs every at bat in 1 game.
Cons: None!!!
Pros: This bat is one of the best of bbcor. It has amazing pop amazing grip the besT Sweet spot If you are about to go to high school or are trying to get used to bbcor don't hesitate don't get the speed 1 or 2 or 3 by Easton those bats got nothin on this flawless bat:)
Cons: No way
Pros: It is the best BBCOR bat on the market right now it hits like the old bats and is alot better then the easton XL1 which is also a very good bat
Cons: All of your friends want to use it
Pros: I do not own this bat but a kid on my aau team has it. The bat has a tremendous amount of pop, i think its pretty hard not to get a solid hit with it, its just an unbelief piece of art from demarini.
Cons: None
Pros: Huge sweet spot good balance hits amazing and cool designs
Cons: None
Pros: Bat has good pop and a solid feel. Just recieved this bat before my Slumpbuster 14u Tourney in Omaha and had good results with it.
Cons: The finish on this bat is not very durable ( as in Paint) after my first game with it my Dad brought to my attention how the paint was already chipping of, so he was not to happy with that seeing how he pays for my bats.
Pros: Amazing pop
Cons: None
Pros: huge sweet spot, hits like aluminum, great pop and hits amazingly
Cons: none
Pros: cool colors big sweetspot new improved grip from 2012 model
Cons: it has a endload and the pop thier but its not as good as the 2012 model
Pros: It has decent pop for the two games I used it before it dented. Feels balanced.
Cons: This bat dented in the second game I used it
Pros: i used my friends voodoo during the game and even thought i hit it down bw th f.l.o handle i got a triple into right center gap
Cons: everyone wants to use it!!!
Pros: big sweet spot probably the best bbcor bat you can buy
Cons: sounds a little dull and bbcor in general isn't very good
Pros: great sweet spot, great girp, amazing pop, cool design, large barrel, and well balanced
Cons: none!!!!
Pros: large sweet spot. Solid hits off the sweet spots. Better and cheaper than the CF5 and the Marrucci's
Cons: Grip is a little uncomforatable and it takes a little while to "break it in"
Pros: This is a really great bat. No weaknesses. The entire barrel is a sweet spot. Be aware tho'- this bat is extremely end loaded and feels much heavier than the CF5, S1 or TPX. Great bat for College players and maybe 17 or 18yr old high school players. I would not recommend this bat for the younger players (13yrs or 14yrs) or go with a smaller size (31" or 32"). This bat is extremely durable and you do not need to worry about using it in hot or cold temperatures, works great all the time. Composite bats are a much better short term investment (S1, XL1, CF5) however be ready to replace it every season. Unlike the composite bats, this bat will not lose its pop after a couple of months. Seems to get better the more you use it. If you can afford to replace the bat every season, then I would recommend a CF5 or S1 but if you need a bat to last more than a season this one is great investment.
Cons: This bat takes a long time to break in. Maybe 500 to 800+ balls (solid bat once it's broken in). The end load makes it difficult for the younger players to make solid contact. Younger players will typically upper cut and pop-up with this bat. You need to be a stronger player or maybe go with a smaller bat size.
Pros: greatest bat i have ever swung, used to be an easton guy, go with this!
Cons: none price is low compared to eastons and rawlings
Pros: My son is a high school power hitting catcher that has signed a D1 LOI. I spent $400 on an Easton bat that he hates because it is too light. He has came back to the VooDoo and loves the end load. He says he can feel where the bat head is when he swings. This is the 3rd VooDoo that I have bought for him and he has hit great with all of them.
Cons: None
Pros: Great pop with a huge sweet spot, you can't go wrong with buying the Voodoo! It rocks!
Cons: None.
Pros: Great bat, very easy to swing, and has a nice sweetspot.
Cons: None yet, but just got it.
Pros: Great pop, huge sweet spot, not top heavy just a great bat all around.
Cons: NONE!!!!!!
Pros: Great pop, smooth, i love it
Cons: Paint chips easily
Pros: This bat has great pop and a great design. DeMarini has done it again!!!!!
Cons: None that comes to mind.
Pros: In love with the pop of this bat, the look, the feel, the sound, and now my batting average. I am not a big guy, 5'9 150. But I am the starting catcher for my varsity team. I bought this bat because the Omaha wasn't feeling just right. I got the 32.5 and won't be going back! Get this bat, my coach thought I was using a besr at my first batting practice with it.
Cons: The paint chips easily, and everyone wants to use it.
Pros: This bat has a lot of pop great bat my son loves it.
Cons: None.
Pros: great pop so far!!!
Cons: none yet
Pros: great pop, amazing bat speed , pop is 1000x better than easton s3
Cons: grips not like eastons vsr
Pros: 13 yr old. Middle school player. Smashing the ball with this bat. I love it.
Cons: 0
Pros: Use this bat cause I broke my xl2 and I can feel the difference, Its a good bat for power hitters and has an enormous sweet spot, I strike out a good amount of the time but using this bat I have all doubles this season..
Cons: Hard to get used to but other than that it rocks
Pros: It is a fairly balanced bat, I found it to feel a lot like the Louisville Slugger Omaha. The grip seems durable, and the bat has a large hitting area.
Cons: The grip is a little slick, but nothing that a little spit can't fix.
Pros: Great pop, cool graphics, smashing the ball with it
Cons: Your whole team is gonna wanna use it
Pros: GREAT!! Just got it and used it in a game, hit my first triple of the season! LOVE the weighted end. The bat just feels great! I'm 5,10 130 lbs can easly handle it. Defently recommend it.
Cons: Notta
Pros: Great pop right out of the package, Great solid feel, Great light swing weight, terrific sweet spot, great all around bat
Cons: Honestly. None.
Pros: First 2 hits were home runs. Good feel and great pop
Cons: None
Pros: Amazing pop. Great graphics, solid feel. We've had several Eastons, Sluggers, etc... and none had performed as the Voodoo has. It does take a stronger player to handle as its very end loaded, but as such, is a complete monster right out of the box...
Cons: Had for 2 months and none yet

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
