I would like to buy a Dudley Lightning bat, but I'm not sure if I want the end-loaded or the balanced version. I'm leaning toward 13" end loaded model. I see some people indicate that the 27 oz seems heavier than their other 27 oz bats. (1) Is there a reason for this? (2) If I buy it and don't like it, what is the return policy? Wayne
(1) I would imagine that if an individual was feeling that the 27 oz option of this Dudley Lightning Legend Series End-Loaded SSUSA Slowpitch Bat (LLESP) felt heavier than other 27 oz bats, it would be because of the end-loaded swing weight on this bat. (2) This bat will be able to be returned to us for a full refund or exchange if it is in brand-new, unused condition. If the bat is used with softballs, we will not be able to take it back for a full refund or exchange.

Bats become discontinued when they are no longer be made by the manufacturer, which typically occurs to every bat once the new year's models are being released/made. You would need to contact the manufacturer directly for a more specific reason.
