This question would definitely be better answered by your coach or league official. We are not a governing body so it is difficult for us to say without hesitation that any particular model is approved or not approved. It seems now more than ever that each league has their own guidelines to follow. We just don't want to misquote any information and therefore, a league official will be able to know exactly what is needed for that individual league.

The BNC11XL has a -8 length to weight ratio (i.e. A 30 inch bat will weigh 22 ounces). The BNC10XL has a -10 length to weight ratio (i.e. A 30 inch bat will weigh 20 ounces). Other than that, they are the same (besides minor differences in the paint job).

This bat does have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp on it. But does not have the Pony and year marking. If this is a new ruling the manufacters are probably working on producing them as we speak.

Both are two piece composite bats and are pretty comparable. Based on customer feedback, the opinions are mixed. Balance between the two is very comparable. There's not much difference is the sweetspot. It's going to come down to the eye of the beholder as far as which is better.

They are made the same, only difference is weight. If you are over 12 and are allowed to use big barrel, I would suggest the -8 especially if you plan to play in high school, where the mandatory weight is -3. The -8 would help you start getting used to heavier bats.

It absolutely is. It is important to break in composite bats because if you don't you could end up damaging the bat. The break in process doesn't really take that long, and once you break it in the bat will perform better.
