Description

There's a certain standard of quality that people know they're getting with an Easton bat. That's why this year's models feature the Easton name even more prominently than the name of the bat itself. When fielders see you out there with your Easton bat, they'll know they better take a step back. Anyone that knows bats knows that the Easton Reflex has provided players with the most bang for their buck for the better part of the past decade. Made from Easton's high-strength 7050 Aircraft Alloy, the one-piece Reflex will certainly exceed expectations set by its price point. The Reflex features Easton's massive sweet spot to give players the largest, most reactive barrel of any alloy bat under $100. An incredibly light and balanced swing weight, combined with an ultra-thin 29/32" inch handle with a Pro Tack grip makes it extremely easy for players to stay in command of their bat. Easton: Know-Feel-Be The Difference! The Reflex features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Very balanced bat. Huge sweet spot, and the ball just flies off of it. My son was hitting rocket line drives the first day. His smaller teammate's tried it and their bat speed improved immediately. It's also a great looking bat.

Cons: Can't be used in H.S., -3 or bbcor only leagues.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Reflex Senior League Baseball Bat: SL13RX5? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I am a 13 year old standing at 5 foot 7 needed a USSSA bat. Is this a good choice? hero
Yes, the Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League would be a good USSSA approved bat choice.
Jeff
Can this bat be used with batting machine rubber balls without damage? Keith
The Easton Reflex can be used in a batting cage that uses rubber balls.
Kara
Is this bat okay for my Babe Ruth League? John Harrison
Yes. The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 is approved for Babe Ruth play.
Tyler
How does this compare to the DeMarini CF5, as far as balance? My son is a 12 y/o using the CF5 31/23 but needs to transition to the -5. Mike
The Easton Reflex will be more balanced than the 2012 CF5.
Kara
I'm a 13 yr. old just entering Babe Ruth. I have used with great success a Worth Copperhead -13, and Easton XL 1, -10. I need a Big Barrel and big pop. Would you recommend the Easton Reflex -5, or the Marucci Cat 5 -5? Tman
Both the Marucci CAT 5: MSB25 Senior League bat and the Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat will -5 with 2 5/8" barrel diameters. They both will be One-Piece all Alloy designs with Balanced Swing Weights. The CAT 5 will have a Longer Barrel for an increased Sweetspot and more control. It will have Marucci's Patented Aint-Vibration Technology. The 2013 Easton Reflex will feature Easton's 7050 Aircraft Alloy and an Ultra-Thin 29/32 Inch Handle. It will also feature a Pro Tack Grip and Easton's Massive Sweet Spot. Both bats would be great selections for the -5 Senior League size.
Brandon
Would this bat be approved for high school baseball? If not would the Easton XL3 drop 5 be? Thanks chomper
Only Adult -3 BBCOR bats are approved for High School play. No -5 bat will be legal for High School.
Tyler
Is there a certain temperature that you should not use this bat? We have heard rumors that at below 50 degrees some bat types can crack. chomper24
You can use the Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League in colder weather conditions, but you should not use composite bats in temperatures less than 50 degrees to avoid cracking the bat.
Noah
My son is turning 13 next week. He's 5'4". He used a friend's Easton Omen XL 30"/25 oz. and really liked it. Would the Reflex bat be comparable? I can't find the Omen. Any other recommendations in the $100-$125 range? Linda
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat would be a one-piece all alloy design. This bat will be very balanced in swing weight and have a massive sweet spot. It would not be like the Omen XL. The Omen XL would most likely resemble the 2013 Easton XL1: SL13X15 Senior League bat. The Omen XL and 2013 XL1 will be two-piece all composites bats with a barrel heavy end loaded feel to the swing weight. They both will have an extended barrel. Power hitters tend to love these bats.
Brandon
My son is just turning 14yrs and is only about 5'1". Last season he had been using the Easton Reflex BX series bat 31"(-8) and is now moving into a 31"(-5) or even a (-3) as they begin to approach freshman baseball. End-loaded is DEFINITELY something we don't want to be looking at this stage. He is a lead-off hitter with a quick hands. Is this a bat we should consider? He prefers the Easton bats over other brands. Peter
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League would not be legal in High School Baseball. All bats must be BBCOR certified which are drop 3 length to weight ratio. I would recommend the Easton S Series. The S Series features a Low M.O.I. for faster bat speeds.
Frank
This year I need to switch to a -5 bat and last year I had great success with the -10 Easton Rival. Would this bat be similar to the Rival? JJ
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 is a great bat. But if you're looking for a similar feel to the Rival then the Easton S3: SL11S310 would be a closer match.
Kevin
What does BPF 1.15 mean? john b
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat features the new USSSA BPF 1.15 mark. This number represents that the bat will have slightly better "trampoline effect" in the barrel compared to a high-quality wood bat.
Mac
Will you be getting more of these bats in? Looking for a 32 inch. Spencer
We will not be receiving more Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League in a 32". Here is a link to all of our -5 bats available in a 32"; http://www.justbats.com/products/baseball%20bats~youth%20big%20barrel/length%20to%20weight%20ratio~-%205/length~32%20inch/.
Kara
I'm 13 and 140 lbs. is the -5 2013 Easton Reflex too heavy for me? brando
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat should work fine for you. I see many 13 year old players using the -5 size.
Brandon
Is this balanced? brando
Yes, the Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat will be balanced in swing weight.
Brandon
Is it a 2 5/8" barrel? b
Yes, the Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League bat features a barrel diameter of 2 5/8". It also bears the new, USSSA BPF 1.15 stamp and is approved for play in many Youth baseball leagues.
Mac
Is this bat a big barrel? nik1
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League would be considered a big barrel bat. The barrel diameter is 2 5/8" and it features the new USSSA BPF 1.15 certification mark.
Mac
Can this bat be used in Babe Ruth League for ages 13-15? kmom
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League is legal in Babe Ruth League ages 13-15.
Kara
Is the SL13RX5 single layer or double layer on the inside? Mlor
The Easton Reflex: SL13RX5 Senior League is a single wall alloy bat.
Kara
I am already swinging a 2014 DeMarini Voodoo Paradox 32/23. I am looking for a -5 non composite barrel bat for under $100. Which bats do you recommend? baseball
The Easton Reflex (SL13RX5) would be a great option to go with. It features the one-piece, fully alloy design. The Voodoo Paradox features an end loaded design that caters toward power hitting. The Reflex would be a great option because of the one-piece design which provides a stiffer feel that power hitters also tend to prefer.
Tessa L.
Is this bat BBCOR approved? g
No, the Easton Reflex Senior League (SL13RX5) is not BBCOR approved. The model number for the BBCOR Easton Reflex is BB13RX. Here is the link: http://www.justbats.com/product/easton-reflex-bbcor--bb13rx-adult/15974/?pa_source=justbats&pa_campaign=was&pa_medium=badges&pa_content=easton-reflex-bbcor--bb13rx-adult
John
Is this a composite bat? What temperature is the lowest that I can use the bat? Andrew
The Easton Reflex (SL13RX5) Senior League bat is a one piece alloy design. We suggest using our bats in weather above 55 degrees. Below that temperature, the core of the baseball can condense and become harder and can cause durability issues with the bat.
Patrick
Can this be used for Little League Junior Level? Joe
Yes, the Easton Reflex Senior League Baseball Bat (SL13RX5) is going to be approved for play in Little League Juniors.
