Pros: Sick bat! Just got it in the mail. Really really balanced feels like a 27 oz. Can't wait to hit the cages. Thanks justbats!
Cons: nope
Pros: This bat is really great. When you swing with it and make contact the ball will fly. Really balanced and feels great in your hands, and i recommend if you have a Easton bat from last year, and the bat has a little rattling and the rubber piece comes off send it in to Easton. Thats what I did, i had a 2012 Easton rival and surge and it was still under the 1 year warranty so i sent them in. In return i received 2 Brand new bats the 2013 Easton s2 and s3. So take this into consideration and once again this bat is great.
Cons: If you take continuous reps, you will get Calluses with or without b-gloves.
Pros: Just bought this bat, I love the great balanced feel of it, I love the pop that this bat generates, and I love the half and half feel. I would recommend this bat for power and contact hitters.
Cons: None.
Pros: I just hit with my friend's S2, it hit great! Good pop, great for hitting line drives.
Cons: Smaller sweet spot than some bats. This bat stings like most bats if you hit it off the end of the barrel.
Pros: Great bat, ball flies off of the bat with little vibration. One the best Eastons I have ever had. Graphics look great too.
Cons: none!!!
Pros: NONE
Cons: I started out with the Easton Surge. The bat was too top heavy and broke in about 4 weeks with the Connection peice. So Easton gave me a 2012 S2 since they didn't make the Surge anymore. Within about 5 weeks it broke in the Connection peice again. Then they sent me another 2012 S2. It's cap was coming off in about 5 weeks. Then I finally got the 2013 Easton S2. Within 3 weeks the barrel was shaking back and forth, another problem with the Connection peice. Never another Easton bat until the Connection peice is fixed.
Pros: I hate spending a lot of money on bats - this is the first time I have bought one of my sons a bat of this $$$. With that said, my son has been on a tear since he got this bat. He absolutely loves it because it is well balanced and has a lot of pop. When he is hitting well, he is a line drive/ground ball hitter. This bat has really helped power the ball through the infield. The yellow on the handle is his guide for choking up on the bat since it is drop 3 and he is a 95 pound 7th grader.
Cons: none at this point.
Pros: hits pretty well
Cons: I ordered the 2013 Easton s2 and it broke within 2 weeks in the connection piece so they sent me a new s2 and it broke within 3 weeks and they broke in the exact same spot both times
Pros: Weight and balance was as advertised. Really has some pop for a BBCOR.
Cons: The "break-in time" for this bat took nearly 200 good hits in the cage before it became "game usable".
Pros: lots of pop while it lasted
Cons: this bat broke within 2 games (6 hits)
Pros: This bat has some really good pop. Love the feel when you hit the sweet spot. Feels like a wood bat.
Cons: Small sweet spot, but that's with all BBCOR bats.
Pros: When you hit the ball on the sweet spot, the ball flies.
Cons: Little sweet spot, worst BBCOR I've ever owned.
Pros: Great bat very balanced. Went 8-11 in my first 3 games with it.
Cons: Not a whole lot of pop seems like I get a lot more ground ball hits.
Pros: Great pop out of wrapper
Cons: I've had this bat for close to a month, and already it's starting to chip on the inside, and the barrel is coming loose. Before this I've had 2 S2's (2012) and both have had problems with chipping on the inside, and around the connection piece. Definately not getting a new one, as I'm on my 2nd broken one this season. Neither of them lasted over 2 months. I suggest buying Marucci, because they're one piece with a heck of a lot more pop than an Easton.
Pros: Great pop and overall feel. Hit it on the sweet spot and you'll drive it to the gap every time. No sting on miss hits and I'm really loving the two piece feel.
Cons: After using this bat in about 30 games, I had a bit of a shaky barrel.
Pros: has amazing pop fresh out of the wrapper i reccomend this bat to middle schoolers who need a light swing weight
Cons: none
Pros: Looks cool
Cons: This is the worse BBCOR I have ever used. It has no pop whatsoever and has a weird balance. It sounds terrible and fells the same. Dont waste your money and if your going to buy easton look at the s4, s3, or s1 not this bat
Pros: Dont listen to any other reviews! I bought this bat and had it for about 8 months.(Im a power hitter and hit in the cages a lot) If people have broken the conection piece they dont know how to swing :) This bat is great and has loads of pop. Mine started having the barrel loose so its illegal in games now but the loose barrel gives it even more pop because of the trampalene affect a bat has. It also has a larger sweet spot than bats ive had in the past.
Cons: I only had it for 8 months. If fixed would be a 10 Star
Pros: The bat feels great in the hands, well balanced. Ball flies off when solid contact is made.
Cons: It broke at the connection piece and im in the process of sending it in so we'll see what happens. Needs to be more durable
Pros: Great Grip love the pop. It's not like some of the pop on little league bats, but it's one of the best you will get in bbcor, just my opinion. Its very balanced and the two pice feel is soo cool! It does eliminate a ton of vibration. Of course there is always the random little vibration here and there, but again, its minimal and nothing to worry about. I havent had it that long (only about a month) and I've only used it in bp, however Im sure the durability is great. No problems yet. Oh, I didn't give durability 5 stars cause something could happen in the future, but since I was pretty sure nothing would i gave it 4.
Cons: I cannot think of any negative things about this bat. It is definitely worth the price and I highly recommend you get it.
Pros: I can't even believe it's BBCOR! It is very balanced with NO vibration and great pop. I prefer this over my 2014 DeMarini Voodoo Paradox.
Cons: Grip can get a little dirty (bats get dirty anyway)
Pros: Big barrel, Increases swing speed, Great feel, and easy to drive threw the zone.
Cons: None
Pros: This bat was okay when I used it. I had pretty good bat speed while using it.
Cons: My s2 broke in about two months of use! I was hitting one day and the handle literally snapped in half. The bat didnt have great pop either. I was really dissapointed with it when it broke. Not a great bat.
Pros: Was a good bat when I had. Got a game winning double over the center fielder's head with it, so it has pop. Good balance and control.
Cons: Not very durable. It used it in about 10 games and the Connection piece broke. I am in the process of sending it back now.
Pros: I bought this for my birthday about 6 months ago and when I got it was amazing had great pop never stung when you would hit inside or outside pitches
Cons: Now the barrel is really shaky and it sounds dead but the pop is stil Ok
Pros: Good bat speed
Cons: NO POP! Balls I hit on the sweet spot ended up being grounders.
Pros: decent pop and feels good in your hands
Cons: broke in the first practice of mine
Pros: The 2014 s2 is definately a good bat and gets decent pop. However, when comparing it with my 2013 Easton s1 I prefer the s1 over this s2. The 2013 s1 just feels more balanced and has a more equal weight distribution. When I swing the 2014 s2 and then switch to the 2013 s1, it feels considerably lighter (more bat speed) and I feel like I hit better with the s1. Overall, the s2 is still a great bat (one of the best out there by far) but as a speed/contact hitter I 100% recommend the older version of the s1.
Cons: Not equally balanced, slower bat speed.
