Pros: Awesome pop really light and when they say ultra thin handle they aren't lying it is very thin and has great grip And I think it's pretty cool looking Cons:Got a little marked up It might be a little too light but for some hitters that's good

Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL13S210 review by LonghornsYouthBaseball
Pros: Nice pop right out of the wrapper. Added at least 15 feet if not more coming off the bat. Looks good. Definitely recommend it and will be buying more of Easton's Power Brigade Series of bats. Cons:Wished it came in a -11 or -12, but still a great bat.

Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL13S210 review by da man that hits bombe
Pros: This bat has POP!!!!!!!!!!! It feels super light when you swing and the ball just jumps right off it! IT HAS SOOOOOO MUCH POP!!!!!!!! I play 12u travel ball and when guys are throwing 55 and you put a good swing on it the ball jumps off the barell and flies over the fence! This bat produced so many hard hit line drives and extra base hits including home runs for me and i absolutely love it!!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Cons:The pitcher cries when you send his ERA to the moon... as well as the ball.

What bat should I get for my season of 50/70 baseball, the DeMarini Voodoo Overlord or the Easton S2?

If you like a more end-loaded feel I would go with the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD Senior League Baseball Bat (DXVDR) if you like a more balanced design I would go with the Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL13S210). Both are great options. The preference would come down to which feel you like better.

Can I use the S2 -3 in high school?

The 2014 Easton S2 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB14S2) would be legal in high school play. This model, the Easton S2 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL13S210) would not be.

What model would be better, the 2013 or 2014?

The Easton S2 (SL13S210 Senior League) would be very high performing no matter if you get the 2012, 2013, or 2014 model. The design has not changed over the past seasons. The last few years they upgraded the composite handle to get the hitter a more comfortable feel. The outer color graphics have changed slightly over the years though.

Product Description

The next generation of Power Brigade has arrived. Now in its second season, this groundbreaking line of bats is unlike anything else on the field today. The concept is simple: Help players hit for power. However, Easton realizes that different players achieve a powerful swing in different ways. That's why the Power Brigade is divided into two distinct series - the XL Series (XL1, XL2, and XL3) and the Speed Series (S1, S2, and S3). The XL Series is designed for bigger, stronger hitters who derive their power from a bat with more mass. Smaller length to weight ratios, and an extra-long barrel with a massive sweet spot and a slight end load characterize the XL Series. The Speed Series, on the other hand, helps players increase their swing speed in order to generate more power. These bats feature lighter length to weight ratios, a lower M.O.I., and a balanced feel. Further trying to equip players with their perfect bat, Easton offers all of its Power Brigade bats in a two-piece IMX Composite/SIC Black Carbon design (XL1, S1), a two-piece IMX Composite/THT100 Scandium Alloy hybrid design (XL2, S2), and a one-piece THT Scandium Alloy design (XL3, S3). Two of the highest performing materials ever used on a bat, Easton's patented IMX Composite optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance, while their THT Scandium Alloy provides solid durability and allows for a larger alloy sweet spot than is seen anywhere else on the field. Throw in an array of additional world-class Easton technology, and you've got a line of bats that can't be topped. Easton: Personalize Your Power! The S2 features the new USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by Easton's Exclusive 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!
