Big Barrel, Big bang!! Rick Nanas parent
Pros: Great pop off the ball. My son plays travel mustang baseball for the Canes. We just bought the 29-19 S3 a couple of weeks ago. After playing his first tournament, we realized why we switched to an all aluminum bat. He hit two giants shots. One over the left fielders head and another Giant shot over the center fielders head. The opposing team players were playing deep!! We played on a field where the fences are 400 plus ft.(Softball fields) This bat is amazing. Remember it is still the swing and bat speed that make the player but the overall look and feel of the New Easton S3 just adds just more confidence to a young player!!!
Cons: The yellow part of the bat chips a little if you use it a lot in the batting cages otherwise nothing!!!
2014 Easton S3: SL14S310B Senior League Ricky Clelland parent
Pros: Great feel and very balanced. My boy loves it and gets it through the zone quickly with a ton of pop. A lot of hits in this bat. As advertised and a very happy customer!!!!
Cons: None yet. Going through winter workouts now.
2014 S3 steve other
Pros: It's cool.
Cons: Awesome.
this bat is awesome Brooks player
Pros: has tons of pop and it feels great and I hit my first home run with this bat and it was 220 feet.
Cons: nothing
bat Cristian Baseball parent
Pros: Bought it for a 10 year old, he loves it
Cons: nothing,
awesome mackdaddy player
Pros: great bat with a lot of pop
Cons: none
Great Bat - My Son Loves It Pat coach
Pros: The bat performs as promised. My son is hitting bombs. He hits for power and contact. Even the grounders are flying off the bat. No complaints about sting - last years bat had too much sting. Bat is still 2 1/2 months new for us - so far sooo good.
Cons: Price $200 is a lot for a bat. I will not let other players use it and I feel a bit selfish - I do give their parents the justbats web address. Also the colors stink - yellow, sliver, black - yuck!
Nice bat but dents way to easy 8U BASEBALL parent
Pros: The bat does what easton says it will, it provides a ton of pop and feels good in the hand. For a young 8 yr oldbatter progressing from a -12 to a -10 the bat is pretty nice as far as weight and how it is weighted.
Cons: For a 8 yr you wouldn't think he would dent up a bat, but he did. My son has a 28/18 and after 2 days of normal practice using regular balls it is dented up all around the bat, one good dent and a many minors. Hopefully Easton will provide me with another one (online seller didn't send me a receipt).
My son loves this bat John R parent
Pros: Pop, he is hitting the ball where the bigger kids on the team do.
Cons: none yet
Love Eastons Bobby player
Pros: Great bat, very balanced, good pop.
Cons: None so far
A big fan of Alloy Bats... Andrew coach
Pros: We had the worth prodigy bat from 2012 before. It was an alloy bat also and work good for my son. My son got this bat and loves it twice as much. He loves the feel and feels like he's smashing the ball even more even though he already was before. He is 12 years old and the leadoff hitter on his tournament team. hopefully we will really tear it up at Cooperstown this year! This Easton Yellow bat seems to be pretty popular out there. Don't worry about the indentions as that is typical for an alloy bat if you're a good hitter. Just don't use them in the cages and you can exchange it under warranty at the end of the season if you have dents. Your ballplayer will love this bat.
Cons: Stay away from composite bats!
Great D34 player
Pros: Great feel when you hit and all the time I hit over the fence
Cons: Nothing yet
Mixed review John parent
Pros: My 9yr old daughter had the 2013 version of this bat and loved it. Great pop. Lots of kids on her team have this bat and seem to like it a lot. We got the 2014 version as a replacement after the 2013 was dented by her 10 yr old brother.
Cons: Durability. 2013 S3 was dented by my son, Easton replaced with the 2014 version and my daughter dented it within a week. I won't buy another of this model - have had a number of other bats without this durability issue that have performed equally well.
BOOM! Dad of a Legend parent
Pros: Explosive off the bat! The bat will actually make the baseball field seem much smaller than it is.
Cons: None
I love it. Owen player
Pros: It is the best bat ever
Cons: non
good feel/short life Brian Wilemon coach
Pros: Great balance. Great pop.
Cons: $200.00, 15 at bats and ready for the garbage can. If you look at it hard it will dent.
Great Bat Evan vieira player
Pros: Great pop and the ball is gone off the bat I hit a lot of homers this season and only 3 tournaments in
Cons: Dents extremely easy I would not recommend excessive hitting with this bat
Great Bat!!! Dusty parent
Pros: This bat had major pop right out of the wrapper. My son hits the ball 50 to 70 feet further with this bat then he did with his old bat. The Old bat was only a month old and rated a 5 star also.
Cons: My son is only 10 yrs old. He has put 3 dents in this bat in one week of use.
Awesome Austin hank player
Pros: Great bat speed and pop
Cons: Nothing
UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW 8U BASEBALL UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW parent
Pros: I have a review with 8yr old denting up the bat. I received a replacement bat with no issues from Easton and bat is still producing outstanding pop. The replacement bat HAS NOT dented like the previous one. So those of you shying away from Easton with a bad experience let them replace/fix the issue. I will still buy Easton bats. Thanks Easton
Cons: Everyone want to use my sons bat
Durability??? DAD parent
Pros: Same feel and pop of the 2013 S3.
Cons: This bat is SOFT! My 9 year old dented it in 3 places in just one weekend travel tourney. Just got warranty replacement bat. Guess we will see how long this one lasts. Dissapointed!
This bat dents easily. Don't buy it Randy Koch coach
Pros: Out of the box. It feels good and has good pop.
Cons: It (the 27 inch bat) dents easily. Within 2 weeks, my son had 3 rather large dents. Within 3 weeks, the bat was done. Easton was nice enough to replace it (1 year warranty). The replacement bat (a new one) had the same result. Do not buy this bat (the 27 inch version).
Okay Swag player
Pros: Fast but you have to hit on the sweet spot are else it vibrates for contact hitter
Cons: Stand close to the plate
Great Game Bat - Not Durable Enough for Cage Work Lee Ewers parent
Pros: Balanced with good pop. Easy to generate bat speed.
Cons: Not durable at all. Don't recommend for use in a cage. This bat just does not have many swings in it. 9 months after initial purchase this bat has been replaced twice (broken end cap then dented and dead). I fully expect it to be replaced again before the end of Summer. I will say Easton's warranty process has been a positive experience.
Good bat, not durable Danny player
Pros: Really good bat with lots of pop, also very balanced and easy to swing
Cons: 3 players on my team have had the s3, and all 3 dented.
awsome bat Hayden coach
Pros: Very balanced makes It very easy to swing. A lot of pop. Son says it just trampolines off the bat.
Cons: Son loves the bat
BIG BARRAL BIG POP Hayden player
Pros: I hit my first homer. It was 350 over the high school fence, Although it dents very easily, great bat!
Cons: none yet
Excellent bang for the buck and a solid bat! Stinger 19 coach
Pros: I picked this bat for my 10 year old (31 drop 10 - 2 5/8 big barrel) 5'5" 140 lbs. The bat is very balanced and is still heavy enough that it has great feel and he can adjust his swing as he is learning and developing. Sorry no stories of 250 foot home runs his first game (too many silly stories of superhuman feats of strength by kids in these reviews) but he can hit it 200 feet and it bounces the extra 20 to the fence. Also very solid line drives with lots of POP (or is it PINKKKKKKKK) when he gets ahold of one. I think this is the best value and performance of any Easton bat, and the one piece construction is optimal. I doubt that even composite two piece bats can outperform this one. The paint with minor cleaning looks like new. Sounds awesome when you get ahold of the ball. PINKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK........
Cons: Other than other players wanting to use it, and other parents running out and buying new bats thinking it is the equipment, not the player.... they are two piece S1's or S2's so that means they like Easton also. No issues with the bat in quality or performance. No cons noted.
Great pop but dents easily Scott Koppy parent
Pros: The ball definitely jumps off this bat. Very evenly balanced. This would be 5 stars if not for the one con.
Cons: First bat dented after a month or so. Got replacement bat and dented after one tournament. This bat just seems to dent to easy. My son is not big 11 yr old - uses 27/17. Probably only recommend for t-ball.
OUTSTANDING BAT! Alex Brisbane player
Pros: Its feel, durability are great. Worth every penny.
Cons: Pop isn't perfect but good.
nice bat Red-X player
Pros: I bought this bat and it has great pop I the ball travels really far.
Cons: If you don`t use batting gloves grip is slippery. No dents yet
awesome bat Liam White player
Pros: Very nice sound and pop off the bat. Had many very nice hits with it right out of the box. Even though it might be not the expensive composite bat i have better results with this bat than any other i've had.
Cons: Nothing yet.
If your son can hit, he'll dent it Rob coach
Pros: Very nice bat to swing and he really likes it.
Cons: It dented after one season, and he's not a big kid. Lots of cuts into the net off a tee, and while I would expect a few dings, this was more than I expected. Worth the money probably, but you'll be one season and done.
easton S3 big barell bat william scott rapp parent
Pros: none
Cons: barrell flats out, i purchased s3 28 in 18 oz december 2013 lasted 6 months, then barrel flats out on one side. returned to easton, they replace it. 2nd bat does same thing. Then i call easton now my son has grown into a bigger bat 29in 19 oz, they send that bat as a replacement. My son played 6 games and barrel flattens out again. this is ridiculous. Is Easton sending 2nd's as replacements, hoping i just get frustrated and give up! 3 replacements in 14 months is absurd.
bat harris player
Pros: big barrel good
Cons: the
this is the best bat you can find JAKE player
Pros: AMAZING BAT ITS THE BEST BAT
Cons: NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS BAT
It's awesome Brady snow player
Pros: There is so much pop and when I use it it never stings for me
Cons: Everybody uses it
terrible bat liam player
Pros: good pop
Cons: dented in 3 spots within the first 2 days of the first tournament
This bat is Awesome Carlos Castro coach
Pros: Great Pop, My son is about to turn 8 and I saved this bat until he was a bit stronger because he is a bit small at 4' 1", He is using 27" 17 oz. and he is killing the ball. Last game he hit three doubles and one was at the top of the fence, he does not lift the ball much so many of his hits are on a line. He is a bit strong for his size so I don't know if it is the bat or just him but either way he does not want to change even though I think he needs to move up to a 28".
Cons: None at the moment
great zack player
Pros: good pop and the bat is fast and lightweat
Cons: bat chipped after a couple games but by user error
Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL14S310B Frankie coach
Pros: I purchased the first bat 28 inches, 18 oz, 2 ¾ dia and my son was hitting nice pops to the outfield. He loves the bat and so does his teammates. Very well priced for the excellent performance. Now, we are purchasing the same and next size up. Great bat!
Cons: NONE!

Pros: Great feel in your hands.. You can really feel just how balanced it is holding it. My son is a big 9yr old. 5ft tall 110lbs. I bought the 30/20 and he bats clean up. Great, great pop!!!
Cons: Absolutely NOTHING!
HITTER STORM 88 player
Pros: NO BREAK IN. PRETTY HOT OUT OF BOX LIKE ALL S3 OR RIVALS.
Cons: NOSE DIVE IN QUALITY COMPARED TO LAST TWO YEARS MODELS. ALL S3'S DENT THATS WHY THEY ARE HOT. THIS ONE FLATTENS. CHINA MUST HAVE CHANGED SOMETHING IN THE ALLOY. FIRST TOURNAMENT FLAT ON ONE SIDE. REPLACEMENT DID SAME. BOUGHT AN XL3 AND ITS JUST AS HOT AND A LITTLE TOUGHER.
This S3 is NASTY! Stinkbait Willy 33 coach
Pros: Tons of pop and distance. i felt compelled to review this bat because it is so hot. I'm selling my Mako now that I have this S3.
Cons: dents quickly
