Pros: Hot out of wrapper, light, cool graphics, nice grip, pop
Cons: Small barrel, doesn't have a lot of pop for a long time
Pros: I don't have a lot of good things to say about this bat. It cracked within 50 swings of batting practice. Barrel seemed small and not a great deal of pop. There are much better bats for this price range. I did like the balanced feel of it.
Cons: Cracked on the first 50 swings Small Barrel
Pros: Have bought Easton bats for many years for my sons and have always been satisfied. This bat is no exception. Great Job Easton
Cons: None
Pros: Great pop
Cons: Only lasted a year
Pros: Good pop - great feel - good weight distribution
Cons: None yet. Only been through one batting practice. Not sure about durability.
Pros: The bat must be better balanced or just a better fit for my son. Switched from a Marucci One and my 8 yr old is hitting the ball harder, further and more often. Confidence has really jumped in a short period of time as well. Great looking bat but does get marked up pretty quick which We don't care about.
Cons: Too early to have any issues right now.
Pros: Seemed to have larger sweet spot than the 2014
Cons: Just like the 2014 model already denting and flattening out. My son is 10 and was hoping to get more life out of the new and improved version. Guess not. Time to give the Marucci hex alloy a try.
Pros: Good pop out of the box
Cons: Denting just like the previous model S3 after 4 months.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: after a year you loose the warranty and the bat will get dent no matter how you take care of it
Pros: Has great pop and the ball flies off the bat!
Cons: The bat dents very easily and i would not recommend power hitters using this bat!
Pros: Bat feels and looks great. It also has decent pop and a nice balance. Good bat for younger players but will last you one season if you have a kid that can really hit the ball.
Cons: After about 6 games my son noticed some minor dings in the bat. Normally he plays with 2 5/8 but we wanted to see what he could do with a 2 3/4 so we got this bat. Unfortunately, he is at an age and power range that is going to be too much for the bat. We'll be lucky to get one season out of it. I called Justbats and based on his age (just turned 13) - they recommended dropping back down to a 2 5/8 to get more strength in the bat. We are going to send it back to Easton and see if they will send us the smaller barrel. Too - bad, I think the extra 1/8 inch was helping a little with eliminating pop flies. In our tournament last weekend - he was 6 inches short of sending it over the fence at the 245 marker. Bat Size 32" / 22 oz. (12U Player)
Pros: My bating average with this bat was 750 and i hit my first home run with it
Cons: It did not have iny bad thing hop they my a 2016 bat of it
Pros: AWESOME BAT !!!!! Easton is the Best !!!
Cons: none
Pros: The bat has great pop and weight distribution. I was hitting the ball to the fences consistently.
Cons: After half a season, it had dents everywhere on it. Bummer.
Pros: The most pop for the money. My son switched from a Mako to this bat. He liked how the bat is balanced, and his power improved. He loves the bat, and I appreciated the price difference.
Cons: None.
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper! We used it for 12u travel team and i thought it needed a break in period. It jumped off the bat first pitch and it's still hot! Good job Easton, I will continue to buy your product.
Cons: I dont know yet, my son just had it a couple of days.
Pros: Nice pop
Cons: Nothing yet
Pros: Pop barrel dimension
Cons: None
Pros: The moment we took off the wrapper, my son was hitting the fence. The ball really flies off this bat.
Cons: My son dented up this bat after a few months but the Easton warranty came through. We still even bought another of the same bat.
Pros: Good feel & pop!
Cons: None yet
Pros: Great pop
Cons: None
Pros: This easton S3 bat will give any kid confidence at the plate. It has great pop, well balanced and looks good. My 12yr old has been using easton bats since tee-ball and this model S3 is by far is the best he has ever used!!!
Cons: none
Pros: exactly as advertised
Cons: none
Pros: good pop
Cons: dented after 1 week
Pros: Both my 13 year old and 9 year old prefer this bat. It is a great balanced bat and has as much pop as any bat that they have used. The only down side is they dent up pretty easily. My 65 pound 9 year olds dented slightly in the first cage session after about 40 swings. They are only going to make it through one select season but they are low cost.
Cons: Dents
Pros: Ball really comes off the bat hot, son hasn't complained of bat vibration yet
Cons: None
Pros: It's been ok for my son so far, he's smallish (4'4"/80lb) so I got the 29/19. Haven't seen a rocket it off it yet and my son is a good hitter.
Cons: 29/19 with a 2 3/4 probably not recommended. I would stay with a 2 5/8 at that length.
Pros: I know a bat is only as good as the person swinging it, but for some reason my son seems to hit the sweet spot every time with this bat. He loves it! Very well balanced and well worth the price!!! A++++++
Cons: non yet.
Pros: the price (now discounted) relative to pop equation for this bat is tremendous. purchased a 30/20 for my 11U son as a safeguard if his premium (high priced) bat broke or if it was too cold to swing composite. well, his CF7 cracked and so now this is his go-to. he has total confidence in it. nice balance, nice grip, thinner down by the handle so it whips thru the zone a lot faster than some other 2 3/4" bats. has that nice ping sound Easton bats are known for. Fantastic pop for an inexpensive one-piece, my son has hit 2 out with it.
Cons: not many. some occasional vibration - especially if the player is used to swinging a 2 piece. the handle part of the barrel is thin and it takes a little longer to spread out to 2 3/4" (in comparing to other bats of similar size).
Pros: Good pop, large sweet spot
Cons: will dent after lots of hard hits, but then again the entire 10U team used it
Pros: pop and feel are great. my son is in 11u and his power and confidence increased. he even got his first dinger.
Cons: nothing. no dents or issues like others have said.
Pros: HUGE POP. I bought both the 2 1/4 and the 2 5/8 barrel both bats have great pop. My sons have used them for 2 years now and have been really impressed with these bats performance
Cons: havent found one yet
Pros: My 9 year old had hit several homers on 200 foot fields with this bat. Granted he is a big strong kid who puts his time in, and has homers with other bats as well, but the Easton S3 is reliable, and has great 'pop'.
Cons: I know this bat will eventually dent but ALL aluminum 2 3/4 swung by big hitters will dent. If it lasts two seasons with these big hits, I will be pleased.
Pros: great pop for the price, no complaints so far!
Cons: none to speak of, have only had bat for teo weeks
Pros: It Had A Good Pop And It Had A Huge Sweet Spot.
Cons: Nothing That I Noticed. It Just Wasnt The Right Bat For Me.
Pros: Good overall bat
Cons: none
Pros: Great pop to it. My son hit several homeruns and exra base hits with it.
Cons: After summer and fall ball, several dents in it. Not for very consistant power hitters.
Pros: Light weight - feels lighter than other 21 ounce bats. Nice grip. Has very nice pop.
Cons: None at this time - this bat is used in cold weather games to save the Easton Torq.
Pros: it's grips are good
Cons: broke under two months
Pros: The pop is amazing and the ball can go a long way if you square it up! It also has a huge barrel with no weak spots.
Cons: The barrel is no very long and the vibration is pretty bad is you get jammed but overall great bat for travel ballers from ages 9-12!
Pros: This bat has a great feel, and great pop. I love the bat, and it's still good after using it for three years. Overall, it is a great bat, and I love it!!
Cons: This bat vibrates a bit if you hit the ball off the end of the barrel, and it hurts your hand. But don't all bats do that?
Pros: Long lasting, my son got this bat when he was in 8U. In both his 9U year and 10U year he went back to this bat to get out of hitting slumps. Since then we've tried the DiMarini Vexxum and the Easton Ghost X Hyperlite. But the 2015 S3 has been the superior bat.
Cons: None
