Pros: Easy to swing.
Cons: not alot of power in the bat
Simplified Swing
Pros: Light swing, even thte -3 feels like a greater drop for the length. for me the extra inch allows me to drive to the opposite field while the lighter feel allows me to get out in front of the inside pitch to pull. Lots of pop and getting better with each use.
Cons: None noticed yet
bryce

Hi, my son son is 5'1" and 120 lbs. He is stepping up from a youth bat to big barrel this year. I am looking at your bat pack which features the S3 and S4. He is not a power hitter but more of a line drive, contact hitter. I am thinking of the S3 in a 30"/27oz. and the S4 in a 31"/28oz. but I am also afraid of buying two bats that are too similar. Can you please advise? Thank you innermarker
I notice reading your section "Ask A Question", about the Easton S1 BBCOR you mention that using the S1 in a batting cage with those yellow dimpled balls will effect the pop of the bat, is that true with the S4 2012 too? Cameo99
My son is 12 , 5'1",and 120 lbs. He currently uses a 31" -10 omen and a 31" - 9 voodoo. His bat speed is above average compared to many of his peers. He is moving up to a -3 league but does not like big barrel bats. Is the S4 the only small barrel -3 on the market or does anyone have a composite version. If not what size should I get him, a 31" or a 32"? Thanks. Fat Earl
