Ask A QuestionI bought the new easton XL1 this year. I've heard that dimpled balls, the ones used in batting cages, are unsafe to use with this bat. Is this true?
Dimpled pitching machine balls are known to be very dense and can cause damage to any bat. We recommend that you only use real leather baseballs in the batting cage, or use a different bat strictly for batting cage use.
Which is better 2013 DeMarini CF5 or Easton XL1?
Both the DeMarini CF5 and the Easton XL1 are two-piece composite bats that are great choices. They will perform just about the same in terms of pop and performance. The main difference between the two is the XL1 has a slight end loaded feel to it and the CF5 is a balanced bat.
What separates the XL1 from the S1 ?
The S1 is evenly balanced. The XL1 will have a more endloaded feel.
