Product Description
Out of a small Indiana town 50 miles east of Chicago, Hoosier Bat Company is quickly becoming the bat of choice for major and minor league players. If you want to be a Major Leaguer you have to use wood and birch is the choice wood for all of Hoosier's Major League players. The reason being is that birch bats share many of the desirable characteristics of maple and ash. Birch bats are more flexible and lighter than maple, this allows for bigger barrels without sacrificing swing speed. They are also stronger, longer lasting, and do not flake like ash bats. The HB125 has a 2 and a half inch barrel and a 15/16 inch handle. All of the Hoosier Bat Co. bats are made from quality wood and crafted to exacting standards. About Hoosier Bat Co
We began manufacturing bats in 1991. We have two bats in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown – One is Sammy Sosa for the year he and McGuire were in the home run chase. The other is Lance Johnson for back to back years, most hits in two different leagues. June 28, 2007 Frank Thomas hit his 500th Home Run with aHoosier Bat!
Every season we have 30-40 Major League players. We have several minor league players. We also sell to colleges, high schools and youth leagues. We ship bats to Japan, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Sweden and more.
