KR3's origins date back over 100 years, making them the second oldest bat factory in the world. Recently, KR3 brought in MLB Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar to serve in an advisory role and help KR3 deliver the best bats to players across North America. It is this combined expertise of 100 years of bat making and 16 years of MLB experience that has taken KR3 to the next level. This steel hardened ash wood bat is cut from the finest Northern White Ash wood available. All of the wood KR3 uses has been hand selected to ensure straight grain wood with less than 8 grains per inch. Each billet is then turned at low speeds to ensure perfection. All ash bats are bone rubbed in the factory and treated with a special grain sealing technique. This ensures hardness and durability while giving the bat a boost in power and hitting distance. Finally, each bat is hand sanded for an unbeatable balanced feel. This C243 turn has a 2.55 inch barrel diameter and a 0.925 inch handle diameter. It is only available in a 33 inch model.
