Pros: What are the weights for this bat?
Cons: Awesome Bat, No Cons
Pros: i used this bat today with my friend and right when i hit it on the sweetspot i whacked a homerun it was sick
Cons: It stingssssss
Pros: If you tape this bat it lasts a little longer. It is a great bat for you to practice your swing. It lasted me three months which is great considering i used it everyday.
Cons: breaks easily in the cages like today it broke...
Pros: Good size and weight for kids.
Cons: It broke on FIRST DAY!!! I took about 50 hits practicing and it broke.
Pros: the ball jumps more off this bat than all the others FAST SHIPPING
Cons: STINGS really bad when you dont catch it solid
Pros: bough 4, each weigted defrent .Great bat and really fast shipping
Cons: none great bat
Pros: Today my teammates used is and said it was good now they are buying it! Good wood bat for practicing
Cons: none
Pros: When you hit with this bat on sweet spot the ball will go quite a distance into the outfield. Great amount of pop.
Cons: Ridiculously end weighted, if you buy 30 inch it feels like two pounds.
Pros: This is a (-8) bat - I had it professionally weighed. It's an excellent bat for game and BP (off real baseballs). It's weight is mostly in the meat of the barrel, so it might lag or angle down through the hitting zone for the younger players.
Cons: None - wish they made a black version.
Pros: The weight is great for a young player. My 9 yr old son swinging it in the off-season to build strength. Nice pop and distance. The price makes this bat an awesome value.
Cons: None
Pros: Big sweet spot, "miracle" pop to weight ratio (not weight to length), makes your swing faster. If you are trying out for a team or just want to look good when playing THIS IS THE BAT!
Cons: You have to adjust your swing because this bat is so light, barrel feels a little thin and you need to get a grip (ex: tennis racket grip) because it does sting. One last thing, this bats weight is not consistent so one out of every 5 buyers will get one that feels heavy so it's a little bit of a lottery
Pros: I got this bat a month before little league started so I could work on my upper body strength and bat speed. This is the third I've had I had a couple of them when I was younger and now I've gotten another and it's great. It's also pretty cheap so you don't buy a $60 bat and then just snap it.
Cons: Breaks pretty easily.
Pros: awsome bat youll hit it every time if you get use to it
Cons: if your just starting its heavy and breaks easy DONT use in FAST pitch baseball it stings realy bad
Pros: Very nice pop I love that bat
Cons: Not any
Pros: I purchased the bat for Christmas but have not opened so I can wrap as is. I have ordered this bat a couple times before, and it's always great.
Cons:
Pros: Really cool bat.
Cons: None.
Pros: This bat is the best, I mean the price is so good what you get for! And it has a good sweet spot and great pop
Cons: This is better than my marucci youth bat and rawlings bat too
Pros: Great swing weight for a 12 year old boy. Full tip (not hollowed)gives great power for stronger kids.
Cons: No cons.
Pros: Great bat for the price. Start your kids young with a wood bat prior to using a metal bat. It will help all around with his or her swing.
Cons: none
Pros: good pop and feel
Cons: handle needs tape, a little slippery but that comes with most wood bats
Pros: Brought this as an exact replacement on one my son enjoyed using but had shattered. They said the bat would arrive btwn Thurs & Fri...arrived Thurs. Early is always good! Great pop, gets great hits Unfortunately the bat shattered in the 1st game...not their fault, its always a risk with wood bats did get a double and a triple off of it but 3rd at bat it shattered on an inside pitch. I called customer service and they were very pleasant and professional. As a courtesy they credited me $10 bcz the bat had gone on sale after I purchased it, and have given me a 10% discount towards a future purchase. I will definitely be using them again!!
Cons: Wood is alwsys risky!
Pros: I love everything about it.
Cons: I have none.
Pros: has good pop, doesnt hurt ur hands and feels really good off the sweetspot
Cons: broke the first pitch in a game when i havent ever used it in a game
Pros: great bat for soft toss in cage
Cons: it breaks easily. it broke on my third game. only 10.
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: My son is 12 and 4' 10" and 60 pounds. He broke this bat in batting practice doing light hitting. It never made it to a game! He only hit a dozen balls with it.
Pros: My dad was a professional baseball player in the 1920s and 30s. When he bought me this bat, he rubbed tobacco juice on it with a cloth until it was a deep amber color. He said it made the bat last longer. I used that bat for several years and do not remember ever breaking it. It was pretty neat having a personalized slugger. He also made shallow grooves up and down the handle with a folded bottle cap to improve the grip.
Cons: Are you kidding?
Pros: Fun to use it has a lot of pop I used it in a few games I had 1 home run and 2 doubles with it.
Cons: A little heavy

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
