Louisville Slugger M9 Maple Wood Bat: M9M110BNC review by Catcher for Life
Pros: Great bat! Sweet spot is huge and ball jumps off this maple monster. Highly recommend this bat to anyone. Had it for a year now and up until the last game getting jammed it was the best maple ive had. Gotta buy another one now .... wont play without it. Cons:Wish it wasn't two tone ... id rather have the whole maple look.... doesn't take anything away from the bat though... just personnel preference.

Product Description

The Louisville Slugger M9 maple wood bat is well known on baseball diamonds everywhere. Louisville Slugger uses professional grade, hand-picked maple to make this bat. Maple is a very dense timber with a greater surface hardness than ash, leading many players to believe it gives them a sizable bump in performance. Maple wood is a very close-grained timber, and this unique grain structure prevents the barrel from flaking. The quality of timber used by Louisville Slugger on these bats is second to none, making for a very high quality product. The M9 maple is also kiln dried for optimum moisture content. The pro cupped end on these M9 maple bats is ideal for controlling the weight for maximum bat speed, since maple can tend to be a bit heavier. The medium barrel offers one of the best sweet spots possible without compromising durability. The strength of the maple bats make them perfect for high school, college, adult, minor leagues, and major leagues. The number of major leaguers using maple wood bats has increased each year as their performance and durability have been unmatched. Louisville Slugger: The Official Bat of Major League Baseball. After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were bo.... read more
