Ask A QuestionMy 12 y.o. daughter uses the Catalyst FP12C2 (31") as her "good" bat (and loves it). I need a similar length & weight & feel (& much cheaper) practice bat for use with pitching machines -- would this be a reasonable bat to consider for that purpose?

The biggest difference is that the FP12CY is going to be a youth model and it is also an alloy design versus the composite design of the FP12C2. With that being said, you are only paying $29.99 for a practice bat and you are saving the life span of her game bat.

The TPS Catalyst has a nice balanced swing weight, so it won't swing as heavy as some of the other bats on the market. The Catalyst is designed for a youth player, so it will fit a 7 year old softball player very well.
