The Louisville Slugger TPX Armor: YB12A Youth is not BBCOR certified. All BBCOR bats have a -3 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8" barrel, and are certified for use in high school and collegiate play. Some middle school and younger leagues are moving towards using the certification, but no major associations currently require the certification before age 11.
