Description
It's time to step up and attack the diamond, because the two-piece composite just changed forever! Louisville Slugger proudly introduces their new two-piece composite bat suitably named the TPX Attack. The Attack BBCOR debuts Louisville Slugger's new two-piece T2 Technology. This revolutionary new transition technology strengthens the link between the barrel and handle to give the Attack a trampoline spring and virtually eliminates vibration on contact. This straighter, thicker rubber ring results in a bat that is not only sturdier, but gives players an unparalleled feel of the ball jumping off the bat. Rather than thicken the barrel walls to meet BBCOR standards, Louisville Slugger has inserted a 1" wide graphite band. This Flex Band Technology allows the Attack to have the lowest swing weight of any BBCOR bat, and it's small enough that the sweet spot feels just like your old BESR bat! The Attack is constructed from Louisville Slugger's LS-2X Composite that uses thinner, high-strength and lightweight graphite fibers to add more layers to the barrel for reinforced strength, while reducing the overall thickness of the barrel wall. More pop, less weight: that's the formula for better performance AND durability. ATTACK the strike zone like never before with the Louisville Slugger Attack BBCOR! Louisville Slugger: Be the Best, or Swing the Rest! It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Cons: nothing to complain about.
Slugger
Pros: No sting, very balanced. Great feel!
Cons: non
LazerShowMike
Pros: Hit this bat in the cage 4-5 times. The bat feels like one of the most balanced BBCOR I have swung. The ball seemed to jump off the composite barrel top to bottom. On miss hits in didnt vibrate like most other BBCOR bats. I was very impressed and finally feel like I got my money's worth out of a BBCOR bat.
Cons: $399.99 yikes... Best bat around, but not sure any bat is worth that money.
gingerbeast
Pros: I use this bat in my hitting lessons and its the best bat i have ever used it is balanced all around and has a shock obsorber in the neck somewhere so it dosen't sting
Cons: $400 is a lot of money but worth it
Boy
Pros: Very well balanced, it doesn't feel like a drop 3 bat, no shock on miss hits, very good pop, nice sound off the barrel, no loud irritating pings!
Cons: none...the bat is indeed worth the money.
Thestud
Pros: Best bat on the market. I just started to use mine and it's already as good as my broken-in Easton S1.
Cons: None.
thornumber4

Cons: nothing, money is no issue with this bat

Cons: beast
fish
Pros: Great bat and is evenly balanced.
Cons: Used it not even two days at practice and it broke near the rubber on the bat. $400 down the drain.
sav
Pros: when you hit it on the sweet spot its great!
Cons: 400$ is way over priced for this bat and I really didnt like it. Sweet spot seems really small and there are better bats for the money
Why
Pros: Nicely balanced.
Cons: Have been waiting for warmer weather to use bat in game. In 2 games, bat broke just above rubber connection. Expensive.
Anonymous
Pros: My son loves this bat. Great pop once we broke it in. Finally hit his first and the schools first middle school home run this year. He was on the team last year and they hit 17 home runs. Best BBCOR bat out there.
Cons: Just had to wait for weather to warm up a bit.
AZ Tigers
Pros: My sophomore son says great bat and he's tried them all.
Cons: Didn't make it through 10 games without 2 large cracks and rubber lose
Two Strikes
Pros: Bat is nice and light as a -3 goes, nice pop with a good hit, also no sting when a fowl ball is hit. All around good bat.
Cons: Handle (end piece) I notice started chipping, The bat has had at lest 500+ hits off T-stand and soft toss. The end piece handle has never hit the ground, don't know whats causing it to chip.
Hosa
Pros: I just got this bat and it is amazing. It has kind of the same feel as the S1 and you can feel the bat flex when the ball jumps off the bat. It kind of sounds like a wood bat and I love the sound of it. The S1 feels lighter and all that but the Attack is just so smooth through the zone. It is a very well balanced bat. Not as good as the S1 but it's right behind it.
Cons: None.
David
Pros: Solid hitting bat right out of the plastic. sounds slightly like a wood bat when you hit it on the sweet spot.
Cons: If you don't like to feel the bat flex this isn't the bat for you. Obviously different than a 1-piece bat.
AZDinger
Pros: Pop, Feel, Power.
Cons: $400 and didn't make half way through HS season, 2 cracks and loose rubber.
Hawaii
Pros: Good Bat the team uses it...
Cons: 1 Bat crack in practice just 2 weeks right above rubber. Sent in for warranty got 2 Bat crack again same place 1 1/2 wk. Lasted...Not worth it unless you gonna keep sending it for WARRANTY...
Hutch13
Pros: Ball jumps off the bat.
Cons: First bat cracked and band. Took three weeks to get replacement bat and it also cracked after just a few at bats.
High school varsity player
Pros: The Perfect bat! Break-in period? I don't think so! My first at bat I popped up. When I came up again I hit a shot of the fence!
Cons: Nothing. Not even price. You pay for quality!
Rob
Pros: Great swing distribution and well balanced. Both my boys loved it from the onset.
Cons: Lasted 2 tournaments (10 games). The top half came loose from the handle, bottom half.....hence a true two piece.

goog
Pros: has good pop
Cons: breaks very easily and wen i ordered the replacement, it stinks
none
Pros: None.
Cons: Only hit with it for 12 pitches and it broke right above the rubber.
Great bat Hotcorner44 player
Pros: Lots of pop, balance feel, big sweet spot
Cons: Bad grip with no batting gloves
Best Bat Ever Nick Garofalo player
Pros: The best bat I've ever swung in my life. when you connect with the ball it fly's of the bat. there is no sting when you swing. it feels like hitting a cloud. I've used this for 2 weeks and already have had more extra base hits than I had last fall.
Cons: the price wasn't an issue at all. worth every dime. BUT if you want the bat to last, you got to break it in and swing it probably 200-250 times of a tee or soft toss and turn in 1/4 turn after each swing.
Breaks Easily Bombsquad98 player
Pros: When i first got it, it had above and beyond pop. So balanced compared to my XL1, but the XL lasted me about 16 months longer until it broke. The attack is a great bat, but dont waste your money if your looking for a bat to last.
Cons: Connection between the two peices broke after a month.
keeps BREAKING parent parent

toothpick
Pros: Good pop!!!
Cons: Broke after about 10 games!! Even hit 200 plus balls off tee and soft toss to break it in!!! Very dissatisfied with the quality!!
Jeff coach
Pros: Bat per as advertised for 3 months, and my 14u loved it.
Cons: Bat went "dead" meaning no apparent surface defect, but something broke internally that rendered the bat "dead" (NO POP). JustBats only referred me to Louisville for warranty, and they refused to even issue me an RMA # because there are surface damage (what I get for being honest i guess). So I'm out $200. Last Louisville bat I will buy and will pass along in my league.
Baseball fan
Pros: The ball took off the bat. I loved the sound it made. The all composite makes it a big help at the plate. Very we'll balanced on top of it all.
Cons: It broke on me in less than 2 weeks with less than 50 hits.
Love this bat Joel player
Pros: I love this bat. Has a nice smooth hit. And I hit my first home run with it
Cons: Their are no cons!
JoSoMo
Pros: Nice looking bat right now of the wrapper. It has fanatics pop the 1st swing you have with it. Extremely balanced for a BBCOR bat compared to the CF5 and XL 1. Overall the best composite BBCOR baseball I have ever used.
Cons: Broke in the 1st month, I go the replacement and broke it in on the tee (250-500) hits, had my teammate do soft toss, and then had him pitch slow so the bat would break in nicely. The bat never broke after that.
OK bat BigS player
Pros: Has a good feel with little to no vibration Super durable
Cons: not good pop not well balanced

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
