Pros: Just received Friday & used for coach pitch BP today with 2 All-Star 6U's (about 300 hits). Excellent pop, especially off the sweet spot. Ball seemed to carry well. Competitive, if not better that Rival (27/17) All-Star team uses. Can't wait to see in game action!! Great sound off bat too!
Cons: None thus far, brand new bat but BP put smiles on our face and they both loved using!!
Hotdog
Pros: We bought a 29/19 and a 28/18 for out 9U travel team. The kids love these bats and get great pop off of the bat. Players have several of the other Big Barrel bats but right now these are the most used bats on the team. First game out we put up 18 runs. Kids have confidence in these bats and that is everything.
Cons: Nothing bad at this time.
Buck_I
Pros: The bat has pop.
Cons: After two weeks of use by my 13u kid, it feels more like a cricket bat. This thing is flattened on both sides now. Will see what Louisville Slugger says about the replacement. Rating would be higher if it held up to more than 2 weeks worth of use.
Radio Tragedy
Pros: Beautifully designed, great pop, and a huge hitting surface. All of the kids on our 13U team love the bat, and after over a month of use there is no noticeable defects. Great investment!
Cons: Some don't like the grip, but LS has never been known for their grips. All personal preference there anyway.
Anonymous
Pros: my son is 12 yrs old and loves the bat. i took him and a friend to hit and they hit 11-12 homeruns the first time out. great pop
Cons: none
Anonymous
Pros: We just purchase 3 of these bats all different lengths for our 13 and Under traveling baseball team that has just gotten started. The boys love them. Bats have a a lot of energy and performed well for us in our 1st tournament. No visible issue with dings or dents or paint after initial use and have been using them regularly for 3 weeks now. Appear to be excellent bats for the money.
Cons: None to date.
Anonymous
Pros: I love this bat. Ton of pop and a really long barrel. Lousville Slugger has done it again.
Cons:
CDOG
Pros: Wow, awesome bat, what did LS do to this thing they call Omaha??? We have tried all bats and previous Omahas, son was amazed by distance/feel and sound!!!
Cons: Much more pop than previous years Omahas--Is this LS's response to the Rival??? Bigger Barrel--huge pop & distance--Way to go LS!
JAS
Pros: Omaha always a solid bat. Son has been using them through 3 years of travel ball. Generally performs at least as well as much more expensive bats.
Cons: Very unforgivingto balls not hit the sweet spot. Still able to be driven, but more sting thsan most when hit off the barrel or the taper
Coach Todd
Pros: It's nice looking and has some pop to it.
Cons: After only one BP session, the 29/19 I purchased for my 10-year-old was badly dented. I was shocked that it didn't hold up longer than that. I plan on sending back for a warranty replacement, but I feel like I wasted $180. I've already replaced it with a new CF5 which is by far a better bat.
feelin' alright
Pros: Feels solid, has a large hitting surface and a ton of pop! 12u son has been swinging it for a few months now and it has shown very little signs of denting or damage! Great durability. Can't beat this bat for the price!
Cons: Grip is weak, but other than than no real complaints.
Kc Irish
Pros: Loads of pop. My 7 year old loves his 27/17 and so do his team mates. They are hitting the the ball like crazy.
Cons: None. Great service from JustBats.com. I'll be back for sure.
Spidey
Pros: Great bat!!!! Son love the way it feels and the ball sails off the bat. Worth the money!
Cons:
Jeff
Pros: None
Cons: This bat dented badly right on the barrel when my 11 year old son hit a home run. Another dent on the other side of the barrel on his next at bat. He likes the feel of the bat but it is not worth buying. Didn't make it through one tournament. Sending it back.
TG
Pros: Great bat for a great price
Cons: Love this bat
Horseman
Pros: This bat is really good. Even if you don't hit it on the sweet spot, the ball still goes stupid far.
Cons: NONE

Cons:
halfstack8
Pros:
Cons: Not as much "pop" as previous bats have had but seems to be holding up well (we've already been through 2 of the new bats, each getting dented within a few uses), grip ok
Chris
Pros: First tournament of the year and my 12-yr old hit his first homerun!!! This bat is hot and has shown no signs of wear so far. Been through many rounds of BP and one tourney and shows that TPX consistency.
Cons:
Anonymous
Pros: Great bat for stronger hitters. This bat will launch balls. Bat is well balanced.
Cons: Sweet spot is small compared to some other 2 3/4" bats.
Bug
Pros: Hits good, super lightweight
Cons: expense and thats about it! Love the bat!
Ugadawg
Pros: - Bat is weighted heaver toward the end which seems to transfer alot of power through the ball - My son is hitting better with this bat than he did with the Worth Lithium Prodigy bat which is at a similar price point - Bat seems to be forgiving with a large sweet spot
Cons: - Plastic tip on the top seems to "rattle" slightly when the bat touches the ground. May just be that I'm not used to this since my son's previous bat was the Worth Lithium Prodigy which was all aluminum through the end
Hunt
Pros: Bought the 27/17 for my son that is in coach pitch. Nice bat with allot of pop and good weight distribution. Easily outperforms the other expensive bats on the team.
Cons: None yet. Had it so far for 2 tournaments with no issues.
camilo vasquez
Pros: well-balanced..good pop..looks good..well designed
Cons: grip is not compatible with bare hands..even with gloves..odd feeling..bat should have different grip
viper
Pros: Balls jumps off bat.My 10 hit his first Homerun of the season the first time he used this bat.
Cons: none
Anonymous
Pros: My 8 yr old playing travel ball for first time started using the 27/17 XL and is consistently hitting the backwall of indoor ball. His teammates love the bat as well.
Cons: Aluminum bats are naturally very malleable. They dent easily but that's the nature of the material. You get what you pay for in this bat. You can spend more $$ for a more durable composite like the CF5.
RL
Pros: All the boys like it
Cons: Its got three dings from 13U players
The Bro MInster
Pros: Its a great bat. Lots of pop, good barrel and very light great bat
Cons:
10U Coach
Pros: I usually don't leave reviews, but this bat has been outstanding during our 10U travel schedule. It is a very firm feeling bat that the ball just explodes off. Turned many of our contact hitters that stuggled getting ball out of the infield into line drive machines. Everyone is going for doubles these days. Ton of pop compared to more expensive and lighter weight bats.
Cons:
cop
Pros: This bat is bossly.
Cons:

92thunder
Pros: Great bat, son plays in the 11u and got 1 homerun. Teammates using this same bat and one player hit a grand slam. Won competive tournament first weekend of use.
Cons: None yet but paint does scratches easy.
DJETS
Pros: This bat has definately increased my son's hitting, the bigger barrel of the bat allows him to hit the ball harder, and get more of the ball then his other bat with the 2 1/4 inch barrel.
Cons:
numba 7
Pros: this bat is complete awesomeness!I dont feel like writing a million reasons why to buy it soooooooooooo bye :)

Pros: So far, my son is very happy with this bat. The bat was shipped quickly, and my son acted like it was Christmas morning. The bat is very well balanced. As others have said, the ball really jumps. I think the 28/18 we purchased might have been a little big for him. When he gets a little stronger, he will maximize its performance.
Cons: none so far

Mustangs 5
Pros: Bat has great pop to it. The graphics are nice.
Cons: On my bat that I bought the graphics started to fall off and their wasn't a lot of pop to it towards the middle of the season. My bat also had minor dents and messed up my hitting.

Pros: Felt at first that I was buying a cheap bat do to the price.Bough itt for my 13old.Not being able to afford an expensive bat but I was told for the money it performes well. After seeing my kid hit. The pop it has and the way the ball comes of the bat was well worth the by. He has used it at batting cages quite a few time and games hardly has damage well built bat .31/27oz. Well balanced bat..

GB
Pros: Good pop and large sweet spot. Son is blasting the ball and his confidence is sky high. Ready for the season now!
Cons: Don't like the way the ball sounds off the bat, but that is so minor.
Fragile
Pros: Good door stop.
Cons: Dented the first time it was used. Very disappointed to spend $100+ on a bat that is useless after 5 swings.
BW
Pros: This bat (28/18) has great pop. It is my son's favorite bat and he's hit many HRs with it.
Cons: The bat dents too easy. I've been through 3 of these bats and they always dent within a few months. At first, I blamed the dents on the rubber balls from the pitching machines but the third bat proved to be just as fragile using only regulation baseballs. I'm going to buy a SL136XL for my son to use in Cooperstown but I won't buy another Omaha if this one dents quickly.
lil j- rod
Pros: This bat has amazzzzzzing pop and has great balance. I didn't hit anything in my first game using this bat, but can not stop hitting the ball now. I have used the Omaha since I was playing in t-ball and have only had one other bat. I love it.
Cons: Chips easy but that is nothing big. Great bat over all. I can't be any happier with the bat.
Anonymous
Pros: 7 year old uses this in machine pitch and loves it.

Worth the price Mr Mojo coach
Pros: Pretty decent bat for the money. some of these reviews are a little nuts. Dont expect your 11 year old to be going long ball on 300 foot fields.
Cons: paint chips pretty bad
great bat Jose parent
Pros: I got this for my 6yr old he is getting great pops off this bat. He is very happy too. Pops good in cages too.
Cons: None so far (2 weeks old).
Best bat for your money Steven Weatherly coach
Pros: This bat has tons of pop and with the extended barrel the sweet spot is huge. I bought this bat for my oldest son last fall and it has gone through him and my youngest son which was probably around almost 200 games plus who knows how many practices. I just purchased this bat again after buying the new Louisville Slugger Attack and being disappointed with the Attacks perfomance. This bat performs everytime and is very evenly balanced. My youngest son hits around .800 and is driving the ball much better bat than the new Attack or EXO.
Cons: None.
Louisville Omaha predator player player

What is the main differences between this model and the SL126 or the YB126BB? My son will be playing U8 coach pitch travel this spring and needs a big barrel bat. He has been using the easton stealth speed composite(28/17) for rec league and was having some problem getting around on the ball consistently. About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
