Ask A QuestionMy son is 6 1/2, 3'11" and around 45 lbs. playing Coach Pitch. What size barrel would you recommend for him?
Most Coach Pitch bats are generally 2 5/8" or 2 3/4" at length. If there isn't any league rules permitting a 2 3/4" barrel, then I would go with that. A bigger barrel will only give your son more room to hit and add confidence to his game.
My son is 5 feet tall and weighs 90 lbs. He is swinging a TPX Warrior 29/17 to help him get through the zone quicker. I see smaller players using larger bats. He likes this bat, is this appropriate size for him? Thoughts?
