Does this bat or any other Marucci youth bats come with a Harmonic Damper in the butt of the bat to reduce vibration? I know Marucci was using this a few years back in some of their bats. Dee

Marucci did use the Anti-Vibration knob in their 2012 models. Most versions of the CAT 5 and Black (MYB11) feature that knob technology. This Marucci Team (MYBT13) Red Youth bat, and other 2013 or later Marucci model, now utilize a Kevlar or Aramid Composite reinforced grip to help prevent sting.

My son is 5' 2" 134 lbs and 10 yrs old. He crushes a Marruci 30" 22 oz, but he needs a 2 1/4" barrel. He is not swinging well with a 30/18. What are your recommendations? john

Especially if he is currently swinging a 30" 22 oz. currently, I would recommend going with a 31" in the Marucci Team (MYBT13) as it is a -13. I think he would swing a 31" 18 oz. much better than the 30" 18 oz.
