Pros: The V-Grip gave my son the know-how, and the bat gave him confidence. Hits the ball solid. Great Bat! Cons:The paint finish was a bit slick for my 8 year old. used some grip tape...not a problem.

Pros: V-Grip technology helps keep your hands properly lined on the bat. I think, comparing this to metal, that wood bats create such a solid hit that it is unbeilievably! All you do is make contact with the ball and BAMM!!! Home Run! And they're only selling it for $40. Cons:Heavy, have to adapt to weight, but it's worth it

Just checking the weight of the 30" and 31" bat?

The 30" Mattingly V-Grip would be approximate 27oz-28 oz. The Mattingly V-Grip 31" would be approximate 28oz-29oz.
