Ask A QuestionMy son is a contact hitter. Which of the Metalstorm products gives him the opportunity for more bat speed and balanced feel, while promoting as much power on contact as a contact hitter can get? The white one-piece or black two-piece?
If he is a contact hitter, the Metalstorm Green Diamond: MS2PGD5 Senior League, which is a two-piece bat would be recommended. Two-piece bats will have more flex and help to increase bat speed for a contact hitter.
Is this bat more balanced than the Easton XL3 -5?
The Metalstorm White Dragon: MS1PWD5 Senior League has a very balanced swing weight while the 2013 Easton XL3: SL13X35 Senior League is going to be slightly endloaded.
What are the advantages to having a 2 3/4" bat to a 2 5/8" bat?
The 2 3/4" barrel gives you a larger surface area to make solid contact with the ball. Some leagues do not allow this barrel size though, so you need to verify that the 2 3/4" barrel is legal for your league.
