The 2012 Metalstorm White Dragon would be a great choice. The White Dragon is a balanced bat.
So this bat doesn't have the USSSA stamp? Can you recommend a different bat like this?

I am considering this bat as a good tweener between a drop 10 and drop 5 for my 12 year old, whose 5'9". Besides cosmetically, are there any differences between this model and the MS1PGD8? It appears to be the same bat with different graphics and a different price. Thank you.
You are right. The difference is just the cosmetics. Everything else between the two bats are the same. I it is a great option for your son.
