Description

New for After being drafted out of Missouri State University in 2002 and spending a brief stint in minor league baseball, Jeremy Isenhower has since taken over the slow pitch game and has earned the honor of having his own signature Miken bat! The new Freak Ink SuperMax is one of the hottest bats to hit the field in years! Made from Miken's renowned R900 Composite, the Freak Ink is proven to outperform and outlast any other bat on the field. This is due in part to the MPa7 Resin System that is exclusively calibrated to optimize the performance and resilience of Miken's premium carbon fiber materials. These fibers are then precisely aligned and bonded using Multilayer Biaxial Technology to produce unrivaled durability and performance. Finally, Miken adds their proprietary Durashell Technology to act as a composite shield on the outer shell and maximize performance out of the wrapper. The Freak Ink features Miken's SuperMax end-load that helps stronger players get the most out of every cut they take! The handle of the Freak Ink is wrapped with Miken's new X-Tack PLUS that provides extreme knob grip for even more control. And just like Jeremy Isenhower, the Miken Freak Ink SuperMax is made in the U.S.A.! Miken: We Don't Play the Game, We Dominate It! The Freak Ink is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

WICK

Pros: after minor breakin time (rubber mallot action and hanging sball medium hits) the bat performed great - 450 ft 1st hit out of BLD yankee in LV. Destroyed the 3rd baseman when pulling down the line with this 30oz bat (the extra weight keeps it inside 3rd baseline) slammed some tripples and doubles off the right center wall and more HRs up the middle and LC. Not bad for the first 2 games the fiber is fex'n andready to go.

Cons: none yet

Which is better Miken Freak Ink or Resmondo Legit? phelps
The 2013 Miken Freak Ink SuperMax USSSA (IZZYMU) and the Resmondo Legit both feature an end loaded swing weight, typically preferred by power hitters. The main difference between these two bats will be the one-piece design featured in the Freak Ink or the two-piece design of the Resmondo Legit. Power hitters tend to prefer stiffness of the one-piece design. Two-piece bats tend to have more flex so they are generally preferred by contact hitters who may need the extra "give" the two-piece design offers. Ultimately, both are high performing models, it depends on what kind of design you prefer.
Tessa L.

Is there any harm to letting the whole team use my bat? What are the chances of this reducing the lifetime of the bat? What suggestions can you offer? "That guy"
The Miken Freak Ink SuperMax USSSA (IZZYMU) Slow Pitch like all composite bats, will have an increased lifespan if the use is limited to a single player. It can be difficult to tell other players no, but limiting it to personal use will help prolong the performance and lifespan of the bat.
Patrick
Is this bat approved under the new rules, 1.20 BPF? Kirk
The Miken Freak Ink SuperMax USSSA (IZZYMU) has the new USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp.
Kara
How do you know if you have a SuperMax or Maxload? Shift
Bats like the Miken Freak Ink SuperMax USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (IZZYMU) should be labeled with what type of end-loading weight they have. With the differences only being about a half ounce in swing weight between the two, it would be tough for the average player to be able to differentiate between the two just by feel.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
