Description

Always looking to take their baseball bats to the next level, Miken proudly introduces the new Triad! The two-piece Triad defies Miken's conventional one-piece design, but is still made with the same high grade carbon fiber Miken's fans are used to. Triad is not only the name of the bat, but also the name of Miken's newest technology. Triad Technology revolutionizes bat construction by using triple pressure application to harness the thermal expansion of Mken's high grade aerospace carbon. The result is unparalleled durability and jaw-dropping performance! The handle of the Triad is made with Vortex Technology that uses the power of a braided reinforcement to increase the strength of the handle and optimize performance. Each braided layer distributes the load evenly, while all layers move seamlessly together for optimal flex and performance. On the barrel end, the Triad features a new expanded sweetspot that maximizes barrel flex and eliminates vibration! The Triad is proudly manufactured in the U.S.A. Miken: We Don't Play the Game, We Dominate It! The Triad features the USSSA 1.15 BPF Stamp. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Very similar to the CF5 but less money. 10 year old son swings it well in the cage. So far so good.

Cons: Like all composites, the time it takes to break it in.

Hot, but junky! Disappointed Son parent

Pros: Very good pop. Actually great pop!

Cons: This bat is used by a 9 yr old. After 20 games barrel cracked. Received replacement in 5 days. With approximately 360 balls through second bat it has now cracked also. :( No matter how hot a bat is, they're no good if they brake!

CRAZY HOT RIGHT OUT OF WRAPPER J J parent

Pros: This is the 3rd Miken my 11 year old has played within the last 2 years. The Triad is insane hot right out of the box. Great feel & balance. We also have a DeMarini CF5 & Easton Mako. When compared to these other bats it's not even close to the same level of POP the Triad has (however the Mako is still very new). Overall this is a GREAT bat, especially when you consider how much these bats are selling for.

Cons: Not available with a 2 3/4" barrel Mikens are prone to breaking (that applies every baseball or softball bat I've been around) Cheap Grip & Tape

How does this bat compare to the 2013 CF5? Gdubu
Both the Miken Triad and DeMarini CF5 will both be two-piece balanced composite bats. Both of these bats will perform very well, and both will have similar sized sweet spots.
Noah
What is the difference in a one piece composite and a two piece composite bat as it relates to performance gw
There will not be a difference in performance. However, two-piece bats like the Miken Triad: STRI10 Senior League will provide more flex than a one-piece bat.
Kara
Will this bat have a faster swing compared to the new 2013 Combat B4 bat? My son is 9 years old and 70 pounds average height. Which is better for a faster swing one piece bat or a two piece bat? Thanks. P63
Both the Miken Triad: STRI10 Senior League and the COMBAT B4 Portent: B4SL1 -10 Senior League are very balanced bats and will have a quick swing. We recommend two-piece bats for contact hitters and one-piece bats are best suited for a power hitters.
Kara
Is the Miken Triad 2 5/8" Senior League bat legal in Pony baseball? Bigdaddybb
The Miken Triad: STRI10 Senior League bat will be new for 2013. It will have the necessary updated USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. This bat will be a two-piece all composite design. I would make sure your Pony league allows composite bats. Maybe ask a coach or league official.
Brandon
How does the Triad compare to the TPX Attack in swing, durability, and sweet spot? Jomak
The Miken Triad will be very comparable to the TPX Attack. Both are fully composite, two-piece bats that have a balanced swing.

I'm going with this one, the Marucci Elite, or the Easton S1. For a contact hitter that doesn't generate much bat speed on their own which one of the three would be the most balanced and easily swung bat for a contact hitter? Jim
The Marucci Elite is going to be the most balanced bat out of the three you listed.
Noah
Is this bat good for kid pitch ball? elsa

Robert

The Miken Triad: STRI10 Senior League bat features a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter.
Aubrey

Merritt
I see several negative reviews regarding the durability of this bat. Is this a common issue for this model? I am looking for a bat that will hold up over the course of a travel ball season. Coach B
Customer reviews will really be your best insight into certain aspects of a bat, including it's durability. The Miken Triad Senior League Baseball Bat (STRI10) is still backed by a 12 month warranty through Miken, but the 2014 Miken Triad Xtreme Senior League Baseball Bat (STRD10) would be the newest version that features upgraded composite for increased durability and performance.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
