Description

Always looking to take their softball bats to the next level, Miken proudly introduces the new Triad Xtreme fastpitch bat! The two-piece Triad Extreme defies Miken's conventional one-piece composite design, but is still made with the same high grade carbon fiber Miken's fans are used to. Triad is not only the name of the bat, but also the name of Miken's newest technology. TRIAD XTREME Technology uses proprietary layering of high strength fibers at XTREME temperatures, unleashing the ultimate sweetspot and improving hot out of the wrapper durability. The result is unparalleled durability and jaw-dropping performance! The handle of the Triad is made with Vortex Technology that uses the power of a braided reinforcement to increase the strength of the handle and optimize performance. Each braided layer distributes the load evenly, while all layers move seamlessly together for optimal flex and performance. The barrel of the Triad Xtreme features an expanded sweetspot that maximizes barrel flex, and decreases vibration for an incredibly smooth swing. The Triad Xtreme also has a low M.O.I. for added swing speed that will equal extra distance. As with all of this year's Miken fastpitch bats, the Triad Xtreme is proudly made in the U.S.A.! Miken: Don't Play the Game, Dominate It! XTREME DISTANCE! XTREME DURABILITY! The Triad is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, and ISA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Not Quite There Moses parent

Pros: Didn't really have any pros in our experience.

Cons: Soft from the start. On a team that brought four Miken Triads 32/22 and one Miken Triad (Gold) 33/23 into the line up. In less than two months, two are broken and the other three are not being used. Just seemed that there really was not pop to the bats.

Nothing bad to say Michael French parent

Pros: My daughter has nothing bad to say about this bat. This bat has plenty of pop. After breaking it in she is hitting the ball 15 to 20ft farther than her other bats.

Cons: Nothing bad to say.

How does this bat compare to the 2014 Worth Legit FPLG10 and the 2014 DeMarini CF6? Iowa Dad
The 2014 Miken Triad Xtreme (FPTR10) will be comparable to both the 2014 Worth Legit and the 2014 DeMarini CF6. All models feature the two-piece composite design, so they will need to go through a break in period to get it game ready and properly broken in. The Triad and the Legit both have a balanced swing weight, typically preferred by contact hitters. The DeMarini CF6 has an end loaded swing weight, commonly preferred by power hitters.

How does this bat compare to the last Miken Freak NXT and 2014 Xeno? Also, do you know the actual weight on the 31/21? Hogzilla72
The 2014 Miken Triad Xtreme Fastpitch Softball Bat (FPTR10) features a very balanced two-piece composite design. It will eliminate more hand sting and vibration compared to the older Freak NXT was a full one-piece composite design. The FPTR10 will compare very closely in design to the XENO. Both are very balanced and fully composite two-piece designs.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
