The only wood bats that require an actual BBCOR stamp are bamboo bats. Every other adult wood bat automatically meets BBCOR standards and does not require a BBCOR stamp. The Mizuno Classic Maple Wood Bat: MZM110 meets BBCOR standards and is approved for play.
I have my son's bat from last year- it broke when he lent it to someone! So I'm trying to get my son a replacement but don't know the size. He's 5' 11", a power hitter. The current bat has the number 2 and "1Z" on the top and is MZM110 Black/Brown Adult bat.
Wood bat manufacturers will typically identify the length of the bat by a number engraved on the knob of the bat or the end of the bat. A 32" bat will be identified on the bat with a "2", a 33" bat will be a "3", etc... So, if his Mizuno Classic Maple Wood Bat: MZM110 bat had a "2" on it, that would indicate it was a 32" model.
