The Mizuno Classic fungo is unlike anything else on the market. This fungo is made from Chinese Whitewood (also known as White Wax Wood), which is one of the most shock absorbent woods available. Prized in China for thousands of years, whitewood is hard and tough, yet has terrific flexibility. With multiple pieces of Chinese whitewood layered together, this fungo provides an outstanding feel and superior durability. This 36.5" long fungo bat is specifically designed for outfield fly practice, but can also be utilized for infield practice as well. Anyone that has coached is well aware that hitting grounders and fly balls to their team can be tiring. The unique shape of fungo bats makes them lightweight and extremely easy to swing without wearing out your arms. This fungo bat will make it feel like you're swinging a bat that is a fraction of the weight of a normal bat, and will give you extra distance even when you swing easy.
