Pros: Great bat! Has more pop than any other wood bat. I hit a homerun with one hand with this bat that's how much pop it has.

Cons: Does not last at all! First one broke after 5 at bats. Mizuno took 2 months to send me another through warranty. New one lasted 3 at bats. Not sure if the price is worth 5 at bats.

Pros: Like everyone else good pop

Cons: I have broke two bats. First was my 1st at bat. 2nd was 4th at bat, wish I never got them. Plus bats are getting expensive being it costs $10 dollars for every bat I have to ship back. I had the bamboo mizuno last year and at least that lasted 3 months(just out of warranty). Everyone else on my team that bought one(approx. 6 players) also unhappy with ease of bats breaking.

Cons: Broken after 5 at bats (roughly 20 pitches). For $90, it should last a little longer.

Pros: the bat has great pop. I use it in the cage hasn't broken. Just cause it is a composite doesn't mean you don't have to hit with the trademark.

Cons: a little top heavy.

Pros: Good pop for a wood/comp. Doesn't break easily like everyone actually says. Ya'll need to learn how to hit with wood. Mine lasted a year and half and I play 150+ games a year...

Cons: The only con I can see is that it's not the best material Mizuno has and if you really want to get a good Mizuno buy the Pro Maples...but if you can't hit with wood and break a lot just buy a demarini comp...

Pros: Excellent pop. I absolutely murder the ball with this bat. Better than other composites that I have tried.

Cons: I have broken 2 on inside pitches. I expect more durability from composite bats, but the pop makes it worth it to me to keep going back. Anyone who says "learn how to hit with wood" has not been jammed yet. It will break. I have had solid maple last longer. If you are good enough that you never get jammed you should be pro and would not be using composite bats anyway. Despite all that, I still like it and the 90 day warranty is fairly hassle free.

Great bat! Brendan player

Pros: Bought this bat 2 months ago(been hitting about 800 balls a week on average so I'm getting use out of it). It's been very good to me. Fairly good pop, sweet spot is average. It looks very nice when you buy it. Just yesterday I hit a line drive off the handle and it handled it well. No breaks yet and the warranty would certainly cover it if it did.

Cons: The bat dents pretty easily. After the first day I noticed there were some dents, but it does not really affect the performance.

Z-man

Pros: Good pop, longevity, and weighted well. Slightly slightly top heavy which I believe is better for power. If u have quick hands this is a nice bat. Used all for an entire year, on field and cage, going on year two in April

Cons: Knob is a little too smooth. Not much stopping your hand from slipping. But, I tape all my bats Until it feels right so who cares

I was under the awareness that the 271 turning model was a balanced bat. However, I was recently told by a knowledgable source that the 271 was an end loaded turning model. Everything that I've found seems to contradict this leading me to suspect they simply made a mistake. Could you confirm this? Also, how does this bat compare to the DeMarini DX110 model both in specifications and performance? James
I can tell you from years of experience that different players have different ideas of what an endloaded or balanced wood bat feels like. In my opinion, a 271 turning model is balanced for a wood bat. However, I do know some players who have below average strength and swing speed and feel the 271 is slightly endloaded. The DX110 is similar in balance, durability and performance.
Tyler
Is MZC271 a balanced model or is the MZC62 balanced model? KV
Both the Mizuno Composite Wood Bat: MZC271 and the MZC62 are balanced models.
Kevin
