The CX2 will be a two piece full composite, while the MC2 will be a two piece with an alloy barrel and composite handle.

This bat is approved for Little League play for 2012. If you are looking for the USSSA thumbprint stamp this would not have it. Only senior league bats will be required to feature the stamp for 2012.

How many swings does it take to get it broke in? Can you use it in cold weather and if you can how cold? StatMachine
A composite barrel bat usually takes 100-200 hits off a tee or doing soft toss. Make sure to rotate the handel a quarter inch to break in the bat evenly. Do not use this bat in temps lower than 55-60 degrees.

Currently we do not have a Nike model that meets your requirements on weight. We do have the Nike Aero Thunder that is a -12.5. Check out the Easton XL3: YB11X3, it's getting some really nice feedback.

The Aero can be used at any temperature effectively. We just don't recommend using any bat when the temperature is under 45 degrees and below.

This bat says it is multi wall, is that basically saying that it is a double wall bat like the CF4 and CF5 or this consider a single wall bat? mike
This bat does have a multi- wall barrel. With that being said it can have anywhere from two or more walls. If you are needing a more specific answer, Nike would probably be better able to help you and they can be reached at 1-800-344-6453.

Unfortunately, TYBA doesn't provide much information as to what is approved. But this Nike Aero CX2: BT0636 Youth *DEMO No Warranty* has been banned in essentially every large Youth Baseball organization, so this bat is likely not be approved for TYBA. The Nike Aero CX2 (BT0636) will not come with the new thumbprint USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. The bats will read 1.15 BPF on the barrel, but are not legal for play in almost every league. These bats are still in new, unused condition.
