The Nokona Bloodline bats are made using Micro-Technology, which is the process of taking water out of the rough-cut of wood. Drying the rough-cut wood is a crucial ingredient in the bat making process. Nokona bats utilize state-of-the-art radio frequency and vacuum drying which relieves residual stress in the wood grain and allows the wood to be consistently dried. Competitors use a kiln for the drying process, which can take up to four months to complete. Nokona's technology allows them to complete the drying process in just five days.
