Ask A QuestionDo you still produce the 33" version of this bat? I purchased one last year for my son and he loves it. The JustBats website shows only 32" and 34" thanks Jay
Pearson does still manufacture a 33" model of the Pearson Pro Model Birch Wood Baseball Bat: PH74 Adult bat. We do not currently have it in stock so it is not on the website as an option to order. We do have some 33" models on the way though and will be up on the website as an option to order as soon as we have them in stock.
Is the high school legal?
Yes. This bat is legal for High School play. This bat has a 2 5/8" barrel and will have a weight of -2 to -3.
Product Description
This is a Pearson Bat Company Pro Model PH74 yellow birch wood bat. With Pearson Bat Company we only turn wood that we ourselves would actually swing and you will always be getting a bat for the player made by the player. We use hand picked American yellow birch and a state of the art CNC lathe process to turn the most consistent wood bats in the business. Pearson yellow birch results in a harder bat than traditional white-ash and is more resistant to flaking, chipping, and breaking. It also has more flex to it than rock maple. Because of this, the yellow birch bat is like a hybrid of ash and maple, taking some properties of each type of wood. This model has taken the nation by storm since 2001 when a similar bat was used to break the single season homerun record. The PH74 is exactly like the PH73 EXCEPT it has a bigger barrel! The barrel measures just larger than 2 5/8 and tapers down to a medium 15/16 inch handle. The large flared knob acts to counter balance the barrel and whip the bat-head through the zone. Each bat is meticulously hand sanded and finished and almost looks too good to use! But once you do you`ll never swing another bat. Pearson Bat Company, Not Just Another Mass Produced Bat.
